Very inhospitable terrain with the whole area covered in blackberries- sorry but you can have this one!!
i came. i looked.i dnf. i was using my phone, i don't know if using my gps was going to make any difference.
A DNF for me. Lots of options, difficult terrain, poor sat lock. This one got the better of me today I'm afraid. Yes I did get a bit wet. lol
Wasn't really sure where we should be looking but stumbled about in the general vicinity of the GZ for 20mins or so but couldn't find anything promising, so gave up.
I guess there has been a bucket load of water through here. The area was "clean" - so clean I could not see a cache.
Thanks to Megatrick and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] I will return.
Out with Mattycat and Sebastbat and along with a newbie, after a walk on the trails of Cleland a few easier caches were the way to finish of the day and this was another of the Basket range series that was soon found in fading light, lucky the creek was much higher TFTC Megatrick
Back with Sebastbat and Mr Froghoppin.
Tonight Mr Frog jumped the pond and scored!

Caching today with Purrfect Di.
Got to the cache nice and dry with cat like tread
Was a bit exposed, and damp inside, tucked away safely with natural camo.

Found out with GeoGrandma Cherry rose & Geocousins. Great climb. TFTC TNLNSL We found it on 20th April but missed logging it.
Found out with GeoGrandkids A2ZFlav & AFLAV glad of little climbers. TFTC TNLNSL

I was several metres away without any luck. I then read the generous clue which guided me right to where the cache was lying. Terrain rating not far off as I sustained a blood-letting fall on the way to GZ.
Thanks for the cache, Megatrick.
Thanks for the cache, Megatrick.
Out with 3LG for a days caching.
Mick slid across one way and I another.
He managed to locate the cache first.
A slippery crossing but great spot.
FAVOURITE point from me.

Today we headed out with earthlight to go find some caches and get out of the house for a while, certainly a interesting and fun one to do, the bark is starting to loosen up and as it starts peeling off it is going to make the crossing interesting lol. TFTC
Pretty happy that we found this one after almost half a year of no one finding, cool little adventure. Thanks
Didn't find this one. I managed to get down to the source within centremetres of the flowing water. I scrambled around searching in lots of spots but came away empty. Got a bit scratched up and have some claret on my hands to prove it. Thanks Megatrick for the adventure. It just started to rain as I was walking back to the car.
One of a few found while up in the hills on a rather dismal day, weather-wise, after a FTF hunt.
Thanks for the cache Megatrick

Needing a cache for the day I decided I would have a go for this one. The GPS would not settle. It took me over the shorter log bridge along the stream where I found nada. So I read the description again and wandered up to the cache BFE style. After signing the log I saw no raging torrent so took the intended track in, out and back to the car. Thanks Magatrick. Not one for winter or after heavy rain
I thought of completing the remaining Basket Range caches and today was the day. Anticipating more in the future... Water was running in the creek today. Thanks Megatrick.
Our adventure cache of the day .
Just like walking the plank on a pirate ship (except you don't fall off the end) - even Mrs DISK went across . Couldn't imagine walking across here when the water's raging [xx(]. TNLNSL.
Thanks again Megatrick.

What a cool little place and our adventure cache for the day. SO much better than poking around in plain view in front of shops and houses in towns. A nice little cache for another 100 milestone as well (5700th ).
Have a fav point for the fun of the find.

When stopped at the side of the road the journey became clear. Slow and steady and a cache as a reward. No pen? Phew I bought one and don't have to go back without signing. TNLNSL TFTC

Wow, this took a lot of hunting. Gps was sending us all over the place, thank goodness for my nimble footed geohubby. Found with BearyOrganised,Jason. Nicol And His geokid. Sltnln, tftc megatrick
Boy this was challenging. After looking around for a little while had an idea where it was but was glad we had geo son in law with us to do the hard yards while we stood and watched firing directions at him. Found with Mic1981 and her geo hubby, and Jason.Nicol and geo grandson. TFTC TNLNSL
Some tree felling nearby recently, but that is now complete. Cache is still there.
Looked and looked, about 20m from GZ (but satellite reception was obviously shonky), everything matched the hint, but there were lots of fresh cuttings and logs everywhere which hampered things a bit.
Not the first place I looked but then thought this looks like a likely spot. Not to difficult getting to GZ today. TFTC Megatrick
A very challenging retrieval in today's conditions, with the 'ground' wet underfoot and a raging torrent below. Thanks for the cache Megatrick!
It's definitely still there. I checked on Saturday 26th April when introducing a friend to geo-caching.
5m out for me and my dakota. That is pretty good in those conditions.

Mr Tardis went for a Saturday drive and stopped here to grab a new cache. I searched in a couple of wrong places, before thinking about the terrain rating and then I found it quite quickly.
My GPSr had me 20 metres away from the published co-ordinates as other have said. However sat lock here is rather dodgy at best. The hint and terrain rating is all you need to find it.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Megatrick.

With a few spare minutes on a Sunday I thought this nearby new cache was calling me [^]
As it turns out it took me a lot longer to find than I had planned!
GZ was out by about 15-20m but with the description & clues the area to look was straight forward enough.
Must admit though that I eventually called a helpline that confirmed I was looking in the correct spot!

Cheers

Took awhile to find this one, even with the hint.
The hidey had us about 20m from the listed gz, although it was moving around quite a bit!
Nice spot, with the babbling brook flowing well.
Managed a find in our chinese workboots.
Took some fresh co-ords but after recording them the gz was still reasing 10m away. So good luck with future finders!
Dropped my FTF geocoin in too.
TNLNSL
Thanks
