Parks Victoria are reclaiming some the golf course land & the cache will then inaccessible.
Je profite de ce moment de détente pour faire une série de cache autour de Olinda
Pleasingly the parents found this one. One geokid fell from a particular tree but fortunately landed on his funny bone and nothing was too serious. We did think we had across a Hobbit movie theatre with the natural seating located nearby.

10403 and 18th of 19 found today.
A very very nice hide. I had to eliminate one plane before finally spotting the hiding spot. Like this style of hide (when I spot them)
Thanks for the cache Mincka and the airy.

A quick and easy find while we were in the area today filling some holes in our 10 km zone. I have had this series on my to do list for well over a year, and today I finally got off my backside and got to work. It was a beautiful day for a stroll around Olinda, and the views were excellent. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
With 2peasinapod2012 we did this Series7, with an early start before it got to hot.
Thanks Minka
Thanks Minka
Found with Gis+Ger on this rather warm morning, but planned to do all on this golf course.

Find #1047
This was a surprisingly quick find at GZ though I did take an overly direct route here and rather scratched myself to pieces. I had a bit of trouble with the replacement after signing the log... I had to use a few implements lying on the floor nearby to help me out. Thank goodness no one else was around... it would have been an interesting sight! I'm loving the golfing clues... TFTC!

Nice easy find. Not so easy for my shortness to retrieve and replace! Lovely spot and a nice day for it too. Tftc!
Indeed a beautiful spot and great find! Swapped a fun trinket, now to put it back! TFTC
Looking in the wrong tree to start with. Then stuck my face in a spider web. Ugh! What a great hide! Lovely spot here. Glad we came.
After walking around in circles a few times we found the spot and quickly located the find. We also found a golf ball and then a toy dinosaur lying nearby so we popped him inside. Thank you
Found with tassie expat while exploring this beautiful area. Thanks for placing these caches. The rhodos were out too.
Frmen1 and I decided to target this area in the drizzle. A quick find with already saturated shoes. Loved looking at the beautifully coloured rhododendrons. TFTC
#1958 This was the first of 9 we found here today. Didn't attempt all of them as our aging bones got a bit tired from all the up & down walking - a reminder of days long long ago playing golf here. We didn't know the course was now disused. Wonderful views still of course - an added bonus to the caching. Thanks for the series Mincka.
Erin & I, decided to take our little puppy for a walk, why not grab some caches ))) TFTF
Out with waffkes, ssliver and bajayo. Fun in the Dandenong sun doing this series of caches by Mincka. Thanks for the series!
I needed to get my kids out of the house and into the beautiful spring sunshine today on the school holidays before they drove me crazy. The kids spotted this one but took a bit of getting. Signed logs and it took a little longer to return. Thanks for the cache series Mincka.
A cache outing with Spiffy- and GT02 was originally planned for some ladder climbing caches near Berwick but the rain put doubt over being able to do what we wanted so up the mountain we went. Ooo that looks prickley. But ended up not being too bad as GT02 spotted it from outside. Thanks Mincka for the cache.
It had been a little while since Fleabag-, GT02 and I had gone for a caching so today was the day and the weather was magnificent so we headed up into the Dandenongs after lunch around Olinda for a few hours and explored the area including the whole of the abandoned golf course which was interesting to walk around.
Continuing our walk around here the remaining finds we found fairly easily and it finished off a really nice walk.
Thanks Mincka for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

First one in the series I found, easy find. Container and contents felt a bit damp.
Lots of dogs and their people around, but not right nearby, fortunately.

This is indeed one I spied, but didn't retrieve, when I felt my carpark loitering was attracting too much attention. A fairly straightforward affair, knocked off with the Ruverbug Jam duo. Thanks Mincka!
So as you can tell from this log we went to the left when leaving the 19th hole. Bend Sinister had actually spied this earlier on when he went for a stroll before we arrived. Clever man he is. With the three year old happily snuggled in a carrier on my back we moved on to the next cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I've been wanting to come and do this series for a while now, after having to drive past it once before and seeing all the caches on the GPS as I went by. It is International Geocaching Day so Stormgirl13, the geodogs and I decided to go for a "walk" and muggle hubby came along for the ride (and the actual walk). Hubby kept walking with one dog and we detoured with the other to search for this one. It was a nice quick find and we soon headed off to find the next one. Thanks for bringing us here
Continuing our walk around the park with the entire clan + dog.
Almost done! TFTC Mincka.

Trip around the golf course with Gunks. All new ones for me. He had all except the recent additions. Tftc
Hard to get a swing at this one. I think I'd take a drop penalty.
Thanks Mincka.
Chiefton!!!
Thanks Mincka.
Chiefton!!!
This required some manoeuvring and climbing, obviously the person before me was significantly taller than I am!
Easy peasy great clue though . Knocked ball down fareway onto the next . Tftc and a great walk .
The long trudge up the hill, we stopped and dog stopped too, as we continued the walk up the dog thought we had finished for the day and just sat there, thanks for the cache here
A nice brisk autumn day for a hunt... And not Easter eggs! Thanks for the hunt! Took geocoin too.
Found with itsahoughthing and friends. A quick find for this one in the series, thanks!
Today we thought that we would take the geo-dog up into the hills to get some exercise and at the same time grab a few caches. It was quite misty but still a lovely day for wandering around the old Olinda Golf Course. A quick find. TFTC.
Ugh. This one had us totally stumped. Looked and looked but found no cache. I hate it when that happens.
A new cache is in place as the original appears to have gone missing. Still a small with room for small swaps.
A BASE found it - Happy Aus Day, and what a lovely day too for this MYM catch-up!
TFTC! Great spot. Good views. People picnicking nearby. Tried to be discreet. Added a storm fly dragon:-))))
On a mini getaway in the Dandenongs with jitterj. Out for a walk on a beautiful day. Tftc. No sign of the trackable.
Found while having a getaway in the dandenongs with sezzaprice. Great caching weather and great spot. Tftc
Moving off onto the golf course, we reached GZ reasonably easily (compared to the grass-bashing we had to do for later holes!) and took a few minutes looking for the cache. Thanks again!
#1693 Not to dissimilar to spraying a golf ball into the treeline off the tee, we had a bit of trouble locating this one but after a few rotations of gz we spotted the cheeky hide - thanks again Mincka.
The weather looked promising today, so myself and Mudbrick headed out to Dandy ranges, rain, hail or shine. Sun was out most of the day and it was warm and humid amongst the mountain ashes and gigantic ferns. A great day all up and love this area!
A nice walk around this area and great views. Thanks for taking me here - enjoyed the wander round.

Found on a caching run with Jacko83, very scenic, a nice little series. Thank you Mincka for the cache.
Beautiful day. Had a picnic amongst the blooming azaleas and rhododendrons next door then made our way around this series. Geokids had fun trying to retrieve this one

A leisurely afternoon walk with some great views. Remained careful of dog-walking muggles. TFTC

Beautiful area and a great little hilly walk across the grassy fields that once was a golf course....

Off to the Dandenong's with Howjen567. Cleaned up several mysteries we have been sitting on for a while, and did a lot of lovely walks in the parks.
I suspect a chainsaw might be more useful to get a ball out of this spot!
I didn't see any TB's in the caches today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Log is completely water logged. And bag drenched but we managed to leave our mark. This was My 200th cache. Tftc.
4evatinks and I set out today around the golf course and this cache was the first in the series. There had been considerable amount of rain last night and the wet grass meant our shoes were soaked... not particularly comfortable on a cold morning like today. Frequent muggles and dogs were around the grounds too. We approached GZ and spotted this cache straight away. Unfortunately there was no camo around it and it stuck out like a sore thumb. The logbook was soaked and needs attention. We were just able to made a mark on it. TFTC!
Woops got my logs mixed up.. but still my 200th and very exposed and water logged log . Tftc
