A nice find, kept looking in the wrong places as the compass was not being very friendly. Eventually looked in the right spot
There is scaffolding surrounding gz and major works happening, we had a look but had no luck.
Off on another Friday evening caching run and for tonight's adventure I selected the Deakin area. Specifically focusing on the nearby Virtual Cache and the WhereIGo.Time for one more geocache and this one had been in my solved list for a long time. Got to GZ and found the geocache container quickly. However it was too dark to read the numbers, but by torch light, I was able to open it. Very nice geocache, well done. Took just as long to close the lock. Thanks for the cache Cycling GuyHunter
Nice easy puzzle to solve. Cache quickly located on way home from a dog walk in the area with a friend. Struggled with lock initially but a torch sorted that. All in good order. TFTC
A busy weekend of events, CITOs, and occasional caches.
Variable weather, but stayed dry most of the time.
I probably should have know the birthday, but I had too look it up.
Took ages to get the combination right to access the logbook.
Thanks, Robmc.

Had the answer from the puzzle, and worked out where to find the cache. It eluded us for a bit, even with its size, I think our owl eyes weren't working at first. Great to see a large cache in suburbia. Thanks Cycling_guy
It took a while to spot the container. I knew the answer from my days as a Cub Leader.

After scouts, i went out the back looking for this cache with a friend. after 5 minutes of looking, my friend had to leave, so i kept looking. I eventually found the cache, and Traded some items. TFTC
Found it! On the way from visiting Dad and Jos, I stopped here to find my daily mystery cache. We spent the day watching news about The Queen. A day that will be remembered. TFTC SL
Scouts are such a fantastic institution. They have a great message and a great way to get kids involved with their community.
My youngest son had the wonderful opportunity to go to last years Cuboree camp and he had an absolute blast.
Making memories that will last a lifetime.
Embrace life.. mud and all! TFTC

Our Learner son had a short day at uni today so I had some time to search out a few caches.
Although there were a few cars in the carpark here, no muggles were in evidence.
A quick search of a likely spot revealed a well concealed good sized container. Having obtained the necessary information to access the logbook, I soon had it signed.
I enjoyed being a part of the scouting movement many years ago, and have great memories of camps, hikes and a jamboree during that time.

I left my run a bit late tonight and with a meeting at 7:30, I had to make this a quick find… “just one more”. The find was anything but quick, but that was purely my own fault. I parked in the nearby carpark and noticed the guides hall lights were on. There was only one other car in the whole area though so I was hoping someone had forgotten to turn off the lights. I set off to complete my search. My GPS was a little bouncy but I was sure of the likely final location. My geosenses were right, but after missing it on the first look, it was another 15mins before I eventually found the decent sized cache in the very first place I looked. Sometimes where you position yourself can be a disadvantage to your search!
With the code to hand after a quick google, the cache was finally released and the log signed.
Thanks Cycling_guy for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Working on my mystery month challenge!
We didn’t pick the most ideal time to try and find the cache as it appeared that either a scout activity or another muggle gathering was going on when we arrived at GZ.
However, we arrived in the evening and the sun set quite quickly. With the cover of darkness we attempted for the cache and after a fumbled with the lock a few times finally the logbook was signed.
I appreciate that the cache was a little hidden away it made for an easier time at GZ.
The cache was in great condition and the logbook was nice and dry. If we had more time and daylight we would have stay and read more of the old logs. Unfortunately we had to sign quickly and head off. TFTC

After finding a nearby cache - Bunadoorian had suggested we come here to find this one. He had done his homework so we came prepared with info needed. Bunadoorian found the cache quickly - but had a slight problem getting into it - so I got the cache open and logbook out. While signing the logbook a gentleman approached and we thought - oh no sprung! But to our delight he asked is that the geocache - yes - emandel was happy as he had been searching nearby so he signed the logbook as well. After a lovely chat with the logbook secured in the cache we headed our separate ways. TFTC and for bringing us here Cycling_guy.
Looked in the wrong place, then saw two muggles ... No, wait, two lovely cachers who already grabbed the cache! Thank you for placing a nice cache that provided the excuse for an impromptu cachers' meeting!
Out for a run with Physics Teacher - somehow I forgot to log this one
Thanks for the cache folks, a fun find

Out with Cambendy enjoying the pre spring weather. This one has been waiting for us to swing by and today was it. Great to see a good sized, well constructed cache for a change. Thanks Cycling_guy for a great end to the day.
co-ordinates had us slightly off, i saw an area that looked like a sure place for a cache, decided to give it a go and there it was! TFTC
Finding.Sarah spotted it but was defeated by spiders, cobwebs and the fact that I misread the question!
I jumped in and after consulting google got the correct answer and signed the log.

Last month... while completing *sharkiefan's* **Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge**, I dropped in here on a Sunday afternoon to look for this cache... bad idea... muggles everywhere.
Today I was back in the area chasing Wherigos for some different challenge caches... yeah, I like challenge caches... so I thought I would give this one another try... Monday lunch time is a much better time... no one around to slow me down.
The indicated GZ had the wanders so it took me a while to finally locate the cache... but when I did, I was quickly signing the log. Thanks **Cycling_guy** for this cache.

Fun fun fun. Grabbed from a deserted car park with a little help from Dr Google.
Never knew the year but I had known the birthdate, many many moons ago, as my sibling shares this date
Thanks.

It was "all go" at the Scout Hall today... too many muggles about, maybe another day.
Found the cache after a bit of wandering with Tommo. Tftc.

Interesting catch this one . Was not where we had initially thought it to be. Encourage this one for the younger ones. Good start for a geo thrill ️
I had no intention of finding a mystery cache on this cold, night time walk. But I was passing here, saw there was a cache nearby, so thought I might read the description...
All good. A few minutes finding the neatly hidden cache and solving the puzzle. Access was that tiny bit tricky - but that's really only an issue when you finish replacing the container and discover you have mentioned to not replace it properly, necessitating a full reversal of the process and then a second return. All good in the end! TFTC

Staying at home is no fun apparently. Staying at work is no fun apparently. Very confusing times.
After a massive shed clean up this morning we chose this spot to do our daily exercise.
Whilst exercising we were zeroing in on the coordinates to this cool hide.
Hand sanitiser in the car is great for peace of mind.
The first arctic blast of Winter showing itself today so back to isolation in a cosy warm house.
Thanks for your cool hide.

Found as the sun was going down. Took embarrassingly long to locate this cache, but managed to open it fairly easily. TFTC
Didn't take long to find the solution but it took us a while to find the puzzle.
Thanks Cycling_guy.

Spent the afternoon teaching a 12-year-old about caching. This was the first one to find and we found fairly easily once we were at GZ. Thanks for the fun
GPS bounces about a bit but soon had the cache in hand. Lock is hard to read in location and a little stiff but I got there in the end

Well “Guides Honour” I went there your majesty but I had a dreadful long long time trying to get the code to work the system in place so I had to contact the CO. I belonged to 3rd Co Syndal Guides decades ago and thought it was the greatest thing as we went camping and did badges etc etc. TFTC and the movement that gave me great memories
A muggle came past walking her dog so we had to be careful not to be caught but found the cache easily enough! TFTC
Found with geoFam and the grandparents on this lovely sunny Father’s Day. Did a swap. All in good condition TFTC
Was in the area and realised this was a quick puzzle cache. Made my way around to GZ. Soon found the cache and I was armed with the necessary information to open it. Smiley here - left a badge - and locked up cache. Thanks Cycling_guy for the maintenance of the cache. I trust the scouts know about it and are aware of the thrill we all get from great hides and caches.
There were lots of cars at the GZ so I thought I would have to dodge muggles however there were none to be seen.. i later realised that students from the uni Park here .. the cache was nicely hidden from view and I was pleased to see such a big cache.. makes a Chang from micros .. thanks Cycling_guy for placing the cache
Had to wait for some people to leave and the cache was hard to open but success in the end. tftc
31 May 2019:
Streak Day #92/366
(1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020). Nice security cache. When I opened the cache. The blue ball quickly came out and dropped into ground. I quickly looked down but the ball beats me as it disappeared nowhere. Been searching everywhere for the ball not the cache - no success sob sob!! Will come back again to leave something soon for others to enjoy. TFTC and the puzzle.

I was needing a non trad cache for a challenge and so I chose this one. I picked the wrong time to come here as there was football training on the oval nearby. In between muggles coming and going I was able to make a relatively quick find.
**Thanks to Cycling_guy for placing this cache.**

Finally. No shadow of a lie we must have spent at least half an hour here in the past searching high and low for this monster. We analysed every log and unearthed every stone. We even got to see underneath the scout hall as the local scouts went in there for some reason and let us have a look. But after close to an hour of searching we abandoned this cache and went elsewhere (didn't find that one either - it was not a good day).
Fast forward to today. We were actually sitting close to another nearby cache and unable to get out of the car due to the torrential rain. I had had a thought about this one yesterday and suggested we go and have a look at this one instead. Luckily the rain eased up as we got to the scout hall and geopartner went on the hunt while I stayed in the car with the geokids. I pointed him in a certain direction. No luck. Then he went a few meters away from that and started fiddling around all the sudden he was coming back to the car with the goods. Hooray! Why didn't we look there last time (just quietly I thought we did, but geopartner was searching that section). Geodaughter spent some time analysing the swaps and then we were happily on our way. Many thanks Cycling_guy - no idea what happened there. TFTC

It took me a while to understand what this was about, but then I saw the cache and knew exactly what I had to do. Nice to have a big cache after all the nanos and micros I keep coming across.
Yay, we came back for this one after some clues from @Cycling_guy. Thanks! Did some swaps too.
After searching around for a bit, the cache was found. The lock took a some fiddling around with to open as well. Cool hide, fave point from me. TFTC
Out with the delightful echidna44 today as it seemed mandatory that we go successfully caching today to earn the souvenir As this one was on my list of solved puzzles we headed this way for a quick and accurate find TFTC Cycling-guy
Out with au.fait, we had to find a cache and collect the souvenir for the day. With accurate co-ords, we found the clever cache straight away. Great spot, thanks Cycling_guy
Took me a couple of visits before I found it. It's quite a few metres from posted coordinates. I agree, it's the biggest log I've seen. Thanks for the cache and the hunt and the fun! Good to see the scarecrow is now propped back up. He was in the dirt on previous visit.
GPS was playing up stacks and we were all over the place. The past activity logs and hints were what we used to find the cache. Ta heaps
We made a list of “To Do” caches we wanted to find today and this one was right up there. GeoSon took over while LouJean70 and I stood back and watched. We soon were signing and swapping.

Out with dad, geo cousin ASP84 and geo kids today. We enjoyed everything here, exploring the little garden, the green grass, the leaves and of course the cache. Thank you
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Burwood area. Nice weather. Nice and found. Thanks Cycling_guy for the cache
I thought I knew what I needed to do for this one, and that it would be fairly straightforward and in the end it was, but it took me a long time to find that cache! I thought I'd looked in every nook and cranny and I was about to give up, convinced that the cache was gone, but it turned out that there was just one angle that I apparently had missed out. Phew. Finally I was able to access the log book and sign my name. Nice hide TFTC

I couldn't decide whether to go for Multi March, Mystery May or vice versa. March, as it happened, was a bit of a bust, so I split the difference and am attempting both in April.
The multi part of the equation out of the way, I could concentrate on the question marks on the map...
Armed with what I needed for access, this was a nice quick one to sign. I love these.
Cycling_guy, thanks for the hide. My thirteenth Mystery and twenty-first find for the day/night.
One challenge down, a milestone and only five shy of the third goal. And I've run out of solved puzzles this side of Werribee, so time to call it a night. So close...

Out for a quick bit of caching before heading to the ANZAC day football, quick find here and on my way. TFTC.
Had a bit of time to fill today between appointments so what to do? When we pulled up, so did another car but they went in the opposite direction.
The cache was quickly located, signed and returned with no problems. Thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here.

I searched for this one several weeks ago, but couldn't find it.
(I didn't log a DNF because I had every intention of trying again.)
This visit I searched in some of the places I'd searched before and there it was.
Maybe I need new glasses.
Finding the info I needed to access the log was easy.

Out with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja for a quick cache before our movie. After some trouble at a previous cache. This one was quick and easy
Maintaining our streak is getting hard... But we will persevere!
Here we are, the answer provided by the great sage Wiki via a reference from Google ready to be entered.
Thanks for an easy find! After one DNF today and a deadline due to movie tickets.

What a ripper spot! Is passed this way before but never stopped. Glad I did this time! Cheers!
My second Cycling_guy cache for the day!
After finding Westminster TB Hostel, I thought I'd investigate the other caches in the CO's stable. Sadly, many had run their course and were now archived (time for some new ones?) but this one was still going strong.
Happily, I had to pick my daughter up from a nearby sleepover at her cousin's which had extended from Saturday night right through until after Sunday dinner. It was thus dark when I got to the back of the scout hall.
I rummaged by torchlight for a while amongst loose bricks and concrete before moving to a more sensible area. Aha, there it was, nice and secure! Soon the vault was breached and the monster logbook signed.
Left a lion as cache guardian!
Thanks for another adventure Cycling_guy!

Wow that was a great find and back story. My sister said we were related to Baden-Powell but I've done the ancestry and am yet to find the connection. I hope the scouting movement continues to stay strong, it's such an important outlet for the kids.
What a treat. Found with friends who live nearby. Good fun cache to find and clever use of hiding in plain sight. Cheers
Found the cache nice and easily, then had to use everybody's friend, Google, before I could gain access to the log. It needed a bit of giggling before deciding to open up.
Thanks to the Cycling_guy for the cache.

I flew into scouts from Sydney to Celebrate the 10th bday of the Venturer unit here. Which i use to be a leader at. So i checked in on the cache and picked up the travel bug to take on my upcoming adventurers to the other side of the world.
I'm at the tail end of mystery month and it seems almost traditional to include this one! I thought I had enough caches done, but now I'm not sure one of them will count, so getting a few extras seems like a good plan. Put the scout motto into action so I was prepared - lucky I didn't have to look around too long before I found it and got it signed. thanks for the cache!
Find number 5957 at 6:07:15 pm
Well it's finally Mad March Mystery Month for me and the count is now climbing towards at least 31 mystery caches for the month, hopefully. Solved the puzzle some time ago but I had to wait until March to go find the prize.
A nice quick find and armed with the correct info I was in like Flynn...
**Thanks for placing this cache Cycling_guy**
Left TB, met CO, cool...

Eighthknox and I came here in an attempt to add to our Mystery Month tally however upon arrival at the site eighthknox realised he had been here before so it was just a find for me but a quick one at that witha little help. A good solid container it would be tricky at busy times TFTC
Muggles, I presume scout leaders started arriving for some reason, so I gave up. Cache easy to find but difficult to open.
I'm almost embarrassed to advise of my severe cache blindness here this morning... I arrived at GZ and scanned the obvious area, then widened the search. Hmm, nothing... I even looked where the container is quite clearly placed, but did not see it... Yeah, I don't know how either...
I headed off for another cache and sought a nudge from a previous finder, to ensure I wasn't going mad. Err, what do you mean I should focus "there", I already did... [?] Turns out I clearly had a boy look and needed an extra foot or so to spot the prize... DOH.
So, with the critical part out of the way, I entered the code and added my name to the log. Most thankful for not leaving town without this one. Maybe the extended Melbourne heat got to me and my vision was blurred... That's the story I will stick with for a while anyway...
Cheers Cycling Guy.

Swings and roundabouts on this one. Turned up hoping for a nice, easy puzzle cache as I went into the Mystery Month challenge without any pre-solved at all. I walk around the area checking all the usual places for a regular sized container and didn't find anything.
Last night, I had a chat with a previous finder who advised of the location and as is the way I thought I had checked that area thoroughly. Back again today and lo and behold, a slightly different angle....
I probably bumped the level of difficulty on this one but all is well that ends well, right ?
