We woke today to quite cool and foggy morning so we decided to wait around for things to warm up a bit.It was then we received a phone call from a family member traveling south that they were heading through Stanthorpe and would we like to catch up for a coffee. We never pass up the opportunity to catch up with family so it was on! They suggested we meet at a place in Thulimah, and we duly did. This set the agenda for the day. We decided afterwards to head further north up to Dalveen before working our way back home along the Fruit Run. It was only about halfway through the series we realized that there were fruit stalls all along the route, some open but many obviously no longer operational. We guess a new highway finished many of them!We collected a few other caches along the way as well.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Team Robins.**SKI Pair****
After camping the night at Storm King Dam we are making our way back home, taking the scenic route. Didn’t take long to find this one.

We are on our way back home. We went to QOGM 2022 in Charleville first, then decided to go on a camping trip in NSW for a change and visited also Canberra.

Spent a lovely weekend on the Granite Belt with Sausage3. While our husbands had a nana nap, we spent the afternoon geocaching, mostly avoiding the rain. Sodden logbook but was able to sign with my super pen. Tftc
As per previous finds, log too wet to sign. Replaced as found but needs maintenance.
GPS was all over the place but a bit of bush exploration and it was found. A very wet log book that needs attention. TFTC.
Have not had a caching run for a few weeks, so decided to find some lonely back roads from Warwick to Applethorpe. Of course, they had to contain a few caches. Had hoped for about 10, came home with 15! Can't complain about that. Morning tea and lunch, then some tasting a the cheese factory!
Ouch. Added a few more bruises to the tally on my legs; Thanks Team Robins for the hide. You get our favourite point of the day for today's fun.

Recently deciding to tackle the Apple art, a group of us got our heads together to solve all of the puzzles then visit the area to collect the wonderful caches between Warwick and Stanthorpe.
Our group of CHAMAD, NayFee, Triple Turmoil and myself had a fantastic weekend finding heaps of caches, we signed the logs Team TWOCAN.
Thank you to all of the COs who have spent time placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy, sincerely appreciated.
Thanks Team Robins for bringing us here.

Found while on a weekend mission with Chamad, Willis007 and Nayfee. Signed as Team Twocan. We came to get the Stanthorpe Apple, but couldn't drive past any of the others. We were there to flood our maps with smilies.
I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
Day two and it was an early start, there is so much still to get in the area. A fun and eventful day in many ways, lol.
As we started to work our way back home it was a matter of zigzagging and back tracking the caches to Warwick.

Day two on our epic journey around Stanthorpe and surrounds with Chamad, TripleTurmoil and Willis007.
After some much needed rest we woke up bright and early (Thanks Chamad for the farmyard sounds) and set off for another full day of caching around Stanthorpe to clear up the rest of the Stanthorpe Apple and a few other caches in between, then we slowly made our way back north towards Warwick while grabbing a bunch of caches we didn't get yesterday.
Same as yesterday we had a wonderful time exploring the area. I really enjoy visiting this part of the world, it's a great feeling to get out of the city and enjoy the country life.
Thank you to each and every CO for placing caches at these locations. We had a great time.

It’s some years since I beadled around the Stanthorpe region and the promise of a temperate climate and low humidity drew me here. Lots of caches, cheese, jam, wineries, truffles, happy hour, awesome scenery, you get the picture Even managed to convert a muggle to our evil ways Lots of fun!

Day 2 of our holiday in Stanthorpe. Pulled over on the side of the road and the kids and I all got out of the car and started walking along the road. Then a couple of cars drive up and stop beside us to check if we are ok. Yep, all good, thanks. Smile and wave them on. I’m sure they were wondering what on earth we were doing. After that one of the kids quickly found the cache. It really is very quick to find them with three little helpers looking with me. TFTC!
Driving along another dirt road I knew the car washing mafia would soon be ruling my life. We have actually been surprised by how many sealed roads there are around the traps. There’s only so much spit I can produce for a spit and polish. tftc
Early morning cache in the fantastic Stanthorpe. Love winter in this part of the world.
Took a while to realise what CIJ meant lol.
Time for a break...mm Sutton's famous Apple Pie is looking good about now
We found cache and soon had log signed and cache replaced as found before moving on.

Eskies5 and I planned a trip to Stanthorpe and surrounding areas to nudge me a little closer to a milestone. With the nudge now being a push this was the thirty-third stop of what would be 58 finds for the day for me. Found this cache at 10:23am with not a problem. All signed and returned. TFTC
Last day in Stanthorpe and what better way to spend it than finding the odd cache or three, most were easy finds though a couple had us hunting for a few minutes

Time to log some caches, unfortunately, there is a few so this is a generic log... we came, we saw, we found, we logged, thanks for the cache!
Last night I was in bed, gazing up at the stars and thinking…
Where is my roof?

Another stop along here for another well placed cache. Lovely time of the day as the shade is over the road. TFTC
Yes another easy find for The X-Trailers and myself today . Its misty rain so dont want to be searching too long. TFTC
Stopped just short of GZ to wait for a lovely lizard to cross the road. There have been quite a few along here but all the others have got of the road quickly. This one was determined to sit and sunbake so we moved him off. Thanks for the cache.

We had loaded up Scooby Doo (Car) & the Mystery Machine (Van and mobile GEO HQ) and headed off for 6 days of camping and caching. Our first stop was a lavender farm not too far from Stanthorpe where we set up the Mystery Machine and headed off to do some of the local caches.
Since our caching name is based on a 5.8 litre Red Ford Falcon, how could I pass up a cache with a code like this.
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints, and our tag.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick. and the log is in good condition and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache Team Robins.

Today is the last big day of caching in the Stanthorpe area as I will have finished collecting the new souvenirs. Many thanks to Pa for putting up with my crazy addiction to caching, and souvenirs, and for chauffeuring me around for hundreds of kms. Maybe our holiday will start now.
Decided to travel north on the back roads as neither of us fancy pulling up on the highway. We found most of those we tried for with only 2 DNFs and 28 smilies. Most caches were in good condition, in fact a few had lovely new logs! I had never been to this area before so seeing the Rabbit Proof fence here was a highlight.
Thanks to all the COs and Maintenance teams for the caches along the way. All logs were either signed Smittengranny or SG depending on my mood, the time taken to retrieve the cache and the space available for signing.

Sometimes it's just about the numbers and this run was for that and if course the planetary souvenirs. I truly admire those that have done 100 or more, we were exhausted after just over 50 but that gets us half way there. We still enjoyed the driving and looking on the back roads and thank you for your effort in putting them there for us to do this run. TFTC
Mrs Esky, along with a muggle friend, travelled Stanthorpe way on a numbers run in preparation for the next milestone. However, on leaving home the weather didn't look too promising...only clearing around Applethorpe. Priorities in order...our first stop at Stanthorpe was the bakery for morning tea & a coffee to warm up...temp was 14 deg!
Down to the business of caching we worked our way around Stanthorpe before slowly caching our way north (and homewards) accumulating a record number of caches in the day for the Eskies with a total of 57...and only one brief shower along the way. Thanks to all the COs for a fantastic day.
Note: I have just realised that I signed EVERY single long for the 2nd instead of the 3rd.

I set out bright and early this morning for a day of caching, but not before I'd kidnapped a geo-guru on my way through Toowoomba, to be my chauffeur, and to find a few he had yet to get further south. It was a big day and a good day. Found this one and signed the log, thanks for the cache!
New England Roadtrip day 1: Brisbane to Armidale via Warwick, Stanthorpe, Tenterfield and Glen Innes. The ultimate aim of this quick jaunt is to find the last remaining DT required to complete the 3rd loop of our DT grid, the closest of which happens to be 500km away in Armidale !

Find No. 5 for the day. The name for this cache is still a mystery to us . . but we found it regardless. TFTC
It was quite dark and we were caching with torches. We were pleased that accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team Robins for another of your caches.
We were too new to the game when the Oz Mega event was here so we have come down now to make a few grabs. Thanks for the caches along the quiet road.

Good caches and spending time with great friends. Doesn't get much better. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely part of Queensland. Thanks to Team Robins for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Hadn't intended to do much caching today but this area is so plentiful we just couldn't help ourselves. The majority of our finds today were placed by Team Robins & we appreciate the effort that goes into the hiding & maintaining so many great hides. Thanks for this & the other caches of yours we've found today. tnsl tftc TR xo
We can't believe all the work that has gone into these caches thank you very much. tn ln sl. day 2 of a quick stop over.
Caching in country lanes away from the muggle threat....now this is caching to enjoy and savour.
Cache found dry and in reasonable condition.
Thanks Team Robins
This is our third Day in Stanthorpe and after finally finishing the A.S. series we decided to do the fruit run. We found all of them and some other caches along the way. Most of them were quick finds and most in good order. Thanks Team Robins for laying these caches, we have had an enjoyable day.
Found on my daughter's birthday whilst visiting caching friends, another good one, thanks Team Robins
After spending a couple of hours on the power trail with WillPunkey and my toddler were hungry so we headed to the Hwy to grab some apples and then back to finding a few more caches before heading home to Toowoomba. Both kids loved the afternoon and made some swaps along the way.
