We went for a walk today after work to check this and unfortunately it has gone missing again. Will look at what we can do to replace this cache or hide another one in a different place.
Absolutely gutted this was supposed to be my. Special 500th find but not today ....co ords all good and found some nylon tied to a tree at the GZ but no reward ....so moved on to find another disappointing not to find ...I think some maintenance maybe required
Appears to have been nicked again.. Found where it obviously would have been due to clue..
Cache container replaced and awaiting the next finders. Please be stealthy as this area can be quite busy at this time of year!
Checked this after work today and sadly it has gone walkabout. Will replace as soon as we are able.
Had a decent look but no luck, decided to get some help from the clue but too no avail.
Maybe next time.

After chilling at the beach we took the long walk to this beautiful island and searched for the container. Really a wonderful place!

Too hard to search properly and stop my young kids falling off the cliff! Will come back another time!
Found this a while ago must have forgot to log it. Took a fair bit of searching. Hmmm dunno about the Karo tree
YAY! An easy find at the end of a frustrating day with almost a 50% DNF or missing count. TFTC
Took quite a while to find. I should have taken more notice of the clues.
Sneaky spot, once found.
Managed to sneak some nesting gulls while there.
Thanks.

Great cache, great place. Found this in the dark after exploring the magic of Moturiki. As we say in France MPLC
High Muggle area ! We looked for about 10 mins but soon realised we had the wrong ''track'' cache was soon in hand, left a trade, took nothing. Amazing views !!! As we were leaving spotted some fellow geocaches coming up the track muttering '' it's 98 meters to go'''lol so easy to spot !! Awesome stuff
Well after spending the morning SCUBA diving around Leisure Island, and seeing a 2m sting ray which made me jump. Thought id go over land and find the cache, admittedly I did get vertigo whilst finding this one not really one for any kind of hight or cliff face. But great view once I was brave enough to look. TFTC
Bit of searching - located and signed log on a bueatiful day - out with friends for a visit and some caches
Decided to do a few caches this afternoon as time running out before my geomate goes back to the islands. This is a lovely spot. TFTC
My geomate was smart and found it quickly. Clever cache dropped a TB. Cheers from Polynesia nzkeko
Walking on the beach at sunset shortly after our arrival for the weekend. Been to this inlet several times over the years, most times finding a cache, sometimes not, but overall the hides never seem to last long and get archived. This one gives me the impression it will be here a while, well done and TFTC.
Staying in Mount Maunganui for the weekend, this was our first cache after a nice walk along the beach. Lovely area. TFTC
Quick find with nephew on a lovely end of winters day. Took tb. A few people about but cache is nicely secluded. Tftc
This was a primo spot for a cache!!! Loved this one... Hide was perfect and able to be retrieved stealthily despite a high presence of muggles as a result of the glorious sunshine! Spotted two stingrays at play in the way back. Awesome TFTC!
Nice stroll to the top in the mist. Nice view, popular place so had to be careful finding this one. Left geocoin. TFTC
After the hike on the Mount I found this with "Lucas is the man" whom I got really hooked for the game Thanks for the cache and another reason to visit the island... Exchanged TBs.
Was able to drop Kiwibaby at his poppas and head down the Mt for work, Got down here about a hour before I started and with some good daylight still left thought I would go for a nice walk up here for a second go at this one, last time I searched was around the time it was missing and just havnt found the right moment to come back up since it was replaced.
All the stars aligned today and hardly any muggles around either which surprised me because it was such a lovely late afternoon. Found the cache pretty fast as I as sure I knew what track to take and got it first pop.
Stayed up here for a bit just soaking in the views and watching the kayakers coming back in. Thanks NZkites for a awesome cache in this stunning location!

This was one of more than fifty Geocaches I found today in the company of HKB and 11hpg11. We signed the logs HI1, an anachronism of our handles to save on log space. We travelled over to the Mount and Papamoa from Hamilton, leaving at the end of the All Black/ South Africa test at about 5am and didn’t roll back into Hamilton until after 8pm. It was a long day, and the weather wasn’t the best but that didn’t stop us from having a great time exploring the area and enjoying the wide variety of high quality hides.
Great location that certainly was in need of a cache. I haven't been here in a long time so thanks for placing the cache and bringing me back. Its a good hide which provides good cover from any muggles which might be lingering about.

Out on a numbers mission with HKCB and Iammrwalker to clear out some of the caches in Tauranga/Papamoa area. We left Hamilton at 5am and had a full day of caches, a few DNFs, a refreshing swim in a pond and a whole lot of laughs. We signed logs as 'HI1' as an acronym for our caching names to save log space. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great variety of caches, puzzles and location
Always a nice spot to come and enjoy the view. Some muggles close by but left the others to sneak away while I enjoyed the surroundings.

Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
Nice walk to the cache, I've never been here before. A couple of muggles at GZ so had to be careful searching. Started off at the wrong spot but after not finding anything expanded the search a bit and found where we should be looking. Location was great as we could duck down out of sight from the nearby muggles. What a neat place.

Came down here with the in laws looking for southern right whales, no such luck on that front but cheeky geocache instead. No pen unfortunately. Took me a little while to find it mind. Good hide
Stunning day out here. Great to be able to hunt for this despite the large number of muggles just behind the trees.
An enjoyable walk from the nearby holiday park where we're staying. A couple of muggles about but the cache was well out of sight. A great spot. TFTC

Nice to come back here and nail this. A challenging find - lots of possibilities, and that drop off is a bit unnerving. Plenty of people out here, someone may have spotted us returning the cache. Hopefully it'll be okay.
15/2/15 DNF
We searched all over the rocks. We read the clue over and over but we still could not find the cache. Then when we were searching a muggle started coming toward us so we abandoned the cache.

If only we had brought are fishing gear, this island seems to be the perfect spot! Easy find with an accurate hint. TFTC
Gutted - but no luck here for us today. The hint was so precise we were very positive when searching around gz, that lasted a while until the light started to fade. The picture Lion Fish had posted renewed our hopes after reading through the logs - but it wasn't happening for us today. Could only assume it may be buried beneath the leaf litter. We'll be back after a few more logs.
Found this on a beautiful day. Great spot for a cache and found fairly quickly. TFTC!
Now this one was tough.
Got to GZ and found two hidden paths. Explored the first but nearly got blown off the island. VERY windy up here today. Couldn't find anything here so went back up to the main area and found the second path.
I saw a tree a little further down but didn't want to go down too far as was worried about the gusts. I retreated for a few minutes and considered leaving. I decided to have a look around the second path again, just out of sheer desperation and I'm glad I did as I found a very sneaky little container.
I'm glad I didn't have to get too close to the edge.
Giving a fav point because of the awesome location and the fact I grabbed it on the brink of failure.

Nice hide, cache is secure and dry. Great views from the point, rather windy today though. 14:30.
Today we have a look for some caches in this area . And this one was one of it. An other great day in new zealand with intrasting caches and amazing views.TFTC
Since I started caching in 2008, this day has ended up as a day with no caches found. Heading over to the Mount from Hastings for the night before continuing on to Auckland in the morning. Pouring down with rain and getting heavier as the day is going on, so not many people here for distraction. Surf is very heavy and the wind was incredible, but there were still 4 dedicated surfers out for some thrills in the huge surf.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Had a pretty good look but wasnt keen to get too close to the edge...and I was wearing jandals!

A new container is in place. It is a small camoed screw top container, and is now tied to the base of the tree so it can't blow away. No need to get close to the edge of the cliff.
Should check logs better before setting off to find caches! Oh well, a nice walk along the island
Checked this today and it seems to be missing. We will see if we can get this sorted and back in action soon.
Nice walk. Just missed cyclone Pam by a couple of days but still plenty surfers around
Beautiful spot. Had to wait for some muggles. Having a 7 year old to explore and find is handy. Tftc
The best weather one could wish for and a very nice day indeed. After a short walk on the peninsula we did the find and logged out visit. Thanks!

Arrived at GZ to see half a dozen tourists. Hmmm ... thought I would play tourist too. Walked around slowly, taking pics with my GPS (as you do). Sussed out where cache could be and slipped down unnoticed. Cool!! Great view looking back over the beach. Cheers.
We forgot our pen. But part of the find was from something 'refreshing. Great spot.
Visiting from Australia, cruising on the Voyager of the Seas. What a great location with stunning views! I arrived at GZ at the same time as some Japanese muggles who proceeded to fill up a memory card taking photos of themselves in various poses for 20 minutes! It gave me time to enjoy the views and watch a Tiger Moth plane flying low along the coast line. As soon as the muggles headed off I had the cache in hand, log out and signed, thanks.
Found this cache while on holiday in NZ, unfortunately my pen didn't work when we arrived on the island, so I took a photo of me holding it as proof!

Went in search of the previous cache last year and just couldn't locate it. Decided to do it today only to discover the challenging one had been archived and a new one was in place. It was archived due to it being mentally challenging, does that make me mentally challenged?!! I would love to know where the original cache was located
TFTC this is one of my all time favourite spots

Easy find thanks to good clues! Very high muggle area especially on a cruise ship day.
This was a nice easy find after a pleasant stroll to the location.
