Logs
As per the previous note would appear this cache is now MIA owing to a brand new fence line having been erected from just before GZ to further down the road.
Cache appears to be missing. Looks like the landowner about to put up a new fence.
Found with Jamesta18 today, we decided to tackle some caches today in this beautiful weather We had so much fun adventuring down all the dirt roads today, plenty of wildlife out and about today too, lizards, Kangaroos, ducks and dogs lol TFTC
Out on a late afternoon run with Kyliesmiley after a visit to the geo shop. We has a local farm dog try to see what it was like under my car. Not today, crisis averted. I love this area! TFTC
Another day forecast to be a scorcher so we decided to keep local to our accommodation so we could pop back to refresh our drinks when needed. As we had started the Barossa Geoart yesterday, it was decided to have a go at finishing it off today. All caches and a few extras were found using a multitude of tools including ladder and fishing pole and some tree climbing thrown in for good measure. Thanks for the caches.#9145

Im visiting SA for the first time since 2018, here for the Great Leap Forward mega (my first) in Adelaide. Today I was part of the QANVT group finding and signing caches in the Barossa Valley and Gawler area. It was a fantastic day. Tftc
We were running ahead of time (for once) whilst collecting the nearby Barossa geoart, so we decided to add this traditional cache as an additional detour. No problems with this quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks mopoke for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------A trip visiting Adelaide from Brisbane for the [The Great Leap Forward](http://coord.info/GCA1DNA) Mega event!I arrived Wednesday 28/02/2024 evening ready for Leap Day on Thursday, and stayed with family across the weekend, before returning on Monday 4/03/2024 morning. Previous Adelaide trips are spent with family and friends, but targeted geocaching was this trip's objective, and I attempted to target unique cache types (virtuals, EarthCaches, Wherigos and letterbox hybrids), attractive D-T combinations, high Favourite Point caches, and the occasional pre-2003 oldie, acknowledging that I had found many cherished oldies whilst residing in Adelaide. In addition to Mega central in Beverley/Hindmarsh, my trip included visits as north as Clare, to Aldinga and Sellicks Beach to the south, and the Adelaide Hills (Hahndorf, Uraidla) to the west. In true South Australian style, I ticked off the three closest wine areas to Adelaide (Barossa, Clare Valley, and McLaren Vale). Additional highlights included Barossa vineyard meanderings, boating to Adventure Island in Outer Harbor, drain exploration via [The Shadowlands](https://coord.info/GC18AZY), beach walks of Port Willunga and Sellicks Beach, enjoying a beer at Willunga, and experiencing the Fringe Festival in Adelaide's east end.Today, the plan was the completion of the Barossa grapes geoart, and then return back from north-east of Adelaide via targeted D-T caches within the vicinity. After attending the morning's [Meet and Greet Walkerville Memorial Gardens](https://coord.info/GCAJ4H9) event, we proceeded north to join others, and completed the Barossa grapes geoart, before having an early lunch at Tanunda. [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN) and I then took the scenic (geocache) way back to Adelaide via Gawler, One Tree Hill, Golden Grove, Athelstone, and traversing the Black Hill gorges of Gorge Road Montacute Road. Highlights included the 1837 Barossa vineyard, many repurposed (Used 2B) churches, upper Torrens River scenic walks, and enjoying wild blackberries spotted by [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN).Following a pizza dinner refuel and returning [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN) to her vehicle, I called past a couple of Adelaide's south park lands geocaches utilising various TOTTs, before returning back to the family base well into the night.
On a road trip with geo friends from QLD for The Great Leap Year Forward Mega 2024.It was a fun, action-packed day, with many cachers teaming up to gather geo art and various other caches along the trails. Our logs were signed as team QANVT to spare room on the log sheets and to speed up the process among the car pools.A special thank you to all cache owners for placing such good caches and the ongoing maintenance on them. Your efforts are a credit to the geocaching community and gives us many smilie faces on our map ????
I was in the state for the Leap Year Mega in Adelaide and a group of us from Queensland, ACT, New South Wales, NT, Victoria and Tasmania decided to travel to the Barossa to do the Geoarts plus any other caches that we came across. This was one of those. to save space in the logs we signed as QANVT being the acronym of the states and territories represented. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I had organised to meet up with CPwanderer and Gizmo's Gang to find a few caches around Tanunda and Nuriootpa. Most were puzzles that I had solved with a few trads and multis thrown in. After CP's list was completed we went our separate ways and I continued on in the heat getting a few more smilies before heading home. [^]
A nice view from up here and after looking at one post I moved on a little and soon found the cache.
Thanks for the cache doggybom101.

Found by Mary and David at 10:10. The picture postcard perfect view gets a FP. Our thanks to mopoke.
Another Wednesday Wandering for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Lyndoch and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around the Barossa Except for 2 DNF's (Damn the list is growing again) we managed to find all we looked for. We were last moth and yet there were five new puzzles solved to look for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
The other two had already done this should have been a quick drive by for me. But stopping near GZ I made a wrong assumption and left the GPS in the car and the car running with them in it. [^] Off to GZ where I looked at the two obvious structures before sheepishly returning to the car for the GPS that narrowed the search to one obvious structure. [^] A search there and I soon spied the camouflaged container. How did I miss that!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks mopoke for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Stunning views.
Didn't come across the grumpy farmer...but came across a rather off putting, slightly humorous token??
There was no lid found on this cache so returned it to GZ upside down so as to avoid catching water in it.

Great spot, didn’t open it as the lid is very damaged. Look out for the farmer Very Grumpy old Prick
The cache was found, most time was spent trying to open it... My bobby pin came in handy! Didn't sign, as I really couldn't remove the contents from the casing.
Another find in our second roadtrip from the Southern Highlands of NSW to Gawler in SA and back, to represent NSW at the Inline Hockey National Championships. Last year on the same trip I had GeoDaughter in tow - this time GeoSon was along for the ride. Sadly the hockey was not as successful as last year and we returned with no medals, but it was still a great trip. We made 63 finds in total including 8 ECs, 7 virtuals and a lot of high-FP and otherwise notable finds. Nationals moves to QLD next year so I don't know when I will be back in SA next, but thanks to the COs for their caches! This was a nice quick find by GeoSon. Beautiful views over the farms and fields from here. The lid has fallen apart so it is very difficult to open the container now. TFTC!
A nice little detour if the main road. Stopped by on my way to blanchetown, nice and easy find. TFTC
Although caching was not the primary reason for heading to the Barossa today (lunch at Fino was), five caches were picked up along the way. This was a quick find - nice views from here. TFTC
Found easy, but the container lid is very hard to get out, will need something to pry it open.
Thank you for the cache.
