Gorgeous little place, nice visit at the little pond lots of ducks and ducklings. Stopped on my way while at work.. well camouflaged cache. Nice quick find. TFTC.
Found it. Great camo took us a little while to find it. Signed log. Thanks ??
A lovely reserve to bring us to thank you. The cockatoos were curious and watched as we made our way to the GZ. Clever hide with excellent canmo.
Great camo. Thank you GJMMelb for placing and maintaining #5 BTW - Settlers Orchard for us to find today.
This was a good one to finish my day on. A clever camo and a lovely park for a quick wander. Thanks for this cache GJMMelb.
I had the pleasure of discovering and logging the (BTW - settlers orchard) geocache today. What a fantastic find it was! The hide was cleverly crafted
Upon arriving at the location coordinates, I embarked on a thorough search of the area. After a few moments of carefully examining the surroundings, my persistence paid off, and I uncovered the ingeniously hidden cache. The container itself was brilliantly disguised, seamlessly blending into the environment.
appreciate the effort that went into creating this cache.
I must commend the cache owner for their creativity and attention to detail. It's caches like these that remind me why I love geocaching so much—always full of surprises and rewarding experiences.

Drove around to this one then short stroll with the dogs. Liked the camouflage and indeed the container shape- quite fitting. Didn’t take to long to spot. Another favourite. TFTC
First to find … the new container!
A lovely place for a walk. After finding a solved puzzle not far away, we walked over to this nice little lake.
We passed our first dog library. A shame buddy wasn’t with us today
The container is there. It’s very well camouflaged.
Thanks for the cache and the walk GJMMelb.
We have done two in the series. We will comeback with Buddy one day to find the other three.

Had a lucky scare here. Dropped a bit but all was good and still intact. Thanks for the cache. Oh soooo many cockies here, sooo loud.

We thought this may be a dnf with the recent rain, but we quickly made the find upon arrival. Gorgeous spot. Thanks!
Cache replaced in original position. Cache is more difficult with high water level.
Team Autumn out this way to drop a geokid to camp. Found around ten tiny little ducklings being well guarded by their parents right at ground zero. They swam out into the pond while we rescued the cashe from floating away, TFTC
It was floating.
We have notified the owner and lifted the cache in to the crook of the tree.
Taking a scout to a scout camp and doing some caching

Nice easy find in a pretty area I hadn't visited before. Took nothing but left 3 polished gemstones. TFTC
Fun find! The cache is still just above the water line and dry. We put a little coral and two plastic discs in which are much valued by our geokids to say thanks for the nice cache.
#1340 - The cache was nice and safe, tucked away from the high water level. Enjoyed the serenity of GZ for a bit before moving on.

Had a good look but it was getting dark then read log to say it was 1m from original position so have to come back another day.
With the lake level quite high the cache was not easily acceissible. Cache has been relocated to a drier spot about 1m away.
In Warranwood to pick something up after work, and since I dont have to make dinner tonight I made the most of the drive over and found some caches.
I wondered how this cache could possibly be dry, as I spotted it from the jetty. Amazingly, it was as if it hadn't been anywhere near water! It does make me wonder if it's supposed to actually be swimming or if the lake is just really high.

Found on the second visit, before the rain set in on a cold wet Sunday, when I happened to be in the area for other things. Glad to pick this one up, where I looked last time but was expecting something a little drier...thanks.
Checked the cache and cache was in place. The water level has gone down to the original level so the cache has been replaced in its original position.
DNF Today hope it’s safe but the water on the pond has rose up to the top of the dock
The water level of the dam is high and has been for while, making finding the cache rather wet and difficult. Cache has been re-located to a drier location.
This will never forget this cache. I looked for this one a couple of days ago and found nothing. I contacted the CO who gave me a hint and I returned, even though I was sure I had checked that spot. The cache was indeed missing. I was approached by and lady and her young son, who lived locally and saw me hunting. ‘Are you looking for this’ they asked. I certainly was. Turns out that the family is involved in a rubbish removal volunteers group and had removed the cache, as they thought it was rubbish. They then realised it was ‘something’ and took it home. They had never heard of geocaching so I gave them a lesson in exchange for the cache, which I replaced where it should be. All’s well that ends well.
I have no idea! I did what the hint recommended and got very muddy knees and elbows. I scratched around in putrid muck and I ended up very, very disgustingly dirty. I could hear my long dead mother chastising me for playing in the mud. The upshot of all this is that I did not find the cache. Bah.
Spent over an hour looking. We had an idea what we were looking for, and it still surprised us.
In fact Mr Riddell had given up and walked almost back to the car when Mrs Riddell spotted a something that looked like it was discarded rubbish! She yelled out to Mr Riddell wait a minute ( he hadn’t and was already gone). All the neighbours could though and he eventually realised that she meant business… thank goodness he returned because Mrs Riddell had already removed the cache cap and forced the log out but couldn’t continue as she was one handed trying not to drop the open cache into the water.
When it was all done and dusted Mrs Riddell just replaced where found, ready for the next finder to overlook it as well!
A real good challenge here. Not sure it should have been where it was eventually located, but there has been big rain events since the owner last checked it on 4/12.
Head the warning that you Will definitely require sanitiser with this cache!
BtW we loved the little lake and surrounds. An excellent picnic area nearby at the playground… remember the sanitiser!

This was a well hidden cache they may have eluded us had we not been with a previous finder. Although, when we arrived at GZ, we were fairly certain what we needed to be looking for. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Well I thought this would be an easy one. Nice spot but after grubbing around at the water's edge I gave up after getting mud all over my arms. Can't see where it could be.
We plan to visit all of our caches to check on them and do any maintenance required before re-enabling them and have done half so far as our exercise for the past week or so
We aim to have them all visited by mid November.

Sadly, here we go again. Stay safe and healthy everyone. Hopefully see you in 6 weeks
May we suggest that you please use hand sanitiser before and after finding this cache - thanks This cache is being re-enabled with the hope that Community spread of Covid19 remains extremely low. We will visit each cache in the coming weeks to make sure it is still there and in good condition.
Been coming down here and poking around a little for the last 6 months occasionally, to no avail. Had a hunch that today would be the day, and it was!

In Melbourne for a few days on an unexpected trip from Qld, and couldn't resist picking up a cache or two. Unfortunately this was not one of them. I gave it a red hot go but between gps bounce, cache blindness and mozzies, i had to call it a day. Thanks to the CO for placing & maintaining this cache, pity I couldn't find it. Just a wet tennisball and a dummy.
Cheers.
4 trackables visited the boatramp.

Came here this afternoon, beautiful area for a lookout, unfortunately, there were flood around here, too wet to look for the cache. Will be back when the water is down. Thanks GJMMelb for placing the cache.
Great cache! Unfortunately, the container has leaked, and the bag wasn't sealed. So the contents are very wet. The logbook isn't damaged, but it's too wet to sign.
Oh gosh this took a lot longer to find than I thought it would. With the munchkin staring at me (pretty sure I was getting the hurry up I am bored look) I just kept missing it. After reading a few logs I finally zeroed in on where I needed to look and, bingo, there it was. TFTC!
Another enjoyable find although a little tricky. Everything was in good condition and was fun to be the first signature in the new book. Tftc.
Great hide, and only got a little bit muddy log book is damp so did not sign. Thanks for the cache
Grub62 and I were out this way and thought it would be a good idea to find this cache while we here. We would not have found it without the help of previous logs also the terrain rating is a clue. A clever hide. TFTC.
Out this way for an appointment and thought we would collect a cache before hand. TFTC GJMMelb it was a good hide. Our GPS had us like previous logs on the wrong side. Loved this little park.
Took a while to find as I was looking in the wrong spot for a bit. Then I saw the cool cache in its spot. All in good condition. Fave point from me. TFTC
Today I was out and about gathering some points for the cache carnival. I enjoyed the walk around this lake, these people are certainly fortunate to live here. My search for the cache took a while until I put my phone away and used my geosenses. Then I spied it!!! .. a sneaky hide.. You’ve got to be kidding! A definite fav from me! A big thankyou to GMGMelb for creating and maintaining this cache.
So clearly didn’t think this ‘caching before dinner saga’ through too well. Oh well, what’s a little mud and water between friends... will need to be more careful with my footing next time; at least the ducks had a laugh! Favourite from me for another memorable caching moment.
Thanks for the walk around Croydon hills. Lovely place. Needs some rain at the moment. Love the most pointless boat ramp in the world. Ha
As we approached GZ we could see there had been a lot of work going on and the pond was pretty much drained, but luckily the cache was not affected and we managed to find it after a short search. TFTC
Found with ginger _ bill 101 and geo kid.
Quick easy find. Swapped little blue ball for an eraser. Peaceful little park.

Good morning and merry Christmas! Thought I'd have a short walk around this area while I was down from Sydney, and pick up some caches on the way. This is a nice spot to watch the ducks. TFTC!
Wow . now that is a really good hide . Hope the O ring lasts . Deserves a Favorite . Thanks GJMMelbourne
Searched on 1 side of the jetty and then the other....no luck. Hmmm. Got myself into a new position for a better look and...wait what is that.... aha! The log was a bit damp but still managed to sign, and getting the cache back to its spot was tricky but got there in the end! TFTC!
Don’t often come up this way, but happened to be in the area on a beautiful Spring morning and thought I’d try my luck.
I, too, had my phone pointing at the wrong side. Called it quits, but then thought I might as well look over there before I go, and whaddya know - there’s the cache!
A pretty area I will need to explore more thoroughly

Back for another look after failing here a few weeks ago. The GPS was still pointing at the wrong side but eventually after checking both corners I spotted the container floating. I managed to reach it without getting too wet and soon had the log signed and cache replaced up and under where it belonged.
Thanks GJMMelb for the cache.

Great geocache. The lake is great and there are ducks, and the geocache is not too hard, but not too easy to find. Really fun!
