Needs taking offline (or archiving maybe). The lookout has been closed for repair but like most places I wouldn't expect any repairs in a hurry. Shame really as I looked forward to the challenge of this one!
The lookout tower is no longer accessible - it is totally roped off and marked as unsafe. We therefore assumed that the cache is no longer accessible also.
Did not find this one today . Four of us looked up and down sideways and backwards for over half an hour alas no luck
Sadly no find here, had to wait for a muggle family to go (that took for ever) and came up empty handed by the time we herd the next lot coming up the track, so we had to walk away.
#1896 We had swung by this one yesterday but were muggled out. No such issues today in the scorching heat. Mrs BGF found the cache which was a relief given how spots this could be hidden here! But then she decided to turn the difficulty rating up to 4.5 by dropping the nano lid! A new search was then underway to locate the lid, this was needle in a haystack kind of stuff, but again the sharp eyed Mrs BGF spotted it. Phew, all is well that ends well. The logsheet is full, we checked our geocaching bag but unfortunaly didn't have any spare nano logs with us today. TFTC cheekymonkey7.
Quick find, but by luck only! Great cache, no spots left to write on though!
Tftc. Took us an hour to find. What a great experience for our nephew from Canada.
A surprisingly easy find. I thought I'd be hunting for a while. Thanks for the Cache
No Geo Love here!! Started with the geokid & I looking up & down, up & down again, then on our 2nd time down we were joined by 2 thought-to-be-muggles who turned out to be once-upon-a-time cachers. So the 4 of us looked for well over an hour (which ended their walk) but couldn't find any sign of the cache. Despite trying every single bolt/nut, & scouring every metal surface, this one wasn't to be & we reluctantly gave up
The towers of the spa country were not kind to us today. This was the first of 2 tower DNF's today

Team of 5 with panda grublet made it easy'er. Loved the view and the breeze..
Nothing gives more pleasure than finding a cache previously logged as a DNF, and this is no exception. Today was a very good day for me, in fact, successfully finding 4 previous DNFs and several others along the way. I found this one on my second visit with my 2 children. While we searching, two independent groups of people arrived and climbed the tower to admire the view. I was surprised to see it so busy here! Although I knew exactly what I was looking for, it took 2 or three trips up & down the tower and about 20 minutes to finally make the find! Thanks for bringing us here today cheekymonkey7 - really enjoyed the hunt for this one and the views from the top of the tower are well worth the climb.
Didn't expect to find this one so quickly but looked thr right way at the right time. TFTC
Great view from here and awesome running tracks. Took us a little while but we found it. No pen so have a photo in case proof is needed. Left as found. TFTC
Oh no! A tiny nano that could be anywhere from the bottom to the top of this magnificent tower?? I wasn't too hopeful to find this one in a hurry. I searched for what seemed like 30 minutes, slowly going up and down the tower 2 or 3 times, looking carefully at every beam and anything metallic, but this one had me beaten. I'll definitely be returning... Thanks for the hunt!

I thought this was going to be a tough find but I did a quick look over the structure and soon had the cache in my hands signed it and then spent longer trying to get my fat fingers to roll it small enough to get it back in the nano.

With help from BrentonandScooby very tricky spot and tiny cache. Very clever hiding spot.
Travelling around Australia and staying a few days at Mt Franklin.
We headed into the freezing cold with a plan to attempt many walking trails.
This one was a park n grab. On arrival there was a 'workers' car there but he seemed to be having a break reading the paper and paid us no attention.
The weather was pretty cold, we saw rain hail and sleet! Wow a day to remember.

Was nice to get out and about with Leetalicious and the dogs for a tour of Daylesford on a beaut Winter's day. After a stroll around the market and a few local caches, we headed to this great little town where we were really lucky in feeling/finding this in the first place I looked. Thanks for showing us this spot cheekymonkey7, terrific views all round, and even a lock of love up there as well.
Nice and easy for us we even helped some other geocatchers... Nice day... Good luck all!!!
Great location and fantastic view. Wouldn't have stopped here if not for the cache. Thanks for getting us to stop.
Visited this cache on my way to Daylesford. Parked and given it was cold and windy, I had the place to myself. Unfortunately despite my searching up and down this tower, no cache showed itself. I must have twisted every bolt on the top 2/3 of the tower. In the end, some hikers came by so I left. Next time...

Catching up on old logs, after finding our original GPSr !! Had a ball in the area today, as we had never cached here before. Had no trouble with the hide either. TFTC cheekymonkey7
The cache took a bit of searching. Had to stop twice for muggles. The first lot didn't get out of the car. I had been up top twice and back down again before I finally spotted the cache. As is usually the case I was about to give up.
Found quickly - and on Valentines day
Geohubby had no idea this lookout existed, so was happy to have a look.

Our only DNF on our trip to Daylesford. When we drove up, we had the place to ourselves and commenced a search - me from below, bear-cacher from above. Almost the moment we'd divided the search, we heard another engine approaching and muggles appeared. Bear-cacher went for the ascent and I pretended to be studying the architecture until the muggles left at which time we resumed our intense searching. Sadly we came up with nothing despite many scalings of the stairs and a climbing effort of the tower itself. Thanks anyway cheekymonkey7, too well hidden for us.
I'm not very good on steps or heights like this so had a nervous look without success. I did manage to gain enough altitude to see what could be seen through the trees from the top before thankfully gaining the ground thanks for the experience cheekymonkey7
Found in the dark! Not that bad. Tftc. The view and bird calls at dusk were good. No Muggles to worry about.
Very good hide. In fact so good we could not find it. I'll come later with Mrs Drouirooboy. She will find it.
Nobody around so we could search at our leisure but luckily the cache was revealed quite quickly. Nice day to be up here but the views were mostly blocked by the trees sadly.
Thanks cheekymonkey7

Third find on a warm windy day out caching with geobuddy BJ. He had to stay in the geowagon for this one - he's not really good at stairs! TNLN. TFTC cheekymonkey7
Geo - I love. Nanno - I don't t think so!. I walked around and up and down and was about to pass on this when with just one last look and the GPS settled zi spied the little devil.
Thanks for the caches nad the views from up there cheekymonkey7

No-one taking the view in today due to the cold windy conditions so plenty of time to look. As luck would have it found it fairly quickly, and by touch rather than sight. As usual for micros it took me just as long to get the log sheet out, signed and back into the container.
Thanks for the cache with a good view cheekymonkey

After our first attempt and DNF we braved the cold icy wind and rain to round this puppy up. Thanks to the Easter Bunnies for heading us in the right direction as so much metal and so small of a nano. Yes interesting colour. TFTC cheekymonkey7 and got a fav from us for the view and the hide.
After being challenged by Sam Gamgee to get this cache, we arrived only to find a number of cars were quite happily parked near GZ and not in a hurry to move. We did a casual reconnaissance run but had no luck. After some pondering in the car we were able to divide and conquer and the cache was soon in hand. Surprised it wasn't black! TFTC
More good luck than good management I found it on the first try, almost instantly and I wasn't really looking as it doesn't show up on the intro app. But d'oh, didn't sign the log (thought the cache was too small for one). Did take a photo if anyone wants proof (or you can tell me I found the wrong thing). Have to sign next time I'm in Hepburn. Found 1052 on Thursday 19 Jun 14.

After searching High and Low, we had the little cache in our hands but we spent more time trying to get the log out then actually finding it..... TFTC
Love a good geo nano, and of course took ages to locate. Great views and fascinating piece of engineering. Then when about to log dropped it, oops. Lucky it was magnetic because it fell over the edge only to catch onto the structure before plummeting into the abyss. Phew, next geocacher ought to be more careful than me with this fiddly hide, so be warned! TFTC cheekymonkey7.
Pure evil I tell you, EVIL!!! But the vigilance and faith quickly overcame. I usually hate this kind but this was well played and deserves a favorite. Thanks for the fun.
Grate little hide, with a tougher inspection had it within a few minutes it was a groovy little tower too
Took us about three passes up and down the structure for us to locate this little sucker. SL. This is find number 200 for the Mainebirds! TFTC.
What a head scratcher. We spent about 20 minutes climbing over this structure trying to find this one. No luck today. We will be back for another go one day.
No luck today. So much metal and so small of a nano. We will have to return at a later date. View from tower was great. TFTC even if we have not got this one yet!
We searched and searched but no luck! Good exercise walking up and down the tower tho
This one took us a fair while to find and we nearly gave up. Two lots of muggles came to enjoy the view while we were there. The view was very nice. Thanks cheekymonkey7. A good hide.
FIRST TO FIND!! Equal FTF with maz3480! thanks for bringing us here, lovely view, found it fairly quickly, love this part of the state thanks for the cache cheekymonkey7!
We were having a leisurely café lunch in Hepburn today so it was not much of a detour to this tower, which I have not seen before. I used a fairly methodical approach and found the cache much quicker than I expected.
Thanks cheekymonkey7
Thanks cheekymonkey7
I wasn't that keen to stop for a cache but it didn't take long and the view from up here above the treeline was very impressive.
