I am sorry we have to archive this cache due to diggers and graders coming in and taking out all the plants which were in and near our cache. Sorry for any inconvenience, but sadly we just didn't realise that this was going to happen.
Thank you for all who got to sign our log, we didn't get there in time to save the actual log book, but have it on record here.
Cheers

#11794. The uneven terrain was not kind on my twisted ankle, and the nearby machinery made it hard to focus on searching. I was pleased when Troodles located the cache. TFTC.
After lunch, we loaded up the car with the bikes and drove to Papamoa Beach to find a few caches in the area en bicyclette. A pleasant ride though we had to dismount and walk to the beach caches. We found 13 all together, but have only scratched the surface! Will have to return to look for more, hopefully tomorrow.
There was heavy machinery working very close by, plus a full black rubbish bag near GZ which put us off our game somewhat. Eventually found it just as we were wondering whether to call it quits (the heavy machinery was coming uncomfortably close to where we were searching). TFTC.
Logged with wrong date, now fixed.

We checked this cache out as someone mentioned co-ord's being out, but they are correct and not out as suggested, still in right place, happy caching. Cheers Keltic-Kiwi
Quick little park and grab even though co ords were showing 5mtrs out today. TFTC
Second time looking for this one. Needed light to help find in. Thanks guys. Signed Teq & Barker.
Joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 today and headed down to Papamoa and Mount Maunganui for a long day of caching. We arrived in Papamoa early in the morning and then spent the rest of this hot summers day making our way to The Mount and finding what caches we could along the way. A quick find of the cache here, while on our travels. TFTC!

Vistra and I had decided to go for a full on day and head down to Papamoa / Mount Maunganui to see if we could get some numbers and quick drive bys.
Nice quick find, TFTC

Have checked this one this morning and is in place, so should be able to find. Cheers Kiwi
I had found this with frewilys some time ago got my own name now so signed it myself
4 year old was thrilled to find this one himself. GPS coordinates were spot on. TFTC
Fourth successful find of the day with FrankuSaan! (Log book seems to be getting damp)
This was one of more than fifty Geocaches I found today in the company of HKB and 11hpg11. We signed the logs HI1, an anachronism of our handles to save on log space. We travelled over to the Mount and Papamoa from Hamilton, leaving at the end of the All Black/ South Africa test at about 5am and didn’t roll back into Hamilton until after 8pm. It was a long day, and the weather wasn’t the best but that didn’t stop us from having a great time exploring the area and enjoying the wide variety of high quality hides.
While I looked in all the wrong places 11hpg11 spotted this cache and we were soon off again. TFTC

Out on a numbers mission with HKCB and Iammrwalker to clear out some of the caches in Tauranga/Papamoa area. We left Hamilton at 5am and had a full day of caches, a few DNFs, a refreshing swim in a pond and a whole lot of laughs. We signed logs as 'HI1' as an acronym for our caching names to save log space. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great variety of caches, puzzles and location
Looked for some yuccas and stumbled upon a cache in the first spot I looked.

Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
Some funny looking Yucca's here! HPG stumbled across the cache in the first place she looked, thanks for the hide.

This one took a bit of hunting as GPS was skipping all over the place, glad this is not a very built up area at the moment as we would of looked real out of place. TFTC
I'm not sure what went wrong last time but found this today in a pretty typical place. I'll put it down to newbieism. (It's a word now...)
Lovely spot.

Lovely day for a bike ride around the growing Papamoa trails. What a lot of development going on here. Nice cache, all good. Had a few spare pencils today so added one to the cache.
Also practiced our CITO -removing 6 bits of old plastic from around this cache, including 2 with dog shit in them... New area, no rubbish bins yet. TFTC

Some more geocaching on my way up to Auckland. Geocache was quickly found. TFTC
Our first trip down to Tauranga for a basketball event so we stopped off to grab a few caches.
Took a bit of searching, but the hide was obvious once we found it.

1050 1st of a new year while out on a morning 10km run and cache around papamoa with Jax479. TFTC
Our first Papamoa cache being Wellington natives, and opened the log book to see the last people to sign the log book were friends of ours also from Wellington. Hi CaligulaNZ and family. Also the first cache of the year, feeling a bit dodgy from celebrations the night before but the caching must go on! With metal-art.
Over for a bit of Boxing-Day caching from Otuemotai. Nice wee hide - surprisingly quick find!

A really enjoyable day in Tauranga. An early morning raid on Matua netted a few. A middle of the day stroll (yeah right!) up the Mount added a few more, and a quick jaunt to Papamoa enabled us to find the one we'd heard about at the event last night. So long and thanks for all the caches
Mrs L onto this one, while Mr L was still fluffing about; cache nice and dry, thank you.
Went back second time, found it. It took the kids to find it. Sometimes I overthink things and over look for things. Tftc
Over here today for meetings with a number of clients so this made my first early in the morning even before the bike riding muggles were passing by. This cache completed an aspect of the final requirement for the final stage of the GCLS
Parked in the right spot, wandered out and soon had the cache in hand, signed and returned.
Nice spot to stop at
Thanks for the placement

Not a lot of development going on here yet but it probably won't take long. Cache not yukky at all TFTC
