After a few days in Adelaide we are on our way up the Barossa for a few more, caching on the way. Found under the watchful eyes of the alpacas. The log book is damp and turning to mush.
Thanks TomCooper 22 and greetings from New Zealand.

On a girls weekend away at the Barossa to celebrate hevwalkers birthday. A group of us enjoyed stopping off at cellar doors, a chocolate factory, took in a couple of scenic look outs and threw in a spot of caching along the way.
Visited some lovely places around the back roads and fortunate to have a day of sunshine
Left the 3 muggles of the group at the Gin distillery while hevwalker and I went off to locate several caches
This cache had us searching before we read it was magnetic... it's a good distance out, nearly 35mts according to GPS

I spent the weekend in the Barossa with a group of friends...
3 the group were muggles so dropped them at the nearby Gin distillery...
LiB and I collected the 4 nearby caches before picking them up...
They missed some wonderful views from up the hill...
The cache was about 35m out but with the hint, magnetic, there were not many options...
Found and replaced...

Very clever spot and OMG THE VIEWS AT THE TOO OF THE HILL ARE SO WORTH THE CLIMB UP THE ROAD!!!
Lots of tumbleweed Where my GPS said to go, but after looking at the description again I saw that it was a magnetic, Hmm only one obvious place it could be, GPS was a long way out.
Thanks for bringing me out this way & thank you for the cache.

While caching in the Barossa today we stopped to look for this cache. We started with only the published coordinates and spent twenty minutes searching through feet thick tumble weed at GZ without any luck so we moved on.
While eating lunch we checked the webpage reading both the hint and previous logs. We were surprised to note that from its published date in 2014 finders have been mentioning that the coordinates were out by 30m or more but the coordinates have not been changed.
Back we went and sure enough there was the container 36m from the published coordinates. It has become separated from its lid and consiquently the log will be in danger of getting wet when rain eventually arrives.
We took a number of readings with our average being S34 28.930 E138 55.867. Time for the CO to update the published coordinates.
Thanks for the cache TomCooper22. The views from this spot are well worth the visit. We do hope you are able to update the coordinates soon.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged and the coordinates need updating.
Coordinates are way out. Found after backtracking a bit. Lots of tumble weed about today.
Thank you TomCooper22 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out with Aussie M & M on a caching adventure. We were targetting a few older ones and those with big favourite points but of course you have to grab a few others while passing.
Thanks to TomCooper22 from mogni

Out geocaching with woolwood9 today, enjoyed getting some more containers found.
Soon located this one, thanks for putting this cache out.
Wouldn't have found it without the logs stating the co-ords were very far out.

With a crazy gps read the logs. Suggest that reading description is quicker. Soon found. found.
This was one of quite a few found on a traditional hunt starting in Tanunda, then over to Freeling and down towards Gawler.
Had read logs so knew co-ords were way out. Hint in description really narrowed it down so was a quick find.
Have included my take on some better co-ords.

Hmm...long way from coordinates but after knowing that from previous logs it became a relatively quick find. Tftc.
Found at 2:18 PM GAFF2.
Hmmm - nice memories for you, but you had better get a better GPSr or check the co-ords that you entered in the cache page, because they are 33 metres out!
Thanks TomCooper22.

We bought the Barossa Butcher, Baker, Winemaker trail and paired it with geocaching for one of the best days out we have had in ages. Getting caches we have missed before, new caches, local produce, enjoying a picnic and wine. The family all tired now but we cant wait to do it again. TFTC.
An easy find despite being 34 metres off by my GPSr. Just remember this cache is on the ground, where it was found but it is magnetic.... So magnetic is the key. TFTC.
Was being pointed into the middle of a paddock didn't think this was right so we read the previous logs and soon located the cache.... TFTC
The GPS had me over the fence and didn't look promising. Then I read the last finder's log and found he had repositioned in a convenient spot. Did a bit of projection, and I arrived... oh there it is!
It in an easy to find location at the moment. Will it stay there? That's the question.
Thanks for the cache, TomCooper22

Talk about cache creep! I don't know what the original coordinates were sending me towards, but I found it on the way back from Ironstone up the hill. The magnet is not very strong, so I left the cache perched on the post.
If the track is a one way, why is there a zebra stripe black and white sign facing up the hill? Hmmm.
Anyway, when I got back to the car, Ironstone was 164 m away and Maranaga Memories was 40 m away, so someone has bent the 1/10th of a mile rule somehow.

[259] This one took us quite a long time! We were originally looking around the area inside the fence … I thought for sure it was one of those 'fake screw bolt' caches … Nope! After reading the logs and realising the co-ord's had been updated, GeoBucky soon had the cache signed, resealed and hidden. Thanks for the cache TomCooper22!
After going onto someone's farm I realised the coordinates were not exactly accurate. Read a few ifs and quickly realised where I should have been. Hardest part was getting the cattle gate shut. Found with Happy Jackie on our Barossa visit.
Out with Mattycat with the sun set we searched with torchlight to no avail, read some logs saying cache was up to 30m out but noticed richlink had posted better coordinates and we soon had the cache in hand, CO needs to update coordinates these worked for us

Off caching around the Barossa with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin.
Was in the obvious spot quite some distance from coords.
May need checking

The coords are a long way off for this one, as mentioned about 30 meters towards the start of the road. I was nearly going to log a DNF, then read previous logs, and realised the clue only fitted one spot. Cache was then found and signed. TFTC
Touring around the Barossa and this cache seemed like a nice option for a park and grab. I had a search around the GZ for a short while before i found the prize. SL TSLS TFTC!
Our last full day in the Barossa so we headed out to grab as many finds as we could. Took all the back country lanes - our type of caching. Co-ords are 33 mts out. Should be 928 & 866. Thanks TomCooper22
The last day of our SA caching holiday with richlink dawns and we are off to places a bit farther a field in a quest to grab as many smilies as we can in the time we have left. Thanks for your cache TomCooper22, I think the satellites were playing with us because we had to widened our search zone some 30m to make the find.
Grabbed this one after a coffee at Tanunda - out and about exploring the Barossa with CAD - cache by cache! Enjoying our year off traveling and having Australia as our backyard! Made friends with the locals! T4TC:)

Love caches that are put out by owner to remember great places and times.
Found with The X-Trailers.
TFTC and a fav point.

We didn't have any trouble finding this one and didn't even need to refer to the GPSr or put in the "new" co-ords. After parking the car, a scan of the area had us heading straight to the likely spot and a quick find, sign and replace was the order of the day. TFTC
Hard to believe that in nearly 2 years since publishing, that only one finder has posted beyter coords till now, even though at least have actually mention the coords being out by up to 40m!!!
Needs to be fixed...
Needs to be fixed...
We also found this one a long way from the listed GZ!
See our coords...
If not for previous logs, we would not have found it...
Definitely a HINT of 'magnetic' is warranted until the cache coords are updated!

Today I was on the way with my car, after doing some exercise with the bike yesterday.
This was a quick find.
The coordinate where a bit off, but thanks to the hint no problem to find.

Dr Owl, RideTheGeoWalrus and I (minus Sushilord, who was a last minute no show) went caching today, in Harry.
I managed 15 and since I forgot to fuel up at lunchtime, we had a mad dash to Blanchetonn towards the end of the day before turning for home.
A fun day though, with some rain, some great views and some interesting caches
Thankfully, previous logs and spoiler pics made this a much quicker find than it would otherwise have been.

Owl was out on an expedition to Kapunda with Locuscache and RidetheGeoWalrus. They never got there, being too distracted by little green boxes on the way. Like others, found the coordinates to be way off and only the clue and logs got them to the cache. Took new coordinates, which might prove useful to others: S34 28.927 E138 55.865.
Plans were afoot to help sushilord to replace one of his hides up near Clare way with Doctor Owl and make a day of it, but sadly the weather ensured this was not going to be a thing. Instead the good Doctor and I were joined by locus cache for a northern adventure.
Coords were a fair way out for us on this one, but with some hints from the logs we managed to make a find.
This was find number 3 of 39 for the night for me. TFTC TomCooper22!

Today we travelled to Tanunda, Nuriootpa & returning to Greenock.
A good varieties of caches found as we drove through the many vineyards.
The co-ords were about 35m off today so I have added a spoiler hint Zebra
Thanks for placing this cache TomCooper22

If it wasn't for the magnetic clue would of been looking for a while as coordinates were off approximately 10 meters, but got it in the end.
We went to marananga primary school too!! Pretty exclusive little club, wonder if we were in the same class
A beautiful day and after visiting the area to plan for the upcoming 15 years of caching event (GC50486) and being rained out on the way home came back for a few finds today.
Had fun driving around the barossa today.
1135 hrs 5th find
My this one sure had bad co-ords. Thanks to previous logs I soon found it.
I think a reviewer log is coming soon.

Tftc didn't want to go in a private property but after reading previous comm i found the obvious cache
Coordinates were a long way out but Geocache Description helped me find it.
