Unfortunately I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

Sadly a DNF here today. Gave it a good go.

31-Mar-18
31/03/2018 - to 1.00pm - 1st DNF for the day with non-geo son who offered to take me 'hunting' again. The day was warmer than I thought it would be an fortunately we saw no sign of any slithery dangerous animals [:o] Thank goodness for that!
We had found & signed the two other caches along the way & thought we could clean up my map by collecting this one too & the thought of the unloved days was a very good lure.
We hunted high, low, left, right, in there, under there, round there ... Finding device kept doing the 'go there', 'no...there', 'ok...try...over...hmmm...ok...I've decided...that way...' 'nope...I think you need to go back over there, or there, or there, or maybe there...'
After quite some time hunting in the blazing sun I decided that I thought additional info may help so PAF was tried. First friend couldn't remember anything specific as it had been a long time since the find so a second PAF gave some info which turned out to be insufficient to find anything Sad. I found out later after reading previous logs that the container had been changed so my paf's wouldn't have helped anyway. Thanks anyway peeps for attempting to help me.
I am wondering if the cache is still where it should be? I was really hoping a hint would help. Maybe I'll find it ... next time.
We headed back to the car with NGS taking the lead as his phone was almost flat & he needed to do something that required a charged phone. He was a bit disappointed that his phone & the phone reception back at the car was insufficient for his task. Sigh ... we both ended up being empty handed. Thanks for the hunt anyway Big Grin
The days tally was 8 finds, 2 dnfs & many kms (6km Surprised) walked.

After looking around for quite a while I gave up. Didn't want to but I was exhausted after the walk up here and non caching partner is waiting at Mouth of Powlett River Rd and I've a fair way to walk.

I looked around for quite some time for this one, but in the end, gave up. Later in the day, at the dinner event, I spoke with another cacher who, in a group of two or three, also failed to find it. I suspect that the cache has disappeared. It might be worth an owner visit. Thanks for hiding it anyway. Hope it's still there.

DNF with Phetlern on an enjoyable although windy ride around the area. IF the cache is supposed to be on the obvious item, it is definitely not. We also searched other locations to no avail.

After the excitement of the Grand Prix at 'Champion Of The Night', night cache we were still revved up for a bike ride in Eco Reserve this morning, in the good company of Alansee.
Sadly we looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!

Thanks anyway to acmoose for bringing us to this location.

It had been a few weeks since I had been out caching so I set aside today to head out for my next caching adventure. The forecast was for late afternoon showers but the rest of the day was fine and sunny, and this proved to be the case. I had a great day with 31 finds, 1 DNF, and fun bike ride around the desalination plant at Wonthaggi and some challenging dune climbing along Williamson's Beach.

I had the bike with me today so while I was down this way thought I'd tackle the Eco Reserve caches around the desalination plant. It was pretty tough going with a constant strong wind blowing but I really enjoyed riding to each location to find each of the caches. There were some really nice hides and a couple did take me a while to eventually find. I was actually a little surprised at how well the area had been developed with some really nice landscaping and the viewing platform.

Thanks acmoose.

It was a long ride into the wind to this last cache. On the way we came across an echidna with nowhere to hide. Thanks for an enjoyable series acmoose

23/01/2015 Found @ 6:27 pm, Find #4031.

Out and about searching for caches with biggles1024,
We headed back down to an area we have visited a few times before but our work here never seems to end and we will be back again. This time we were after some challenges and some D/T combo's.
This was the last of the Eco series that we had started a while ago and for some reason we kept on missing this one.
Today as it was just a bit further along the trail from where we were, we decided to continue and finally find this one and complete the series. Once we were at GZ, Mark made a instant find, the log was signed and we were one our way.

Thanks to acmoose for placing this cache

Find #1883

I headed out tonight with Stemicmitsar for a run to Wonthaggi to find some recently published challenge caches which would fill squares in our respective D/T grids and also grab whatever else we could along the way.
We had found all the other members of this series during two previous caching runs to Wonthaggi, but for a variety of reasons, hadn't made it to this one. Our quickest and easiest find of the night. Big Grin With the signing of this log, we have now completed the Eco Reserve series.
This has been both interesting and educational. Thank-you for placing it.

Nice easy cache right where you expect it to be. First find for hubby who came for the walk.

Found by Mary & David at 0955. A pleasant ride around from #7. A likely spot at GZ, where the cache was found quickly. Its o-ring has gone, but it should be safe from the weather where it is. Our thanks to acmoose.

Found it thanks for the nice spotted area. Cheers

Found at 11:07 AM GAFF5 in the company of Geoge. Back to finish off the series and to show our friend Barry the plant. Got to GZ and with typical cache blindness we missed it the first pass.
Thanks acmoose.

Again this would have been a great walk on a better day, but by the time we got back to the carpark we were getting very wet and cold. To such an extent that we decided to leave the last one in the series for another day. Thanks acmoose and we will be back to finish the series.

Better the weather beat us than the cache ,found with TheGGGs. If there was a dam here it would be overflowing with this weather. Thanks acmoose FTC.

Cycled to and found this cache with You Can Do It 2.

DGFB33 and I set off on the bikes to get this one. Heavy black clouds were hovering overhead but we got to this one without getting wet. We then set off back towards the Desal Plant and DGFB33 went one way and I the other. He took his bike back to the car and I headed towards the plant, struggling through sheer lack of fitness and riding an unfamiliar bike. TFTC

The paths around Desalination Plant forming this Eco Reserve do give an appreciation of the really good use of the land. Some of the ponds were dry. Dunko and I enjoyed the 8Km ride and collecting the caches along the way. Many thanks to acmoose for the caching fun.

18-May-14
It was late in the afternoon and on the spur of the moment we decided to check out the caches laid around the desalination plant. This reserve was much better than I had expected and is worth a look. All in all Slink1 and myself rode about 8km. Thanks to the CO for the caches. TNLN SL
