I didn't really take note of the T rating until I got to GZ I missed the direct approach and ended up crossing a few streams before finding the landmark I was looking for and this cache.
Found after a rough 15 minutes in the bush, also found a trackable and are very excited.
A nice quick grab on the way home, though it was totally exposed. I have added a bit of cover so it's not as visible now.Dropped off a TB too.
Attacked this from the wrong side.
However once here it was a quick and easy find.

Yep, still soggy loggy, the avenue close by is nice, as is the park across the road where we also located a cache.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Has a little slide down the embankment to get to this one but it was a quick easy find. The cache
is in need of a little TLC, as log damp and little ziplock bag has had its day (but sorry no spare ones on us today). TFTC Pink Piggy

What a hike to get down here while running face first into spiderwebs...yuck. perfect spot for cache when you get to gz. thanks Pinkpiggy!
An after-work caching expedition with Geoturtle37.
Accidentally walked through 4 separate spiderwebs as I made my way down to this one. A quick find once at gz.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Pinkpiggy7

*Gembrook Scout Awards Ceremony Adventure #1*
I'm off to an awards ceremony for Scouts Victoria in Gembrook. I don't get to this side of town very often, so *of course* I'm going to pick up a few caches.
Harkaway's memorial is a lovely tribute, and I'm glad you popped a cache here. What I'm not glad about is the amount of trash around the area. Even though I had a timeline, I felt compelled to pick up some of the crap left behind. Sorry I didn't have more time to give it a thorough clean.
Thanks heaps, Pinkpiggy7!

Out with xambo4u we cached in the Harkaway area.
We had to change plans when we discovered the gates to Cardinia Dam were locked, and would stay so for the next 5 weeks while they repaired the dam wall.
Found on the ground. Replaced as per hint with a bit of coverage. Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Out and about with echidna44 for another enjoyable day of caching and chatting. Thought we were up for a bit of a challenge here but like previous finders we found this one on the ground. Signed it off and replaced with some foliage to take and make it keep in place. Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7
Out and about with KmanNZ toady and what a perfect day for caching. After a short walk we found this one lying out in the open we put it back where we thought it went. Thanks for the cache
The 8 year old geokid figured the hint which made it easier. The adult geocachers were thinking too deeply. But thanks and number 2 Aussie find.
To many people are finding our caches in breach of lockdown provisions, disabling until things are open again.
Found this one after attempting and failing to find Jesse Traill in the dark. I'll be back for that when daylight is on my side. This one didn't take long to find, although when I did it was on the ground a few metres from GZ. The log is pretty damp (although still signable) as the ziplock bag is broken. Unfortunately I didn't have one with me. I replaced the cache where the hint told me to
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
We couldn’t find it initially but after stopping and thinking about the clue we found it. Thanks
We had just been walking along the lovely 'Jessie traill trail' and this was too close to ignore.
The cache was found nicely tucked away.
Thanks again Pinkpiggy7.
Chiefton!!!

After attending an event in Berwick I made my way home via a number of relatively local unfound caches. Parking up at the local park, I headed off towards this one. It didn't take too long to find once the GPS settled down. I probably should have trusted my geosenses a bit more though! All in good condition here. TFTC PinkPiggy7
Not where I expected it to be so took a little bit longer but got it in the end. TFTC

On my way from Emerald to Berwick. I did not have the appropriate footwear for this cache but I found it none the less.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7.

Went to harkaway primary school in the 1980s so was fun to visit my old town...thank you!!
The second one today with the grandchildren who live nearby. They were excited. TFTC
Tonight was my only chance to go out caching in quite some time - so even though it was freezing cold, windy and wet, I headed out into the darkness. I parked at the bus stop (noone was waiting for a bus at 9pm on a wild and wet sat night? Weird!) and slipped down the bank to grab the quick find. TFTC!
Short walk from our previous find. Always like visiting these types of memorials. Picked out a likely GZ and after a bit of a scramble the cache was easily found. TFTC
Found your cache today. Weather is nice for outing. Pinkpiggy7, thank you so much for placing it.

Always good to ponder at these memorials and the sacrifice they made. Thanks for putting a cache here. Cache was found without drama and log all signed.

Our lazy day was finally given some impetus with an evening geo-hunt.
Our initial target at the tennis club turned out to have been archived last year. So I really should update my data following 12 months away from the game! Still it was lovely to enjoy the playground with golden beams from the setting sun gently breaking through the foliage.
Emeylo and The Dark Magician then followed me to this cache. We took in some local history and noted the original plantings were established exactly a century ago in 1919.
The cache was retreived smoothly despite Emeylo's inappropriate footwear. You just can't tell some kids, lol!!
Thanks so much, PP7.

Finally found it after the gps sent us with gin every inch of this marshland.

Heading homeward after the fun of the Pre New Year Events in Wonthaggi, Alansee plotted a slight diversion to seek a few jointly unfound caches.
Lucky we weren't the fallen today, it was a tad slippery in the rain.
Satellites today had our GZ 8 metres SSE of where we found the cache.
Thanks to 'Pinkpiggy7' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Easy enough find but wasn't too keen on the location with it being a revegetation area and all. Careful to step lightly.
I noted the "revegetation area" sign as I was leaving.
Sadly the slope was littered with plastic, broken beer bottles and other trash.
Not the most respectful way to honour our fallen.
Lest We Forget.
Thanks for remembering, Pinkpiggy7.

Doing a few caches on the way back home to cheer myself up after finding out from the Berwick Landrover dealer that I need new compressor fitted for the air suspension.
So may towns lost men in that war - especially in the Western District of Vic.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7.

Took a while. GPS kept wanting me to cross the creek, which I did...a few times. Was ready to give up when that which was hinted at was finally spotted.
So what was on the books today..... simple, I was to go out caching and cache on the way to my goal for the day....... Lyrebird Track challenge. But on the way I was keen to grab a couple multis, Earthcaches and interesting D/T's along the way.
It is on a semi-regular basis that I find myself at one of these Remembering the fallen caches. I really didn't think much of it but am only now realizing how many there are. But this was another fairly straightforward cache for the day.

If you go down in the woods tonight your in for a big surprise. If you go down I. The woods tonight you better go in disguise. Well this trip into the woods had me Criss crossing a very boggy creek bed and going in circles but headed for the likely suspect and found the prize. It was no picnic. Tftc
Looking for creatures in th e forest .. they wer hiding but i founf this cache TFTC
Late arvo trip to the area gave me just enough time to wander off and grab this neat little cache. Have driven past so many times predicting where the cache was hidden but until you actually search, you really have no idea. Not anywhere that I had predicted. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams.

In the area doing some shopping at the local Westfield and needing a cache to fill a spot on the calendar. In preparation I had brought my trusty torch but had failed to check if it was fully charged which it wasn’t. I parked my car as close as I could and put my hazard lights on. I walked along the path using only my torch from my phone. As I made my way in to GZ from path I noticed that the area was now rather overgrown. My first thought was that perhaps this was a stupid idea attempting this at night. I quickly pushed that thought aside and continued on pushing branches out of my way. The closer I got the more sense the clue made and that’s when I spotted the cache. Quickly signed the log and bolted back to my car.

Came up to find a few caches today out the back of high density civilisation. Following the track through Jessie Trail Reserve, i crossed the road to follow the avenue of honour before dropping down to the creekfor an easy find. As i approached gz i saw a bush rat scurry through the scrub, cross the creek and disappear into the scrub on the other side. Great piece of history, thanks for bringing me here. Bwbandit
MontsII and I continued our walk to this cache and found it in a nice spot quickly. TFTC Pinkpiggy7
After some bushbashing in the dark and the ever changing gz location according to the phone, eventually spotted it. Tftc
Can remeber when this avenue of honour ws pime trees. Great to see this new trees growing strongly
Found this afternoon while grabbing a few caches in the area with omegaman1971, after a little bit of circling the area we soon came up with the hide. Thanks PinkPiggy7 for the cache.

Out on a Sunday arvo with Happy pants smashing some caches between the rain showers.
With the GPS just not playing ball today, it took a little longer to find this one.
Cheers for the cache

Found it. This month is April as a remember of ANZAC Day is around the corner. Perfect timing for me to seek the cache on this area. Like to walk around with a lovely cool weather. TFTC. ..
Grateful for a quick find as the others had already found this one. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Picked this up while having a few days away with Crusty K9. I wish I'd taken the easy way to gz, but got there eventually. tftc.
after parking around the corner and walking down to the avenue of honor we struggled to find a geotrail to GZ but after giving up on that e made our own trail and soon found ourselves at the cache TFTC
From the memorials alongside the road nanton34 and I bush bashed a few metres to GZ. The hint helped us get this one quite quickly despite spider webs again in our path. tftc
Looks like the council is rejuvenating the Avenue of Honour which is a great idea and the area is looking good.
GPS was saying the cache was on the other side of the creek but ignored it and found it in the obvious place.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7

Ps. Dropped a fish and picked up a flower

Found it! Our final find for today and fittingly its another PP7 cache. By now the drizzle had set in but walking in the rain was quite pleasant after the hot and humid hunts earlier in the day. We parked the good o'l geotruck up at the tennis club and a easy stroll had us where we needed to be. Both our devices were saying it was across the abyss but our highly tuned geosenses knew better and we were soon signing the log on a simple but well hidden cache.
All in all a pretty good day out, not to hard after the madness of Christmas but not to easy that the brain and body stays asleep either...TFTC...

Parked at the little park in King St and went for a stroll around Harkaway. The co-ordinated were pretty good and I didn't have much trouble finding this one. Thanks Pinkpiggy7.
Picked this up as the last of three placed in Harkaway. It was a tad wet and slippery but found it all the same! TFTC
My brother and his family (with whom I'm staying at the moment) were heading down to Rosebud for the day so I commandeered one of the vehicles and headed over to Beaconsfield, Berwick and Harkaway. I was striking out for multis mainly and managed to find 5 plus 1 wherigo and 7 trads.
Tenth stop here. I parked in the carpark of the reserve nearby and walked over and made a quick find thanks to accurate coordinates and hint.
Heard some laughing kookaburra but couldn't see them.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7, cache in good condition

Another of the Remembering the Fallen series found, and a location that I have never been to before. This looks like a charming little place and so close to all the hustle and bustle.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7.

We were out chasing a multi for the souvenir and ended up near this one so we thought we'd have a crack at it. Unfortunately, we came up empty even after a fair bit of tramping around and jumping the "creek" a couple of times. The GPS and phone were all over the place and we searched anything within cooee of the coordinates that matched the hint, but still nothing Maybe next time!
Nice little challenge which I found reasonably easily. Love scrabbling around in the bush. TFTC
Another quick find in a spot that is looking much better for the revegetation project.
This was the fifth cache of the arvo for us - lots of geokids on this one. They had ball. TFTC
GT02 Spiffy- and I headed out to Berwick for the lake series plus a few extras to collect. This cache was a drive by for us. Cache found lying on the ground but I placed it back in the obvious location with some protection to keep it there. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.
Spiffy- Fleabag- and I were out and about collecting caches. This one was a quick driveby for us. TFTC
Out tonight with grumpy gramps 1 on our usual Tuesday night caching whilst he is here on holiday from overseas. Had a pleasant drive around collecting a few cache adding smiley faces. This perfect temperature evening. TFTC
Finally catching up on some logs now that our laptop is home from the computer doctor!
Friday is daycare day... Usually TeamThommo has plans for fantastic adventures to fill my day.. Not today, she is on holidays. I took the opportunity to sign some logs in the area near daycare that The Thommos would have already done. This was one of them :)
Thanks Piggies for placing this cache :)
