One of those times when geosense is better than the GPS. Fast Find. Interesting area. Liked the star on top of the water tower that we drove past. Here with ToucanKB, signing as KATO. Tftc.
TFTC great spot, 2nd time here, was about to give up and found it. A fellow Geo pulled up just as I found it, exchanged hand shake and brief chat. Love seeing others on the road
Found it! Thanks so much - we are on the way to holiday at Hervey Bay. BTW- the notebook was a little bit damp
Raining heavy here, but we still found it Haha. Cool location, love the camp tape Thanks Red and smoothie
Early morning start on day 3 of this caching trip away. Spent the night just outside of Gympie after finishing another leg in the challenge that Im currently working on. This morning I have a bit of time left to work on the next leg.I am rive at ground zero, find a safe way lace to park and then make my way to ground zero. I quickly find the cache, extract the log and make my mark.I return the cache to the hiding spot and then back to the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers

Easy quick find once looking from the correct angle. Retrieving was another matter.
With super long grass all around, it was important to find the geotrack into this one.
TFTC. All good here.

Found with CJDenno. We were travelling to Inskip to camp with some family and we were driving hoping that there would be a cache to be on the side of the road. Thankfully, this cache was a great fit for us, as we didn’t have to make a detour anywhere. The cache was easily spotted, but had a couple of holes in the bottom, most likely from insects.

Thanks for the cache - Hubby’s gift for Mother’s day was to drive me about for a few local caches on my list ️
Came by this spot yesterday after rain, and spotted the cache but declined to attempt a 'find' through long wet grass. However today was sunny and dry, and a quick trudge shouting 'go away snake!' soon gave access to the cache container which has badly deteriorated to very brittle plastic which is easliy crushed and broken. Added to the log and replaced where found. TFTCred&mootie.
Found it, didn't take that long, the stuff in it wasn't good however, it was fun looking for it tho! Mfc!
A long time ago I heard that there was going to be an Australia Day event in Maryborough. It is a long way from home, especially for one day, so I ignored such whisperings. However, earlier in the week Chamad asked if I could make it possible to go up for the weekend. With the little turmoils needing to return to school on Friday, it had to be a whirlwind, very long day trip and I had to work out who was willing to have the turmoils and who could have the geopup. With everything in place, we made it happen from late Wednesday night to late Thursday night.
After the Australia Day event out at the weir, Chamad and I completed a few target caches in Maryborough and then headed to Tin Can Bay to clean out those caches before heading back to Brisbane. A very long, hot day but between these, new ones and ALs, we got around 80 caches in the area.
This was our last last cache for the day (there is usually one more!) It was dark by now and the big spiders were standing out in the torch light. Took us a minute to find the cache but all is good with this one.

So with an upcoming event it Maryborough a plan was hatched to go along. After receiving a phone call asking me to come along, I was very happy to put my support behind this event to see its success. With Triple turmoil a plan was made, kids sorted, dog sorted, clothes sorted, fuel food drinks tick tick tick, ok let’s go. It was then a quick meet up and it was not long before we were on the road, Maryborough here we come.
The 4 o’clock deadline had arrived and we were just leaving Maryborough, right to plan. Now it is a drive to Tin Can Bay for some special caches and whatever else is in town.
We were heading home and there is always time for one more cache, and this was it. A quick find here although I think the spiders were getting ready for a party, oh my there was some big webs in here.
We signed the log and replaced all as found and then it was to the next one. Thanks for the cache, all good here.

A North Queensland road trip of 2.5 weeks had Team Warren (@jesswrigley, 15-month baby and I) spend a Cairns Christmas, followed by a coastal drive back to Brisbane. Departing on 21/12/2022, Dad and I took the expedited drive north via Toowoomba, Roma, Emerald, and Chartered Towers. During our Cairns stay, we visited Green Island, inner Cairns and the lagoon, Port Douglas, and Atherton Tablelands. We then commenced our drive back from 28/12/2022, making stops in Mission Beach, Townsville, Ayr, Airlie Beach, Cape Hillsborough, Mackay, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Seventeen Seventy, Bargara, Bundaberg, Childers, Harvey Bay, Maryborough, Gympie, and Eumundi, returning home on 7/01/2023. Highlights included hiking Walsh Pyramid, visiting Townsville's Museum of Tropical Queensland, seeing the marvels of Capricorn Caves, kayaking Ross Creek, and swimming and frolicking in the many beaches and water playgrounds.
Today, after staying overnight in Gympie, our final day started with Victory Heights parkrun, followed by a stop in Eumundi at the markets for coffee and lunch. We had also planned to call into Noosa, however, with school holidays crowds, we deferred to a coastal drive home.
After trail running this unique parkrun event, we returned back to our Gympie accommodation via this geocache. After a brief search, the cache was located, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape (although the container is looking/feeling quite brittle). Interestingly, we didn't see any sign of the last finder who logged the cache on 15/12/2022. I also took the TB for onwards travels. Thanks red&mootie for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Luckily cars weren’t too backed up at the road works, we’re able to quickly grab on our way through. Found with Sarahe28. TFTC
On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
An odd placement but better than scrounging through the grass.

Thanks for this one, the container will not last much longer getting fragile. Apart from that and being a bit moist inside it is all good. Thanks again
Thanks for the cache, All looks to be in good condition. Just collections a few caches while on the way to Inskip point.
On our way back to Rocky from Brissie and we decide to head to Rainbow Beach, because why not.
We start to head in and I notice a few caches along the way.
We agree to do them if the rain eases off as we go by.
This is the first, my sandals do get a little water logged on the way in, but I only get a little bit rained on.

Found! This was a magical place once I found my way through the long grass.
I took one of the TBs and the other was not in the container.

Well, finally the weather has decided it will allow us a few days of dry camping (not totally dry, there WILL be a few lagers involved! ).
Our target area is Gympie and a few rural spots northwest.
I'm not sure who got the biggest surprise ... me or the rather large kangaroo that was enjoying the cool enclave at GZ? [?]
Actually, I think it was me ... I'll be back as soon as I get a change of clothes!
Nice quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Took a while to pull off the road as traffic was busy. But once off safely my son navigated and we looked around and took a while before my son spotted it in a tree. tftc.
A quick find today on the first day of my 3 week road trip.
Thanks red&mootie for the cache.

I had written a very long log, GSAK had a hissy fit and it’s gone. Sorry for the generic log. Found on my recent trip to Hervey Bay and back.
In Gympie for the weekend. Found after attending the local parkrun. Dropped TB. TFTC
On our way out of Gympie today, we stopped here to make a find. A short walk through some Long grass soon had us at GZ, and after a quick search we found what we were looking for. Log signed and then on our way again.
Thanks
