Today I did the family thing and met up with my 2 sister in laws, niece and family in Mount Barker for the food truck festival.
Enjoyed a yummy Turkish main and Dutch desert and then beers whilst we listened to a great acoustic guitarist/singer.
Then to Strath to my sister in laws for a cuppa.
Found 6 caches for the day not quite the number planned but better than nothing!
We had a good little walk around here admiring the local area and then found the cache. TFTC LiB

A good hide that didn't escape us this time. This was on my DNF for some time and today was the perfect opportunity to have another go. And yep found it with the obvious look. Tftc
No sleep in this morning Not when there is a Breakfast Club event at 9am[|)] at Mount Barker
Rex and I arrived about half way through[|)] and had time to say a quick hello to most people while ordering a breakfast burger and cappucino to go[^]
I'd heard something about a cache that has taunted me for years as I drive up and down the freeway! Having never had the opportunity to have someone go with me while I tried for it, today I grabbed that chance with both hands[^]
Mrs Michells&hound accompanied us in the Corolla for a wjile as we headed to and from Mt Barker summit and then on the way to her car, we grabbed a couple of higher level caches[^]
Then Rex and I headed for Strathalbyn where we spent time with my 82 year old auntie[:X] and took her out to a pub in Strath for tea[^]
A couple of caches in Strath before we headed home and by day's end, Rex and I had 16 finds: 15 caches and 1 event[^]
I did NOT leave tongue prints on this cache!
Although I nearly did on the nearby motorbike!![^]
Stunning artwork and memorial[^], especially at night
My 1st time seeing it in real life, up until now I've only seen it in pictures
Sad though to see Garage Motorcycles closed down We used to often end up here on rides for fuel, loos and coffee[^]
Anyway, last cache for the long day[|)] so now it's home to bed for Rex and I[|)][^]

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
After our house sit in Willunga, we are on the road again, filling in time before we go to Kangaroo Island on 1 Nov. Hiding from the shi**y weather in Strathalbyn, we started at the nearest cache, and worked our way out wards. Yesterday, we solved the two multis in town, today, we find them.
Quick find. Log full. Out walking, no replacement. Mr D loved the sculpture near by. Thanks LiB

My last day of a week long trip across the border following the Murray from the Victorian border to Mannum and brief visit to the Adelaide Hills.
I was taking a drive around town to give it a quick check out as the 2 or 3 times I have previously passed though I hadn't managed to get off the direct route though town when the nearby sculpture grabbed my eye and went to marvel at it more closely, noticed there was a cache nearby and naturally had to give it a try, thankfully quickly spotted.

An easy find on one of many visits to Strath. Never thought to look for a cahce here before...silly us! Found now. TFTC
Found today on a day trip out from our house sit in Murray Bridge.
Nice quick find on a cold windy day, which kept the muggle numbers down and made those who braved the conditions less distracted by me.
Returned to the car to sign to keep log dry.
Thanks for the cache.

Sorry forgot to log on the day we found it. Found with Geo Hubby TB142 and Geo friends Rogerz1956 and Nature Girl. TFTC
Hi there 3LG. Today was a Geo-day with the event in Mt Barker the prime reason. We went to hahndorf first for brunch and then to the event. On leaving the event we travelled towardsStrathalbyn finding a few caches along the way, before returning home to Mitcham. All together - a very enjoyable day. The container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to 3LG for this cache - our find # 6322.
This morning, I had ridden the Tour Down Under challenge tour, with it finishing up in Strathalbyn. I had a short amount of time spare before boarding the bus back to Adelaide, so made sure to make a detour past 3LG's cache and found in a familiar style hide. Funnily enough, I was trying to hover around just as some family was nearby staring at me. They asked me a few what seemed like bogus questions like where did the tour finish, and whether I was a pro cyclist or something. I then asked them if they were Geocachers as they seemed to be wanting to go where I was standing just above the cache. It turned out that they were just regular muggles interested in me haha, how random. Cheers 3LG!
Found with geowife kezza 1211 naturegirl and rogerz1956 was just sitting on the ground upside down tftc
Turned out to be easier to find than I was expecting and we got lucky as far as muggles go. TFTC
Very busy area with the new motorbike statue being unveiled and rows of chairs for VIP's nearby.
Got it ok though without attracting attention.

Put for a country drive and hubbie stopped to visit antique shop. What luck a geocache 20m away! Quick find once my gps finally settled down to one spot. Tftf
Holiday Monday, waiting for the antiques shops to open, so I went caching. Found on the ground, a familiar shape but a bit out of place here. Had to take a photo log as the pen wasn't working.
Out for an afternoon drive with the family, stopping for the odd cache amidst the busy Saturday afternoon traffic.
Stopped in Strathalbyn for geo-daughter to visit the lolly shop and browse the antiques.
Made this our final stop before heading home.
Mrs Gizmo spotted this one while Mr Gizmo was still looking.

On our way to WA via the slower wriggle roads. Spending a couple of days near Strathalbyn so decided to see some of the sites and grab some caches as well.

#2867 Today we explored Strath, before heading east and back down to Victor Harbour. This was our first find after a spot of brunch just a few doors down the street. A nice easy find today, TFTC 3LG and some cool and somewhat weird facts about tongues .
Third of the day with Wal & Ol and CacheClosed1847. Nice quick find after a couple of tricky ones. TFTC #287.
Third of 11 caches for the day with CachingTheJoint and Wal & Ol. As I approached GZ, immediately spotted the cache. Love finding these types, fitting as it is my 300th! TFTC. #300
Just passing through town on the Bike SA annual tour and had some time to pick up a few of the local caches. TFTC.
Owl was out with Jedikai98 for a maintenance run - and what caches they could find on the way! This was a quick find by Owl, who has seen these before.
Out caching and doing maintenance with Doctor Owl. We pulled into the nearby car park and quickly found the cache in the obvious place. There was a relatively high muggle factor here. TFTC.
Only my 3rd find in Strath on my 'Big Caching Day Out' in Strath (On the Boss' payroll, LOL) gotta love RDO's [^]. Made a most quick find having seen this kind of hide so many times in the past SL at 09:09 on TGIF 11 Aug 2017. TFTC 3LG
Got to GZ and realised we have found and signed this one a long time ago... so here is our online log whoops! I remember it was raining on the day we found it and we got caught in a sudden downpour. Thanks for the cache!!!
