#4004 After a ride on the chairlift at Arthurs Seat we made our way down to Rye fighting with an enormous volume of traffic en route! Finally we had parked near BTU - Bus Stop with the plan to walk to BTU - Twisted. A coolish day but still lots of muggles enjoying the beach.
This hide is nuts!! Very lucky to spot it today. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear, a fave from us .

A short stroll along the bay this afternoon with TheGees during our summer holiday. This was our first find and a very clever one at that! TFTC!
Found at 10:34 AM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob & Alansee.
Well that was a bit easier to spot - being a bit bigger than the rest. Alan found that one so we all had a find after 3 caches
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass and Alansee, at 10:35. Signed as MAP (Maccamob, Alansee, Pprass). Our second day on the Bay Trail. Much better weather today, having only one very brief period with a few spots of rain. Still quite windy, but we had a good run with all the BTR and BTU caches finished, and a few other caches added for good measure. As happened yesterday, quite a few of the caches took us quite a while to find, but we seemed to do better as the time passed. Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha.
Had a great caching day today with pprass and maccamob. We found everything today that we could have and only had one real PAF. It was a combination of great hides, some good finding, and sheer persistence! This was a quick one.
At least I didn’t go nuts looking for this one. Right angle a plus Nice construction again! TFTC
Our main goal today was to seek out as many of this series of Bay Trail caches as we could. We enjoyed the many varied, interesting and clever caches found along the way and so many thanks to the COs for all the time, work and effort involved in having created the caches, laid them and maintained them. We also had fun making the connections between the song and the cache hides - we had a great day out! After first searching at the wrong tree we went on to locate the very nicely camouflaged cache at another one. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and another favourite point awarded. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Another favourite point from me... nearly didn’t missed this one, as was too busy dancing to the nutbush when my friend yelled found it!
This is very clever! We were looking in the wrong tree until AdrianB pointed out the obvious! Then the cache was in hand. Great camouflage TFTC
You guys are seriously Nuts!
Awesome work!
Pocketed the phone and used geosenses to locate the sneaky hide.
Cache in good order, thank you.

Found today on our Portsea to Rye Tour, that took us from the back beaches of Portsea, then through to the Portsea bayside. We then followed through Sorrento, Blairgowie and finished in Rye. Our day went from 11:00am through to 7:45pm. Some wonderful caches, placements and views on the way. Some easy, some easy that we made hard, a couple that were hard that we were lucky to make easy and quite a number that were just plain hard. Thanks to all cache owners for the wonderful day out from D & HA B-A
Wow, these guys are nek level with their camo, very clever and creative, another fav cache.
You guys are on another level. Took LouD and I a little while to figure it out, until the obvious became obvious. Another awesome find.
Find #4387. Found @ 18:35 with The Good Lady Wife.
We're holidaying nearby and went for a walk to get out and about, and collect a few caches. We're having to go a bit further along the coast to get to caches that I've not attempted before. After watching the Grand Final on TV, we decided to get some steps and find some caches.
I guessed what I'd be looking for, based on the name of the cache, but it still took a few minutes to locate the hide in the fading light. Luckily I had my torch.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache BorisB&Natasha

A quick find today after doing some under water event close by. Very nice camouflage which I looked pass the first time around. Also didn't help that I was at the wrong tree originally. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear

Very Nutty, you are keeping us on our toes!! TFTC ANSMISTY another favourite point
Had some time today to head down the peninsula and try to knock off a few more of the bay trail series. I decided to drive out and work back from the west so I continued to move the car along as I cached. After my previous find I left the car where it was in the nearby car park and walked on to this one. A very nice construction and I was lucky to quickly spot something that didn't look quite right. there was a ute parked across the road but I was able to stay largely out of sight until I had signed and returned the cache. My fourteenth find of fifteen for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the the cache and this great series BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
Aiming to stretch our legs along this part of the BTU trail we parked in the nearby allotment and quickly came across this first one with the keen eyes of Geo-mum.
A good start. And a clever, camouflaged hide.
---------
With 3 million geocaches on the planet, we've chosen yours to find. You should be thanking us!

It can be tricky finding caches along the bat trail, it’s a very popular place with walkers and campers but there was a lull in the weather and the opportunity to grab a geocache unhindered was there. Another creative cache design and placement! I initially thought it would be a quick park and grab, but no.. not that easy. I checked lots of other places before zeroing in on the GZ .. then the cache was spied. Another creative design and placement ... thank you to BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for placing and maintaining the cache, looking forward to completing the series.
Down on the Peninsula for a week's holiday and doing some random caches along the Bay Trail this morning. Once we got on to the right side of the track and found the right tree it was Mrs Pooky who was standing in the right spot and made the find. Another well constructed cache. TFTC.
Returned to the scene having had some experience now of these amazing Cache setters. Today mainly enjoying a simple beach walk with revisits to some caches. Grateful to have found it this time. TFTC
Having a bit of a wander along the coast before heading to Melbourne and finding a few caches as I enjoy the sea and this lovely track. Another quality cache here and another favourite point TFTC BorisB&Natasha
I found this quicker than I expected to. It took me a moment to figure out what exactly I was looking for but once I had that sorted a simple scan of the area had it in my hand.
I was here a year ago and missed this one. Fresh eyes today and I was able to spot it, TFTC
Found it , the Mailkid spotted this one before I got a chance to look. Very sneaky. Tftc
What a great cache, so well camouflaged. Very good clues to follow. First heart we have given. TFTC
This one was tricky. Three of us looked for a good while but the kids got discouraged. Ultimately the camoflage was too good for us. We decided to try again on the return walk. ASC Family holiday to Rye.
We found this on our return walk after a bit more of a look by A. Very clever hide. Thanks for the challenge. Family holiday at Rye. ASC
Awesome cache. Read the title and dance while looking. So much more fun. Sheldon’s and Bertram’s
Was nice to meet the Dingos, who were already at GZ. We all got to searching, when OzHockeyChick spotted it. Loved the camo and the method of attachment, really cool!

Staying in a local airbnb with Muggle friends for the long weekend and decided to go for a quick walk after checking in. This was a nice find for the kids who are hooked on Geocaching now.

Accompanied with pwala for caching day.
The weather was great and lovely balance for us with caching.
Many muggles around there today.
My eyes become so tired because we had been searched every time when we stopped next.
How excellent hides they are.
Glad that we found it with our good eyes phew.
fav from me
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Out for a cache day in Peninsula area with crank1. It took us a while to find this one, love this cache. TFTC and bringing us here.
Second time around it was an easy find. Activity log indicates it was missing last time I was here. Great hide. TFTC
I was beginning to think that this one had been cleaned up by some recent tree pruning... and then I saw it sticking out like the proverbial...
Thanks for the cache and the series.
Thanks for the cache and the series.
Come back to get this monkey off the back. Area has been cleaned up since my last visit. Neat hide. Thanks for the effort.
This one was missing so a new one has been placed. Same coords as the original.
I'm sure this cache is still here it was just too good for me today. I spent wayyyyy to long searching the wrong tree until I finally made the connection from the title after reading a certain log.
I then knew exactly where the cache would be and what it would probably look like but there was just too much to search. It avoided my glance today. Oh well! Thanks anyway!

Ahh yes the Bay Trail! I remember this series from my last visit which I think was over a year ago. Today I have returned on foot once again to continue some of this trail! In total I covered about 9km of the coast with 34 finds and only 3 DNF's!! Which I thought was a massive effort given the difficulty of some of the caches. To be fair I did spent just over 5 hours making my way through them! Thanks to BorisB&Natasha + Nut Bear for one of the most impressive long distance trails I have come across

Find 1082
This one took a little while to grab. I sort of knew what I was looking for. It certainly had me straining. Tried all directions and then it was discovered. Log signed and back again.

Looking looking looking couldn't find it, will have to come back with friends next time
Great camo!! Tftc it's raining but I'm having trouble driving last these green dots!!
Forget the co-ords. got distracted by the flora in the area. And, move over Tina Turner, a fav song!!!! For cache owners who disclaim preference for the songs used as cache names you certainly know a lot of good ones! TFTC
Out with Missmash today. The tree cache was in took our interest first. Good hide. Tftc
/-/-/-/-/ BTU DAY 1 \-\-\-\-\
Our first day tackling the BTU seemed to be topsy-turvy as we had a few finds and a few DNFs. A lot of today's finds were amazing. Luckily, this was one of the finds.
*la la la... nutbushcitylimits....* Sorry, I'll stop dancing now. This cache was a very clever one and we enjoyed finding it! Very nice camo, it would've fooled us for longer if it wasn't for the size!

An meinem letzten Tag auf der Mornington Peninsula Halbinsel.War das Wetter nicht Strand-aber absolut Dosentaugl. So konnte ich doch noch einige dieser Serie suchen und finden.TFTC Diese war ganz besonders orginell!
Was having lunch with friends nearby. We decided to go for a walk and enjoy the sun. Took a advantage of this moment to find a few caches. This one has amazing camouflage! Tftc
Out on an afternoon walk we decided to stop off at this one. We needed to search for this one before standing back and taking a look. Finally spotted so we could sign our names. Great hide and TFTC Nut bear
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Day out caching across the water with Niclibsteph. Thanks for bring us here and for the cache.
Happily enjoying the sunshine and caching in this beautiful area- we do enjoy coming back here!
We had a bit of an idea on what this cache container might look like- the CO's have done an amazing job matching the cache to the name!
After a quick search at GZ our suspicions were rewarded, as we had the very clever camoed cache in hand!
Log was swiftly signed and we returned everything as we found it. TFTC

On the trail caching with Jascat and mark9375. This one had us going for a bit but I made the find. Great hide and a fav from me. TFTC
Out and about with mazza-g and Mark9375 on the bikes. A beautiful day to explore this part of the peninsula. I think I was suffering from cache blindness here as it was mazza-g who spotted the sneaky well camouflaged cache. Definitely a favourite point from me. TFTC
Found 11/11 at the end of a satisfying outing along the BTU with Dicksontwo. We were wondering where East was - a compass can help! Last find on a lovely day by the bay. Thanks Nut Bear for another cleaver hide.
Mr Dicksontwo and Mr Rogdel found time at last to add some more smileys to the BTU series. A beautiful Peninsula day, lovely stroll along the bay and some Finds, just what we like. This was our eleventh and last Find for the couple of hours we had. Mr R was really on the ball, evidenced by the triumphant AH!! when he came up with it in hand.
Many thanks BorisBNatasha and Nut bear. We'll keep going with this great series and we appreciate the efforts put into it.

Took awhile, resorted to reading previous logs and picked a clue for this tough nut. Love Suzy Q.

Couldn't spot this one on previous attempts, thought I'd have another go and this time I found it in virtually no time at all! Helps if you look from the correct side. A nice concealment and good to get the smiley on a gap that I had along here.
Thanks very much for placing this one.
Thanks very much for placing this one.
I so didn't see this one, but from another angle the oldest geoson had spotted it. We were so lucky that as we drove on the road, we could judge it by car with no traffic around us. We really have enjoyed this series.
Out to clear a bit more of the shoreline with Tokass. Nearly screwed by these nuts but Mrs LZZ did the honours at 15:55. TFTC
Up early grabbing a few of this series before there are too many muggles. No one about, so made this a nice quick find.
Thanks Nut bear for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.
