Finally found it after 3 hours in total of searching. Didnt expect where it was and was hard to get to if you arent tall.
We found it. The GPS coordinates are about five mettre off and forget looking Trees.
this took way to long but so funlook for a hollow divot in the top of (A) gate
Nice spot to find a cache, compass is not 100% so dont look in the but with a good look u will find it
TFTC! Quick find with ChickenEmpyre, log was hard to get out at first but managed to pry it
DNF Looked for a good 10 minutes with a friend and couldn't find it. We kept checking the app for how far it was, but it would go from 2m to 4m in one step for some reason, any hints for when we check again?
Found whilst doing Bondi to Manly walk with my geohiking buddies. Love it. Have replaced the log. Previous one is paper machete now. Cache guardian nearby. TFTC TNLNSL
Classic cache hiding spot. Cannon is distracting Log is ripped and ruined though.
Interesting location, but totally understandable. Thanks for bringing us here. We would never have known about this spot if not for the cache. Thanks.
Wow!! What about all the No Entry signs?? Oh, we found a way down, reached high, worried about spiders but we preserved and found it!! The FP is because my Geohubby got to relive his youth, growing up here as an Army Brat! TFTC!
This is our second time looking for this one, annoyed that we can’t find it, would love another clue or hint that would majorly help
My last day in Sydney was spent walking around the lovely bushland of Middle Head. Once I read the hint, it was an easy find before muggles arrived. Log was dry when I found it. Interesting location. Tftc
DNF. This was hard I was looking around the tall grass but I couldn’t find.
Second time lucky. With a hint from the CO. Sneaky hide. Signed sort of. The paper doesn’t really like to be written on in its current condition.
Looked in the wrong spot for 30 mins then got a hint form a previous finder then finally found it

I made this a lot harder than it needed to be! Was looking in the wrong spot for like 15mins
Almost DNF'ed this one but had one last look in a place I had already tried. Very cool location and nice hide. Thanks so much!
We found it! Our first one ever too!
Took a little while to find, bug the clue helped.
The log book is falling apart and we didn’t have a pen to sign it.

Tftc! Had no idea one was here! The log has a bit of water damage though so I couldn’t sign!
Looked with a friend for a while to no avail. Any more hints anyone could give us?
Glad chippymick64 was with me on this find as GPS was out 8m. Great hiding spot though in an awesome historical spot! TFTC!!
OCW JimmyDave, around Balmoral and Mosman. We really liked this location and enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks.
Great hide. I love walking through the old emplacements. This is one I’ve never noticed before
Been down Bradley’s head road a hundred times. Never knew this bit was here. Thanks

Over for a swim at Balmoral and to catch the start of the Hobart from Middle Head. Lots at people around so targeted this one and made a reasonably quick find, could have been longer if not for a bit of geo sense. Thanks for placing this cache decentcachers #1260
A fairly quick find after checking obvious places and a process of elimination. Grabbed while at a nearby event TFTC
What a fantastic cache! Incredible location, really love abandoned places and I wasn’t expecting to find this place here, I just came for the nearby event!
An obvious favourite point from me, a solid hide as well. I can see why this doesn’t go missing, well done. Shocked this doesn’t have more favourite points then, places like this are what caching is all about! Favourite from me

25,403. Found with minniek during a two day visit up to Sydney.
The draw of two Community Celebration Events in two days made us plan a route to attend them both plus knock off our remaining Sydney Local Government Areas for our quest to finish off New South Wales soon. An early afternoon start from Goulburn yesterday and we attended that neat event. After a night in a nearby hotel we hit the streets today ticking off the LGAs. Once that was done it was on to the CCE. During the very well done event, a bunch of us walked the short distance to try for this trad. Under the watchful eyes of the CO I made a pretty quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then went back to the event.
Thanks decentcachers !!

Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head up to Sydney for the night due to a couple of Community Celebration Events on offer.
This morning we headed off into the heat that has been lacking for the past month. I'm sure it must have been 25 by 9.00am and just got hotter as the day went on. Today's aim was to pick up the last few counties we had left to collect in the Inner Sydney region and then end up at the CCE in the afternoon before heading home.
A nice quick find under the watchful eyes of the CO. What a fascinating place! and nice to meet you today decentcachers.

Never knew about these old fortifications. So interesting. No issues finding the cache but on replacing the lid, the attachment came off. The CO was still at the event and while sheepishly telling him Id broken his cache, the look of surprise . Where did I find that? Apparently It's found the missing cache and now there were 2 there.
All good the broken cache was removed.

Interesting fortifications at this location where we have not been to before. The cache was not hard to find and the log was soon signed. Thanks for bring us to see this part of Sydney's history go to decentcachers.
Found this one while attending the nearby event. Didn't know all this was here. Log was signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Out walking on first sunny day for a while and thought I would try this one again which had eluded us a couple of times. No problems today. TFTC
Couldn’t find, spent 1 hour of our Sunday looking, had a big argument with the boyfriend trying to find this. I’m hungry, I’m lost, I haven’t found the canister and my relationships on the rocks.
Was it worth it?
Yes.
I’ll be back.

Navigation gets a bit confused, but as long as a few spider webs don't bother you, you can find it.
Parkrun nearby and then some local caches around Mosman and Balmoral before heading south again for some caching along the way.
