If this is suppose to be a ammo box it is gone. The lock that had it tethered is broken. Will need replacing or archiving Attached is the photo of the broken lock and base of tree where I believed it should have been. Will claim a find if allowed
Went to this site today, there was muggles around the diamond. So I went for the home run. Got to the GZ and all I found was a broken tether lock, no ammo box or cache container.
Saw one of the previous finders mentioned 2 locks. So I knew the broken lock was the tether. I then checked the spoiler photos and was confident that I was at the right location.
I sent a message and photo to the owner and logged a DNF but would log it as a find if allowed. The owner said I could log it.
I was going to give it a heart as it was my 2500th find. However the owner told me because it was being archived I might as well keep it
Thanks for this one.

Arriving close to first base, we realised we’d be joined by a couple of muggles - a maintenance man, and a lady feeding birds right by the first waypoint. We discussed our options, and decided to go for a home run. We found the waypoint easy enough, and we’re surprised by how nice the short walk to GZ was. Opening the cache took a little longer than it should have. Realising we were trying to unlock the wrong lock, we finally got it. Unfortunately, we could not see the log book, so we threw in a few pieces of paper as a temporary option. Unfortunately we’d used all the zip lock bags in our pack yesterday, so hopefully the weather stays dry until CO can replace.
Ran the bases and found the end run. No log book and don’t know what the letters mean.
Nice stroll for a Sunday morning TFTC

We ran the bases to find this one, Ed this one this morning after a early start for a hot air balloon ride, didn’t read previous log so didn’t bring a spare notebook.

Gotcha. Don't know why we did not find the home base when we ran the bases last time, we only missed by metres. We normally chase caches during school hours as this drastically reduces the possible muggle interference. But not today, it was Friday and Fridays are sports days. Unfortunately for us there were four busloads of school children there for sport. This time we made a home run. Found the cache opened it up, see photo, but disappointingly there was no logbook for us to sign. Everything else in the cache was damp.
We now have found all 17 of the in-play caches plus another four archived caches placed by ipswichsearchers. Looking forward to some new ones. Thankyou ipswichsearchers

Misdirect, foul ball, miss, swing and a miss, run to first, then second, then third, and finally......oh but wait there's more! Sadly does need some TLC but the crypt would have been super cool! Thanks for this great multi!
We thought that with school holidays on we would be able to round the bases for this cache. We pulled up to see a group of women having a social hit-out and practice and were hanging around right where we needed to be. We decided on the home run to see what we could accomplish. My daughter found the final coordinates and off we headed.
My son and daughter raced off into the long grass without a second thought. There was no point in looking for an easier way in. They just decided they would make their own geotrail and I mentioned to Mrs Woodyrothwell how proud of the kids I was that they nonchalantly run into danger. She didn't reciprocate.
My son spied the cache and knowing there was a code in the hint, I still let him fumble around with the lock for a while working out what to do. I had to relent after some mild-laughter which wasn't received well. We then discovered the cryptex and without the benefit of rounding the bases wondered what to do. Unfortunately someone must have been heavy-handed with it in the past because it just popped open and our stamp was in the log. We made our way back out alive and continued our crawl into town for some lunch. tftc

Enjoyable multicache. Ran all the bases and went for the home run just for fun.

Oh loved this one. Took us and all 4 geogirls and geo baby around a hour to complete. Found a snake skin near GZ. Thank you CO for placing. All is good with cache. Left some fairy dust.
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now in Ipswich for medical appointments, today we managed to head out before the heat got unbearable, to grab a few close to us caches.
Well this was an adventure and so we got to experience the full thrill of the bases as we failed at Home Run. Alas the bases brought us back to scratching our heads. We gave up after nearly 40mins searching for the final in the heat. Only to be at the next cache and realise we had a message from the CO. ..... Has he got ESP or a spy camera? lol. Nope he was contacting us about another cache but we asked for help here anyway. In fact he kindly arrived at GZ so we returned.
Ahhh now we see that due to some maintenance being needed we were actually 30mts away and not blind after all. lol.
CO is aware and working on a fix as we speak. This is an awesome cache and so much hard work to place and maintain. Definitely a fun point from us and a fave point.

We came across your cache, ipswichsearchers, while clearing up a couple of caches while doing a maintenance run. Last of the smileys to appear now around the main Ipswich area
Enjoyed finding all the mint tins . Bit of long grass on the way in to GZ but we soon had the device exposed and the cache opened. Well done on a nice multi.
Log signed and replaced at 5:15 pm on 9 January 2018. TFTC.

Felt like looking for a few caches, so put my geodog Scruffy in the car and headed to Ipswich for the day.
Had to do the 'Home Run" I'm afraid, there were several buses of school kids playing in the park.
Not a fan of where the cache was, as am not a fan of snakes or the possibility of one being in the area, but soon found the cache and got out of there.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Came late one night and grabbed coords bit didn't grab this one as I only had thongs on so didn't fancy finding in thongs. I came back today and just as well as I needed to go back and collect code word. Worked out the code and eventually had it opened. Tftc and the adventure.
**# 17487** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm winter day for a drive and a cache while at Ipswich.
No muggles around and a good safe hide here.
I had to think a bit at GZ, but not long to sort out the required action.
Thanks for this very good cache ipswichsearchers,

So we were out this way and we needed a multi today. A check of the map and this was our target.
Arrived at the start to run the bases, and we got a strange look for muggles already on the pitch. Worked out why after we finished the cache. There was another car identical to ours had arrived. Maybe they thought that's who we were.
So onto the home run. Grabbed the info and loaded it in. Start heading towards our next target. Stupid me always takes the hard way. Saw a geo-trail and thought this must be the way. After heading back up and staring again, we were soon on the right path. Cache located quick enough and opened. OK, now what?
Seems we missed a piece of vital information. With the new info we were at it aging and soon retrieved the log book.
Log signed and everything replaced as found. Glad we picked this one to do, and a favourite point from me.

Well this was fun. I had a later than expected start today, so I opted for the glory of a home run. All or nothing here.
The tin was easily located and the new WP and info noted. Off to GZ.
I think I turned this in to a T3 or T4. The cloud cover and trees were not helping as I stumbled about in the long grass and trees.
After a few circles I noticed a likely spot. Yay! OH. Locks. What to do with that. Checked the description again. Looked at the hint.
Finally made it to the log book to discover I had lost my pen somewhere in the grass. [B)] Tried looking for it, bit it is still out there somewhere.
Used the semi-functional pen in the cache to write my name.
Great work with this one. (NO surprises there) Another well deserved favourite point. [^]

Ran/walked the bases but could not find 4 tins at any of the bases. One base had two tins the others had only one. In desperation hit a home run ending up looking at a couple of trees surrounded by long grass entangled in barbed wire on what would appear to be private property.
No clues for the cryptex and no cache.

Third time lucky yippee! Today I ran the bases and hit a home run. Collected clues & waypoints and armed with all the required info found the cache easily , helped I'd been there yesterday. With clues in hand and calm now the horror of prickles behind me, cryptex was quickly opened & name left. Many thanks to ipswichsearcher for his assistance and reassurance.
Lesson learnt, take my time, back myself, if panicking or agitated STOP and come back another time. TFTF

Epic, fun, hard, challenging, a find but not a find.
I ran out of time yesterday to complete after thinking I had run the bases. Today I mistakenly thought I'd follow home run coords to GZ log find & be done. Should have realised when I needed to phone a friend I'd missed a step.
Thanks to video chat & determination cache was found, padlock opened, container prized open, cryptex code NO!
Photo taken but log not signed.
I went back & ran 3rd base but not time for the rest, logging as find but will run the other bases for code to sign at later date.

There was some practice going on at the nearest diamond so I opted for the Home Run option.
I found that and headed for home base. I took a detour past the rushing water to check it out and then soon found the cache. Now it was time to read the description in full and I soon had it open. I think I have seen a previous incarnation of this item at a previous ipswichsearchers cache. Further information was required so I had to return to the previous waypoint to get that information and return to win the match.
An ambulance arrived at the diamond as I was leaving. Hope there was no serious accident.
Thanks ipswichsearchers I liked that one.

TFTC... Almost freaked out by the coded log but a noise overhead reminded me of the word to use. Been a while to get back to this one, last time muggled by nearby construction work.
This was a lot of fun. We got around a couple of bases before being muggled out. So we then hit a home run. Got the cache open but the fun didn't end there. Another puzzle to crack to get to the logbook.
What a great cache! Please have a Favourite Pt from us.
Thanks for another beaut cache ipswichsearchers.

Found with Pobblebonk. TFTC. Had a lot of fun doing this one. My favourite.
Completed, found and signed the log. Lots of muggles about so had to be super stealthy but totally enjoyed it - everyone has to do this one! So much fun! Thank you, IpswichSearchers!
That was so much fun! We were fortunate to have very few muggles and even managed to do this with 6 kids in tow! We all LOVED this, especially getting into the log TFTC! Swapped a few treasures out before hiding it again. Xx
The three week long Endeavour Rally started near the centre of Ipswich this morning. After chasing an early FTF, I was a bit late to see off bromance buddy, Swellerfungus on his rally. However, I belatedly caught up with SeffnJarah and we spent the morning chasing a few local Ipswich caches, including this fun multi..
Softball is obviously not our forte. We seemingly only just managed to steal the bases with a full count ever time. Once at GZ, we hit a home run, only after scratching our heads for a minute or two trying to unravel the last step.
Nicely constructed multi, even though I would consider it more a puzzle. Many thanks, ipswichsearchers. I appreciate the effort that has gone into this, certainly worthy of a crooked favourite.

I was in Ipswich bright and early this morning to wave off Swellerfungus as he departed on his Endeavour Rally adventure. Crookedpete decided chasing an FTF was far more important than seeing off his alleged friend and so missed the actual send off. Eventually he arrived and we headed out to grab some caches in the local area.
Well it was no home run here today with flyballs, fouls, swing and misses galore as we gradulally worked our way round the bases. Plenty of evidence of the heavy rain yesterday but managed to keep our feet dry in the process. The final was found safe and sound, and although we had collected the required information, a bit of thought was required before we gained final access to the container. A well planned cache. TFTC

Unfortunately for us we had to the "straight" to home base. There was a man on a large mower style tractor, another person on a smaller ride on and another on a whipper snipper.
We arrived at GZ and looked in despair at the padlock, it did not take us long to find the hidden information. Once the cache was opened we quickly realised that we had neglected to collect one very important piece of information. Hubby went to find it while I sat there and played. By the time he returned I had managed to feel my way to the solutions. SL TFTC

This cache was the first cache for the day, with OrionJ and Nurseyjulie. I was hoping that as it was still school holidays, there would not be a game. I was disappointed. So we set off to the alternate coordinates, where the info was quickly gathered. Off to the final. OrionJ located the cache and had it open once he figured out what he needed to do. (We had negelected to retrieve all the information from the previous waypoint...oooops!) Our names were added to the log and the cache returned to its hiding place
This was the first stop and meetup point for today with Selvagirls and Nurseyjulie.
As we all arrived it was soon realised that running the bases was not going to happen and we had to hit the home run. However seems that the needed information was forgotten at the final stop.
It was not to much of a problem though we soon figured out what was needed and the log was in hand quite soon. Names were added before we replaced all as found and headed back for the cars.

A meet up with Selvagirls and Orionj for a few caches in this area before I had to get to work. The game was on and so the hunt was changed to the alternative co-ords. We soon were able to locate the container and Orionj was able to open the container. TFTC ipswichsearchers
Went early on a Sunday morning so no muggles around. Spent some time finding the first clue, but easy after that. Didn't find the actual cache, though, so will have to try another time
I arrived at the starting point just after 1230 and I had the place to myself... That was for all of about 1 minute as I was quickly joined by a couple and their dogs... Huh, why can't you take them for a run elsewhere I thought...
So, with company, I elected to go for the home run rather than draw any attention to myself by wandering around aimlessly... With the info on hand from the waypoint, I ducked off down a mown path, then shot off into the bush where I quickly located the container... Aha, this looks like it... [^]
Container open, I hit a snag. It seems I needed more info that I gathered... DOH... Luckily, my company were over the far side of the diamond and walking away. I nipped back to the waypoint, gathered the critical piece of info, then returned to take care of the task... With much better luck, I had the log book in hand and added my details.
All done, I reassembled the many bits and pieces, then added the camo back to the container. A very well constructed multi and final container. You'll be getting a reputation if you keep this great work up... A favourite point from me.
Cheers ipswichsearchers.

Mandy (mnance101) and I hit a home run today in the very cold blustery wind! A great find and we loved the cryptix!
Out caching with misssusan79. We decided to do this multi. It was fun to do and I really liked the cache. A favourite from me. TFTC!
It is some time ago now that I first attempted this cache. Unfortunately I was unable to complete it as the weather had played havoc with the cache contents rendering signing the log impossible. Today I was (kind of) in the area, and decided it was time to remedy that DNF. For some reason I had not saved the waypoints, so had the joy of completing this once again. I quickly found GZ, and then had to remember how to open the cache. Thanks to the previous finder I found a solution. I then completed the field puzzle, and was happy to see my previous solution would have worked! Log signed and TB taken. Thanks for fixing this one up. It's a home run for me.
Out and about with Brother Colin
BC was very keen to do this one as he's a fan of tackling a cryptex [^] And it was a fun multi to do We decided to run around the bases and enjoyed finding all the clues, and quite a few red herrings BC is slightly taller than me and thought my inability to reach some of the containers was hilarious! Numbers noted and clues noted, and we eventually took the walk to the final. Along the way the clues were dancing in my head and I shortly had the answer sorted [^]
At GZ BC made the find, and then decided to pick the lock, but had no success. My suggestion: how about we read the hint, mmm??? Oh look at that Numbers plugged in, and he very speedily took hold of the cryptex. Then he realised he didn't know the solution!!! Good thing you brought the words nerd with you then, isn't it?!?!?! The correct answer was applied and we were both very pleased to get our names in the logbook [^] TFTC, ipswichsearchers. A favourite point for this one.

Out for the day with the bf and bff after attending the dawn service at Amberley... we decided on a home run before locating the hide... tftc... A very well crafted adventure...
Today we explored Ipswih and surrounds with Whitewebbs heading towards Stanthorpe for the Mega using geocaching as a guide.
Love the hide and the final cache, kept us on our toes adding to our favourites!
We hit a home run as the weather up here was too hot for us Tasmanians!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Thoroughly enjoyed doing this multi, even though we chose the home base option as way too warm for us Taswegians today! GZ was surprising, a multi everyone should attempt. A lot of work has gone into the planning and hiding of this cache. Deserves a favourite TFTM

Sorry to say - but maintenance will once again be required on this cache.
Many folks around enjoying their sport, but none noticed as I made my way straight to home base - no problems there. Off to the final GZ and entry gained to the outer shell. Inside was VERY humid, and once the 'device' was attempted to be solved, I found stickers coming off in my hand. Too late...I didn't know where they came from. My humble apologies ISS's but it was all so quick.
Not sure why the container would be that wet inside, as it should indeed be water proof, and the 'moisture packs were still inside.
On one hand I am happy that it finished it, because now I can come back on a day that isn't full of mugggles, and try the whole game!

I was having a nice day off and was caching in the area and thought I'd give this one a try. After arriving at the fields the only people around were work men up at the club house so I decided to tackle the bases. This made the cache a lot more fun than going straight for Home Base. After a couple of foul balls I was soon running for home base and what I thought was a quick end. This was not the case. It turns out I missed something along the way and had to check the clues again. This didn't seem to help and I sat puzzling for quite a while. I was just about to give up when it dawned on me and the prize was revealed. This was a great cache and gets an FP from me. Nice hide and a lot of fun. TFTC.
I wasn't sure where the bases were as baseball is not something that I have ever seen being played. There were multiple fields so I decided to go for the home run through the long grass. I was glad that it wasn't summer. On arriving at ground zero I was very disappointed as the cache (outer container?) was open with nothing at all inside it. There was a scarf and beanie left beside the cache. I signed a piece of paper and placed it inside. I will send a photo to the CO to let them know how I found it. Thanks ipswichsearchers as I'm sure that it was great when all together.
oppsy forgot to say TFTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the best multis I have done!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
We managed to get a home run today. It appears a lot of work went into this cache. TFTC ipswichsearchers
Took a wild swing at this and smashed a home run for the find Very cool cache and obviously quite a bit of work went into it. Gets a favorite point from me very easily. Did note that there is a bike lock attached to the container but no to anything else. Not sure if this is how it is meant to be so thought I'd best mention it. TFTC ipswichsearchers
Dropped off the youngster to his work and had a bit of time to kill. Thought this one sounded good so dropped by hoping there wasn't a game on as I really wanted to do all bases. Thankfully all quiet here this afternoon. As usual, I did things the hard way and had to locate all all hides at all bases. However once I got the pattern right, it was easy and good fun. Off to the home base and again I took the difficult path through long grass and along slopes muddy from recent rains. Got to GZ and there it was. Now for the fun part. Had the clues and scratched my head and looked for a solution for quite a while. In fact was about to give up when the light bulb came on and I had the answer. Log signed and cache hidden. Saw a nice easy path out, why didn't I see that before? Thanks ipswichsearchers, only one favourite point left but this one definitely deserves it.
