Our first DNF for the day while out hiking the woods with Tardis Trio, can see evidence of the height of the water through here but alas no cache spotted today, till next visit TFTC 3LG
Three caches in a row we lucked out on today a couple of DNFs on this one, may need a check up as well thanks 3LG
Had a good look around and couldn't find it. The summer flood waters have been around GZ, I wonder if it got washed away? Or I need glasses?
Mr Crumble was riding his motorbike around the forest today, so i decided to ride my much quieter push bike. I looked around, couldnt find it, resorted to the clue and looked elsewhere. Waited for the GPSr to settle but it was bouncing around about 10m either way. No luck finding it today. Looks like a lot of water goes through here, no excuses though, just no luck for me today.
Took a short walk in the forest for something different.
Still finding caches by the same team LOL
Have met a few people who can probably survive headless!
Clever cockroaches!
Cache a bit wet. Probably the area flooded.

I was looking at the obvious spot !!
So I screwed me head back on and finally found the cache

Son wanted to go camping for his birthday, so if we are going to freeze up at Mt Crawford we decided to get some caches. Was nice having this cache within a quick walk from the tent, thankyou
For some reason we meandered around in circles to get this one until the GPS settled and the find was soon in hand. Thanks for the hunt this afternoon
After finding the Wendigo cache, we were going to continue on towards the Genies one, but decided to head back to the car instead as we have spent way too much time just to get that far This cache was actually closest to where we parked, but we ignored it as we headed out, instead picking it up on our way back. TNLNSL TFTC
After enduring warm summer's days and recovering after many Christmas family gatherings, a day of gathering smileys was enjoyed. We learned more history and geology of this wonderful area

Our last find for the day :c) After a very closer encounter just down the track earlier, we approached this one with a lot more caution! Oh, and it was not in the obvious spot :cP TFTC!!
Out for the day with Debandy trying to rain in the out of control cache problem around the Birdwood / Mt Crawford area. Many excellent cache were found , a great deal of walking was done and much happiness was had.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Spent the day out caching with Cows With Guns. Our legs got a good workout with all the walking we did today. Many interesting caches were found today, Thanks for the cache.
Day 3 Mount Pleasant. Staying at the caravan Park / Showgrounds
A much better day for the weather, after lunch we headed out into the forest to find caches not far from the roadside. We kept comming accross caches found by FeatherWaite today, but we did not see them.
Thanks for placing this cache 3LG

I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!

I did these cahes on a day time raid with Semik.

Found on a day when I exceeded the target that I had hoped for. Found it after a few minutes.
i managed to keep my head while looking for this cache, not in the first place i looked.
Cache number 24 of 13 today.
Found at 1:10:00 PM on our 11.5 Kilometre walk.
Went out with The Shattells for another repeat visit to Mt Crawford to find a few more in these series.
Took the Geo pup along who at 16 years old she still loves a trail and she was very determined today even if she did come home and take to her bed and is snoring as I write this.
For a small dog this is about 80 human years. Try pushing your granny over to pine tree creek crossing and up a hill climb.
We were joined by another dog who loved the walk,
The two Andrews had a good time and the A Team where in good form as we took these on with a mini Shattell keeping us company.
Mini Shattell was a little tuckered out when we started the second leg and dropped of the pack and the A team were wheezing a bit on that last hill.
Had a fantastic time and a very enjoyable day out.
All the hides were great today and there we some big containers out there.
We loved the choice of hide locations.
Nice work.[^]

Out with upsanddowns

Mum and daughter headed off to find the cache whilst the rest of us stayed dry in the car.
I think we better head down the track once the rain stops.
Took mini Tupper ware (very cool) and left dog tags.

Back at the car after our walk and this is only 50m away so sent the kid over for the find..TFTC
In the area and AndyColombia was keen to have a shot at the FTFs, but between Owl's footwear, Mrs Aussie M&M's bad back and a locked gate, her companions refused to indulge her. Instead Owl and Andy went for the nearest cache. Owl was fixated on the obvious hide, but Andy was on the ball.
I guess that Mrs Aussie M&M was having a lot of fun watching Dr Owl and me running around in circles
Finally GPS give us to the right direction ...
Ps... So close to put my hands in those FTF ... snif snif ...

A great walk along the woods as I headed in one great big loop around and along the ridge. Fantastic day where there were plenty of roos hopping around. No Easter bunnies.
Our thanks to 3LG and clear skies from TeamAstro..

TFTC. Added spice to the day competing with the mentors, Mrs SASewer Rat and Blackadder, trying to find caches before them. Still learning to drive my Magellan , it rarely read the same as theirs.
Tonight it was the turn of a couple of wierd & cool facts caches for my daly visit on the way home from work [^]
Was going to walk in a little further but as itstarted to drizzle that plan was discarded until another day.
Cheers & TFTC

Mrs SA4agers decided that we needed to do some more of the Animal Facts and Animal Fiction series but there was a catch... she wanted to walk. So we parked the geomobile near Holey Wall and set off. Weather conditions were just about perfect and caches were abundant Some of the caches we swapped swag, some we didn't. All of the caches we found were in good condition and varied in size, type and hide. Even grabbed a few of the Weird & Cool Facts TFTC 3LG!
Out with ttrogg for another walk in the hills.
Thanks for the cache 3LG

Weather was warm & dry at home and we couldn't believe it was cold & drizzling up here, which continued on and off for more than 3½ hours .
We made a cautious return to this one today, not expecting to see any wriggly sticks .
No luck again , but then we followed the arrow somewhere else - doh [B)]! TNLNSL.
Thanks for one more 3LG.

Called in today and with a replacement cache in hand, it was not needed as the original was still there and was in the open so now its safe in its hiding spot.
With all the Animal Facts, Weird and Cool Facts and K9 Gps caches in the Mt Crawford Forest park, I finally got to a point where I could no longer resist. Thanks for a great day out. TFTC
We could not find this one.

Great day for a walk in a forest so headed out Mount Crawford way to target some of the "of" series.
And this wasn't one of them. I'll agree with Freddo on this one - EVIL.

As we approached the big tree here, we saw a snake in the hollow and this put us off our search a bit [xx(].
Checked around the outside but didn't see anything, so left for the next one - we'll come back when the weather is cooler [8].
Thanks anyway 3LG.

You almost got me stumped. Good hide. Beautiful tree.
Luckily no snakes were seen.

Well, after coming from "bury your head" we were starting to think we would have to bury our head to find this one after several circuits of GZ. Luckily I stepped back to survey the situation and it all became clear! Thanks for the Cache - I like it - a bit sneaky after several easy ones; trying to catch us off guard I reckon 3LG! TNLNSL TFTC
If there was a case for negative favourite points this cache would be on the list. That's just plain evil.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega.
Today we moved our caravan to Mt Crawford. We arrived at lunchtime just prior to the rain.
After setting up and having lunch we decided to head out to find a few caches to continue our geostreak.
Just picking up a few roadside caches before heading back to camp.

I really hate it when you read the LOGS to find that everybody thought it was an easy find, when you've been searching for ages with nothing to show for it. I must be losing it. This tree has at least four decent hiding spots. I took my better half to find what I could not. At least I had the pleasure to write in the LOG. .
Thanks for the cache, 3LG.

Bronze place for us on this one today. We didn't see any cockroaches around here - I think they were all sheltering somewhere out of the cold and wet. TFTC
Whoooo Hooooo !!!! Joint First to Find with AussieM&M at 4.10 pm. We quickly located the prize .... thanks 3LG for the hide!!!!
Joint FTF with CPwanderer. Do not go off headless looking for this cache, all is not what it seems and the cache is not in the obvious place. Aussie Mary made the find and was feeling very cold with wet soggy boots at this cache. TFTC 3LG.
