Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Easter Weekend and a post on Facebook for a bike ride to collect a few caches. Excellent idea so joined in. Looked high and low and nothing to be found
Spent some time looking for it without luck, until it finally became dark. We read the logs and assumed the cache to be missing.
Think this one had been muggled. Can the owner either confirm it is still there, Replace or cancel. Many thanks
Great Place to hide it and such in a lovely area i think it is lost as there is no sign of a cache being there had
a really good look around
a really good look around
Last time we were looking for this one it had gone. Saw that it has been hidden different with a new hint and still we had no luck
Out learning how to geo cache with the kids. My second find kids are great teachers☺
Out and about with Finbop again and a fun find for the kids. Much larger than we expected but great to have room for swaps, and a cool hide. TFTC!
Came across Tigerosauraus out and about we hooked up to get a couple of smilies. A favoured way to reach a cache for the 4 yr old boys among us. tftc
Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
Our stealthy searching didn't work here today, muggled by a passing cacher (papamoabikers). Checked the spot where they had found it but that was before it was move. To a fair bit of a hunt but me and HPG both missed it. Mrwalker had the keener eyes today and spotted it, not sure how we missed it. Thanks for the hide.

Out on a numbers mission with HKCB and Iammrwalker to clear out some of the caches in Tauranga/Papamoa area. We left Hamilton at 5am and had a full day of caches, a few DNFs, a refreshing swim in a pond and a whole lot of laughs. We signed logs as 'HI1' as an acronym for our caching names to save log space. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great variety of caches, puzzles and locations
A memorable find, we were all hunting trying to look inconspicuous when we were asked if we had found it yet. Muggled by another cacher! Nice to meet you Papamoabikers and thanks for your help. We all had a look around and then found the cache.

Second visit here and found quickly where I had looked last time. Glad to be able to mark this off.

Walked up to GZ and started looking. Some kids came up and questioned me what I was doing. Waited for them to leave. Then found cache. TNLNSL. Thanks for another great cache NoodleKidz!
The last cache appears to missing so a new ones now in place. Now a small & see updated hint.
No luck with this one. Searched all over and found nothing. I'm either not looking hard enough or it has gone...
It wasn't where we thought it would be initially, but of course its description would have told us that. Perfect colour for its hiding place.
This one took awhile muggle mutts owner made it difficult for us came out and sat at nearby seat just as I was signing log. Had to wait for her to leave
Noisy neighbour muggle mutt barked continously, so I sat on bench and waited until all was quiet. Found easily, SL'd and back to geo-vehicle, as muggle mutt started up his "someone's found the cache!" rant.
Nice quick find for the kids. Lovely shady spot amongst the trees to escape this searing summer sun. Thanks
Turns out Christmas Eve is a great day to go caching. Poddled around on our bikes and had the place mainly to ourselves. Easy find. Cache all good. Lovely Pohutukawa blooms all round. TFTC
Found while on a weeks camping at Papamoa and out on our bikes to check out
the water ways TFTC

A lovely area of Papamoa, the Commemorative Tree Site is such a good idea, TFTC.
That is good to have on the found list. Nearly had the log blown out of our hand as we were signing. TFTC.
Edited to visit TB's.

We felt like we spent a good portion of the afternoon following Mike miss around as he was on many of the logs we signed today. This cache was found while taking our five year old son for a bike ride around the area.
This one took a lot longer than it should have, even with 2 of us looking. No hint and GPS kept bouncing around, we weren't too sure where to concentrate our search. I had one idea on where the cache could be while miss had another... About to give up and miss says "i'd better just check here" and yep there was the cache...! Doh! Good to get this one sorted, TFTC!
Checked the first spot over, not here. Then had a look through the next spot, no luck. Sat down, had a look around - what about there?.. success. Done and dusted cheers.
Have to admit that we looked in a couple of other places before finally spotting the cache.
Many thanks

Out and about for a days caching over in the Bay with Zorgon, to see what we can find, before Mrs Dragon and I head out of town for a short time.
This was our twenty seventh cache of the day and we arrived nice. The Easterly breeze seems to be keeping the muggles away
Thanks for the placement

Took a seat to contemplate the Longview, didn’t take too long before the cache revealed itself, many thanks for a nicely hidden container.
Not quite where we expected but found quite quickly after checking out the Long View. TFTC.
Another nice spot to take a seat and suss out the obvious spot for the cache. Cache all good. Tftc
"The long and the short" of the viewing was that we found it after a bit of a search and a sit and a think!!
Nice hide, good find -- thank you
Note --- condensation is making the log a bit damp and hard to write on.

Had time to think about this until the muggles walked past.
A nice place to sit and sign.

#272 - Biking through Papamoa, getting a few that i hadn't collected yet. on my way past there were some muggles sitting on the seat admiring the view! so i came back to this one on my way home, yay coast was clear. after sitting for a bit i found a likely spot and had cache in hand pretty quick.

Another great place. It was good to be able to sit down and think about it. In the end, a very logical placement. TFTC
Queen's Birthday Monday... Have spent most of the weekend indoors. By lunchtime today, I decided to grab the dog and head over to Papamoa for a bit of cache hunting.
I searched first this, then that, followed by the other. Then I looked everywhere else. Meanwhile, the dog kept running off to play with anything that looked fun and was unhelpful. Finally, she came to sit with me and she actually sniffed out the cache. Thanks to her, this troublesome hide was eventually located. TFTC.

Had us searching high and low for this one but got there in the end after widening our search area. TFTC. #251
We decided today to go shopping at bay fair but found the new caches on the way. A neat little park here tftc
Another good find on a bit of a geocaching trip "up north" with Caroline
Thanks for showing me some great areas and good caches.
Signed the log - quick find

Quick find, nice spot to sit and think, but can be a bit windy...LOL. TFTC Noodlekidz
We looked in the dark with our torches but could not find looked high and low. But the camo was to good for us we ran out of time had to get back to tepuna to pick kids up.
Beaten to the FTF by just under 30 mins! I've often thought of placing a cache here and are pleased to see someone felt the same.

A nice quick find for a podium finish. I didn't linger long as the wind was a little biting here. Half expecting snow on the ground at GZ. TFTC
