Love finding archived caches. . Found the cache easily. 18 months since last find. TFTC

After a nice weekend in Port Macquarie, we stopped by here on the way home as it was still listed in my GPS. Without having read the previous logs until I got home, the cache was found after a few minutes search in the most obvious place to look. No need for this one to have been archived...just need to search around more.
Gratias Tossit.

One or more of the following has occurred:
No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Repeated requests for CO intervention have amounted to nothing so far. A string of DNFs too. Time for either maintenance or archive. We did see an awesome perenti here today though!
Had a good search around GZ with Nellc with no luck. This area has been taken over by the illegal dumping. Needs checking or archiving.
Maybe with all the dumped mounds of dirt the CO needs to re position this one. It is indeed really confusing.
No easy find for us while heading south. Not under the rock in the burnt out section of the tree unless it's buried.
No sign of it. Not the sort of place to hang around. A very grubby place. Some ignorant people have been dumping stuff there.
Found with the geo-crew on the way to a long weekend away up north. There was a camper van pulled up near GZ but they took off as we pulled in. I remember cursing Karuah many a time in holiday traffic jams along here but now the town is a delightful spot to pull up. Many thanks Tossit
A quick find in the early AM
Remember many a drive past this bus stop, either after a Super feed at the old Truck Stop down the road or getting ready for a feed and break depending on our direction

We are heading to Newcastle for a few days of caching & to attend the Halloween Event.
We picked up afew along the highway.
After leaving our caravan we set out to do a few caches in the local area around Tomago & Stockton.
A great day visiting the many different locations.
As we arrived at Gz a large truck dumped some soil right in front of the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache Tossit

My GPS put me 23 metres away from the cache? Could be why the Lost Highways was lost not found?!
But a nice easy one when your eye is in. TFTC!

Every fortnight I drive past karuah and every fortnight someone is nearby. This time around no one to be seen. Thankyou for the cache

We only have 11 finds until we have 4000 finds so today we decided to find 10 as we are planning a trip to the Frying Pan cache (the oldest cache in the Hunter) tomorrow.
The clouds were black as we approached the bus shelter as this is where the GPS indicated GZ was. As we got out of the car the heavens opened and it rained heavily. Luckily we were searching a bus shelter for the cache. We came up empty handed so we started to read previous logs only to discover that the cache is located up the road a bit - about 20 to 30 metres away - so we used coordinates in the past logs and soon had the cache in hand.
TFTC Tossit - you really need to update your coordinates.

As previous logs mention the coords are out by 20m, but an easy find when you work out in which direction...!
This one marks our 900th cache find...YAY

A nice quick find this morning on our way to Forster. After reading previous logs and using the coordinates provided in them, the listed is 20m away from the cache.
A nice quick find using the other co-ordinate’s – like the location all things move on but you hope not too far - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Bus stop is a ruse, looked further afield as encouraged by previous finds and found it
Thanks Latanzi . Our Garmin only has the last 5 logs and the puta has all the logs . Your co-ordinates were spot on. Methinks the bus stop is just a decoy. SL, TFTC "Tossit" for making us stop and rest on our journey
The other Karuah cache on the lost hwy. Used the "other coords" for a quick find. Tftc moving on now.
No luck today . But we will try again (after some research), on the return journey through here
Found on the homeward trip after house sitting in Port for the past 12 days. Hope your son doesn't move on as far as ours (one went to England, the other to Canada) SL TFTC
No need to stomp through the grass , a good thing as it I'd till quite wet. TFTC left a penny for the next person.
This was a very sad looking bus stop. Having read the logs we headed to some distance from GZ at a likely place and saw the camo. We took the TB but none of our present travellers would fit in the very small container. Thanks for the hide.
Now at home and reading previous logs, it seems that the co-ords are a fair way out. No wonder we couldn't find it.
Maybe the CO could check and correct the listed co-ords??
Another day..................

Nice quick drive by while staying at the Big 4 at Karuah, before moving on back home.
Thanks Tossit.
Thanks Tossit.
Found at 11:41 AM GAFF3. On our way to the Hunter for a few days and we just had to make a slight diversion to clear this one after a very wet failed attempt a few days earlier. With slightly more accurate co-ords from Latanzi, we pulled up and found the cache straight away this time. Why are the co-ords so far out?
Thanks Tossit.
Thanks Tossit.
A quick find on the way back from Newcastle
Have a look at 092 995 for closer proximity
Left a small coin to continue its travels

DNF at 10:44 AM. Couldn't find this cache so I moved on! It was pouring with rain and moving about the high wet grass was a bit uncomfortable. My clothes remained wet until I reached home in Port Macquarie!
I now note that the previous finder claims it to be 19 metres out
