Took my 8yr old son to find this one after his last soccer game for the season. I read him the cache description and got a little teary when he asked me to explain what alzheimers was . What a lovely nod to the COs late mother, this space must have been quite special.
replaced cache with a new everything...but not a pencil...so not really everything!
Out and about finding a few caches at night I never usually have time to stop for. This was a quick find once I battled the spider city it was in. Out in the open. Log had dried up and is now one big block of paper. Signed it. TFTC maintenance would be best
Find #: 3,438Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Grey summer morningCache condition: GoodAfter a jog around Baulkham Hills I decided to find a few of the local caches. I parked nearby and walked across to GZ. It felt a bit exposed, but nobody seemed to be looking out so I was able to make the find without any issues - TNLNSL TFTC
Late afternoon stop somewhere over here. Got CIH, although the log and contents remain soaked. Cache might need some TLC to dry out by CO. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck, Pittiplatsch and Corona Express Cruise Ship in tow
#6821- Down from the mountains to the hills area to do orientation for the new Japanese exchange student under my charge. On the way back I decided to grab a nearby cache- one in a lovely park. Covered in spider webs and getting in and out quickly to avoid those next door dogs, I made a quick find. So far from home, I was surprised that the CO was our local mountains mate. Thanks Alnic39.
A quick find on my way to Windsor this afternoon ... just as well with dogs on both sides barking. A nice way of paying tribute to your Nonna alnic39 ... not the dogs, I mean the cache.
Got to GZ and the dogs start barking, thankfully the cache was out in the open and I spotted it straight away
Our very 1st one! The kids loved it and want to do more! Very funny poem.

Out for the afternoon with Irol22. It was a nice hidden park with a lovely full lemon tree. TFTC
A quick and easy find with Roomar_S. Had a muggle nearby that was making life a little difficult. Scored a nice lemon off the ground under the nearby lemon tree. TFTC
Easy find out in the open. Liked the poem about pasta ....thanks Nonna!! TFTC
Threw us for a loop until we followed the GPS guidance and uncovered it! Left a pasta poem for the next guest in honour of Nonna
I found it because I'm DaNumba#1FOB in Baulkham Hills. Here's my insta: tamatoa_tuisila_13.
Found on my way home from work just after dark.
It had been raining all afternoon which meant that there were no people out and about when i reached the GZ.
With the help of the clue and my head torch i located the cache easily and was soon on my way again.
Thanks.

What a lovely tribute to your mother, alnic39. We have been in a similar situation with our parents. We found the container where expected. A nice park here with not a muggle in sight. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
After looking at various possibilities of hiding a cache and no cache in hand, read hint and quickly find it TFTC
Start of search delayed by a couple of guy's who looked like they could be carers from Nonna's home having a Smoko!
Dogs barking as soon as we got close to GZ, But didn't keep up the noise.
Quick find
Thanks for maintaining the cache

dug around for a bit but couldn’t find that’s okay, will come back another time!
After completing a nearby Adventure Lab "William Thompson Masonic School" I decided to check out some other hidesin the vicinity.
Followed the hint and it was soon CIH in this nice little park. TFTC

What a lovely park.... apart from the two cute dogs watching my every move I didn't find anything. I'll have to go again... lol....
Peaceful spot, parked on Windsor road and walked down.
Cache and logbook were a bit damp, but still managed to sign. Tftc!

Just catching up on logs from the past couple of months. Nice place to hide a cache, loved the waterfall nearby. TFTC!
I missed it initially as it is certainly well covered by natural camo! But after a bit of scrounging around we soon had cache in hand. It's a little dirty and the log is a bit damp but is still signable. This is a nice spot to remember your Nonna tftc!
First cache of three today for the Crazy Cats. Enjoyed the dog peering around the end of the fence to watch what we are up to. Thanks for letting us hang out in Nonna's territory. Cache was a little bit wet so dried it out as best we could.

The last cache of the day. After poking around with a stick the little cache container was found.

Last cache find for the day. I had been out on a gentle cycle around the area and was making my way back home again. This cache has been in my GPSr for simply ages. It's quite close to home. But for the life of me I have always been on some other mission and have not come past here to have a look. So today, when I saw that it would be directly on a path back home (obviously, I had chosen the path, and I had no muggle family members to nag me about all the caching I do), I just knew it was the day to turn this one into a yellow smiley.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect around GZ. My map on my GPSr didn't indicate any particular detail, and coming down the road I was worried it would be in some awkward spot. Fortunately, it was quite the opposite: a lovely little park. And best of all, there was nobody around so I could conduct me search methodically and without any prying eyes.
The first place I checked didn't reveal anything. I was a bit worried because it didn't look like there were any particularly good hiding spots, even though the clue hinted at the type of concealment. So on to the next place, and again a methodical check. That's what it takes. And after a bit of scratching around I saw something that looked like the top of a Systema. Yes, that's what I was after.
I sat on the grass and looked for a spot to sign the log. It seems that many cachers really don't seem to want to write on the same page as a previous cacher, each choosing their own new sheet. And some people also don't realise there is a back side to every page ...
Anyway, I found a spot that's probably slightly out of sync with some of the other logs, but it will at least save the CO from having to replace the log book too frequently.
Nice to have a cache dedicated to family. Growing old is not for sissies!

Down south visiting family for Christmas. I managed to sneak away today to grab some caches, after my first cache was a big fat dnf I went to get some breakfast where I bumped into an old friend also in town visiting family he tagged along for a few finds and did well, beginners luck I think It has been a slow caching month so it was nice to be out Some great caches today and this was one of them! TFTC
Revenge a previous dnf in the dark but I was no where near these coords previously. Oh well
Thanks for the cache

TFTC. I was looking for a glass tube but found the container this time. Thanks for changing the position. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley.
