Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today was a different kind of a day. The youngest Husky went off for a very long walk, meandering in and around the CBD area, targeting many caches and a lot of adventure lab checkpoints. Over 40,000 steps were walked in total, which worked out to be a smidge over 30kms. Meanwhile, the two elder Huskies opted for a more relaxing day to rest and recover, hanging close to base with a handful of finds in between some shopping and a cafe lunch. An incredibly productive and most importantly, fun caching day, which if including AL's in the total, made for our biggest day of finds ever. We are all thoroughly loving Adelaide.Fifth stop for the elder Huskies. Took a bit of a search to uncover but all good in the end. Thanks for the cache
Find 16000 for me! DNFd this nearly 7yrs ago.Returned today with a magnetic TOTT, electricians tape, extra string and tweezers and after a few goes I extracted the cache from within the pipe!2 caches here too, one being a lot easier to get. Signed both logs. Photo of log inside the pipe which doesn't get found often.FP for the fun getting this one.
No luck. I read through the activity and apparently its a screw on the base of a pole? Too sneaky for me, Im afraid. I tried all the poles including the yellow one. TftChallenge
Got in the car and rethought things. I had checked inside this spot but disregarded it.Very sneaky. TftC
As previously said, believe its missing. Owner has been told with no response back since so dont think its been resolved sadly
Believe its been stolen again as cannot find it and checked every pole
Out for the normal Saturday morning bike ride. Looked for six caches along the way with mixed results - 4 found and 2 DNF. The DNFs were most likely aider error on my part as they have recent round logs. TFTC.
Today out and about on 59 of 100 days of consecutive days caching with a minimum of physical one a day. Cache number 988 on my way to 1,000 soon.Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cache.
Hooray finally, this little green dot turns yellow!I scoped out this cache ages ago but realised with the tool missing and not owning a personal one I couldnt get to it. So it was watch and wait and now its been replaced and I needed a much smaller TOTT, one I did have on hand which was very helpful for log extraction. I didnt understand the name the first time I was here and tonight I still dont! TFTC!!
On a Leap Forward hunting expidition with HansandLinda. Another great day for caching. TFTC The Mzungus
TFTC The Mzungus your cache Headhunters that we found today. In Adelaide for the Great Leap Forward. The day after the e Mega and still events to attend and caches to be found. Headed out with Wollaston late morning to find some caches before attending the lunch time event. A great day to be caching. Find Count: 18594 .
Cache is back! Metal screw, magnetic, base of pole. I repeat, base! Not inside. Also no tool required.Happy hunting!
Found while staying in Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward event. Loved this hide The Mzungus, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Found it Cheeky Crank1 she found it while we keep looking Thank you With DeafTeam
Went back 4 times. First time couldn't locate the cache. Then went home and read through previous logs and found some clues. Third time, we went to the poles and identified an object that I thought it's the cache, but different from what I expected after getting an idea from previous activities... Before leaving the location, we figured out this might be the "tool" instead of the actual cache. Therefore returned the fourth time and brought some string that kids made at home. I tightened the string on the "tool" and made sure it's strong enough. We couldn't see anything inside the pole, but still tried to fish what we believed was inside the pole. But the tool kept getting stuck... OMG... As I thought I've had enough and walked away, my daughter was still trying. Here I heard that "oh oh..." I looked at her and she told me she finally through the tool down the pole, but the string broke from the middle...It's a completcated feeling.Sorry gotta have to get the owner's attention and see if can be reset. All in all it was fun one.
Im currently away so cant fix pronto, but will get a new cache replacement sorted. It looks like people confused the tool with the actual cache
I detoured past this cache hoping to get a quick driveby (given the D-T 1.0-1.0 rating), however this cache feels like anything but? After arriving and having a search around the typical spots, I went back through a few logs and photos, and then focused my attention on those spots. I think I found the right hiding locations, but there was nothing that I could see, so I am not sure if it has been muggled or fallen? In any case, if where the cache is, then the Difficulty rating probably needs to be increased. Thanks The Mzungus for the cache placement.----------Visiting Adelaide from Brisbane for an extended weekend, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), baby Cottontail and I had the excuse of a friend's wedding elopement party, and it was an opportune time to enjoy Adelaide whilst the Tour Down Under finished up. The trip was mostly about catching up with friends and family, and only a handful of opportunistic geocaches were found (in contrast, the end of February Adelaide trip will have a different purpose).Today, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and the family visited the Adelaide Hills and the morning plan was to feed the animals at the Hahndorf Farm Barn. It was then an early lunch at Beerenberg (just up the road), and we decided to continue our drive south to Macclesfield to see how the winery where we got married was doing. By this time, baby Cottontail had immersed herself in a deep sleep, so a few geocaches within the area were visited, and we then returned home from the day's outing.During the evening once baby Cottontail went to sleep, I decided to head south to Glenelg and West Beach for a few targeted geocaches, and it was an enjoyable balmy night.
Great Hide

Quite sure I located where GZ is, but not having TOTT with me wasn't able to forage for container.
Road quite busy so care required.
Will try again when better prepared.

Peas and myself went off together to clean up a few green dots on our map in this area.
New smiley faces for our maps
A little tricky but we found it and with the use of a TOTT we were able to sign the log.

After replacing a nearby cache with a gallant group of cachers, Jolly0 & I went off to find a few more caches in the area.
Fortunately I had my grabby claw tool on board for this one. Not sure what tool at base of pole was going to help, as we didn't find any tools, but if trying to find this, you will at least need something with a hook on to drag it out of its hidey hole. And watch out for those head hunters. TFTC The Mzungus

Are we allowed to mark this as found even if we can't reach it or sign the log? I see some cachers claiming DNF as they couldn't reach it or sign, but others claiming it as found even though they couldn't retrieve the cache or sign
Southern Autumn adventure Day 27. Blackwood SA trip Day 8. Today was a day of chores and avoiding rain. I needed to find some help with my glasses so went across town and managed to find a few caches along the way. The time spent solving puzzles before heading off on this trip is paying off with many more caches in the close range ready to be found.
I spent way too long here, but failed to locate the cache. I hope it is there somewhere and I can get some help in the future.
Thanks.

The Stacey family found it… we almost gave up but found it in a great hiding place
Im en route to Christmas drinks in this area, and was attracted to this one because it’s D1/T1; how hard can it be? Then dismayed to read of need for TOTTs and of DNFs. Well I’m here now, so might as well have a look. I’m the first to arrive since recent maintenance, and can confirm the D1/T1 seems fair enough - it only gets harder if not returned correctly or is pushed out of reach in an attempt to extract. Hence I took care to return it exactly as found. Now on to the drinks! Thanks Mzungas!
Took a while, due to TOTT requirement I’d suggest the difficulty rating needs to be tweaked

4th visit... and I'm resting up to consider any 5th!
1. general scope about place - no tool found as per description
2. returned with a TOTT on a string... no good, stuck to the sides
3. returned with a TOTT = no good too short
4. returned with a TOTT = longer this time, still no good... not flexible along the extra length
hmm.... maybe im fishing in the wrong spot!

Well I dragged the pie_mom here tonight expecting to have a dnf but thanks to a very handy tool of the trade we came out with the find.
For future cachers trying to find this cache take note. The hint that says the tool at the base of the pole might help is no longer relevant… the tool was nowhere to be found. You WILL need to bring a tool of the trade if you wish to find this cache.

Out with makingpie. Fortunately we had an appropriate, and essential, TOTT with us, that was perfect for the job. Log signed, cache returned as found.
Due to the fact that this cache is just out of reach and that the tool mentioned in the cache description would not budge, I had to return with a specially designed home made TOTT. I am therefore suggesting to the CO that the degree of difficulty be increased slightly to match.
Having said that I do like the simplicity of this cache and that it made me think !
A favourite point awarded.

“Headed” here after a school pick up run with JayG10 for a quick find. Bought an appropriate TOTT for an easy extraction.
I’d been by here in the past before the cache was here. I recall their being more heads, so perhaps the headhunters have changed their ways. This was confirmed when I was going to take a photo and said “Say cheese.” One of them said “I’m vegan, so can we say something else?” I said no and was threatened with legal action if I took a photo, so none attached here.

Luckily, we had a magnetic grabber, so we're able to retrieve the cache.
Careful not to out it back too far in the hidey hole.
Great find. TFTC!

This one appears to be stuck in its hidey hole - if anybody can fish it out that would be great (I won’t disable it yet because it is still there.) I am away for a week so I’ll reset it when I get back.
No tool near gz!!!!!
A big day out today with a total of 47 finds, all found all over the place, from Brighton in Adelaide to blanchetown through the Barossa and the back roads. Not the best day to cache with continual rain though.
Thanks for the cache

This will need a CO check as the cache is pushed out of reach. Normally I would have something that may have helped but alas I left all this at home. Described is still there as well.
