Day seven of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Staying in Christchurch and spent the day at the Antarctic Center (with a few caches on the side!)Although it has been a while since I have played it, this puzzle wasn't a problem. The find was straight forward too. Thanks, Robmc.

26-Jan-24
With me having a similarly themed puzzle (although created quite differently), this one was very quickly solved. I was in the area this afternoon and, although there were many hint items as promised, I managed to find what I was after without any bother. TFTC, Nacho the pug.

26-Jan-24
Strong sun, and heavy wind. Didnt stop us to find this oneThanks

29-Dec-23
Out and about today with The Seagnoid knocking off some caches and Ad Labs around Christchurch. tS already had this one solved so we went and hunted down the cache. I added my name to the log and have just completed the solve, so able to log my log. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

28-Dec-23
A nice easy solve some time ago. That Darn Bear and I are caching this area of town for some reason that I am sure is a thing, but I know not what that thing is any more. so we found our selves here. The Bear went one way - and found a path. I went another way and found a geo trail. She followed the path. I followed the geotrail. And followed the geotrail some more. Naturally it was the bear that called out that she had found it, while I was still stomping through the long grass!I spent Christmas in Palmerston North, and New Year's will be at work, leaving this gap to visit a friend in Christchurch. Rainy today. Annoying. It's summer, for Pete's sake!

25-Nov-23
After the terrible weather yesterday we were pleased to see a little sun today.Day six of my trip away in Christchurch with tmann42 hunting caches.Signed all logs tm/ww NZNice quick find hereThank you for the placement and the time spent making the caches ready for us to find.

25-Nov-23
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. Day 6 - A bit of threatening cloud and spits of rain but didn't effect us overly much today.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location *Good find and hide here.*

01-Nov-23
Not sure what the colours represent but I worked it out anyway! Followed the geo-trail in to the cache, checked a few spots before I found it in a place I had already checked - should have looked properly the first time! Thanks for the puzzle and cache, I really enjoyed biking and caching around this area today.

16-Oct-23
Down from Whangarei for a few days visiting family and had to take the opportunity to grab a few caches as and when the chance presented itself. This was a nice easy solve and ended up not too far away from our accommodation, so on an exercize jaunt around the neighborhood, I stopped off to look for this one. It did take a while and many hint items searched before the cache was located though, TFTC

13-Aug-23
Checked a few trees before the cords took us to the right one tftc

13-Aug-23
Took a little longer than it should have. TFTC.

06-Aug-23
I’ve been trying to figure out how to solve this one for ages. It clicked a few weeks ago when I was hanging out with kozjah at the workingman’s club and something caught my eye. I figured it was a wild hunch but a quick internet search proved me right! I love it when they just fall into place like that. Cache is safe and sound. Sturdy container and logbook.

12-Sep-22
After finding another nearby mystery cache I decided to give this one a quick look "out in the field"
After a bit of pondering and a quickly dismissed initial idea, the right Google search word combo gave me the "A-HA" moment I needed.
Calcs were quickly done and cache was soon found- safe, dry and in good condition.

Thanks for the mystery cache- it was a good wee puzzle to do on the fly....
What on earth did we do before smartphones and Google?

14-Feb-22
Solved ages ago; need a puzzle cache today for a challenge, so stopped here on my way to my Stitch & B*tch group.
Co-ords were spot on. Thanks for the puzzle & the face, SirDidymus.

In the first place, I looked but initially missed; TFTC

Another solved another found. Not used to using a phone for caching - it works but definitely not as good as the GPS. TFTC

08-Apr-21
Mr C had an appointment over here so I suggested a picnic and day of caching after. We had fun on a lovely day with many walks. Enjoyed this puzzle and found the correct break to solve it. Found the cache but not the 1st or 2nd obvious hint item. Thanks for the cache SirDidymus.

Who would have thought there was sunken treasure just next to our daily stroll

12-Sep-20
I've solved a number of similar puzzles so the coordinates popped out quite quickly. Thanks Smile

02-Aug-20
Came away from here with a sad blue face a couple of years ago so thought I'd have another go today. Found really quickly today in the second place I looked - goodness knows how I missed it last time when I spent ages here. Always feels good to turn those frowns upside down. TFTC # 15,732

Nice easy find with Lytteltonwitch today. TFTC Cool

25-Jan-20
We have just got home from our time away and are starting to catch up on logging the caches we found while we were away.
We had finished our appointments so we decided to come to this area to have a look at a house that I used to holiday in when I was a child. This cache was very close to the house we went to see so we stopped to see if we could find it.
I had solved this one a long time ago but today was the first time we had been in the area with spare time and the opportunity to come and find it.
GK made the find he signed the log and returned it as he found it.
Then we went over and watched the surfers and some kites for a while. We are assuming that some big kites must have finished for today as there was only one big one left up flying. But there were dozens of smaller once darting around in the sky.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

13-Jan-20
We soon identified the theme of the puzzle and obtained coordinates. The coordinates were good and the cache was a quick easy find. TFTC

Found in the second tree checked, no issues here.
A little coincidentally I am writing this log while watching the subject matter on the telly!
Strange.
TFTC Sir Didymus.

A few days in the Christchurch area catching up with family in the Easter/ANZAC break and doing a bit of impromptu caching. Today’s targets were on the northern entrance and out by New Brighton.
Thanks to all COs.

We are in ChCh to collect some points for the current souvenir hunt: Cache Carnival. After we checked into our accommodation we went out to grab a few more before it got too dark. A nice puzzle that been solved for ages just waiting for us to come over this side of ChCh. We started our search early and checked at GZ then came back and checked it again on the way back passed and moved on. I looked up a few old logs and the one from Hinemoana lead us straight back to the correct spot. 3rd time lucky. Thanks for placing the cache for everyone's enjoyment Smile

26-Jan-19
Quickly solved and quickly found. TFTC

22-Sep-18
Found while enjoying a nice stroll by the seaside. I needed help to solve the coordinates and then my search didn't go very well, I found it the third time I searched this particular hint item. TFTC!

08-Aug-18
Nice late afternoon/early evening exploration! Certainly good to have a few extra minutes of daylight, and increasing! Second tree from where I started luckily! TFTC!!

08-Apr-18
I do like my greens but despite visiting them all at least twice I couldn't come up with the cache today. Probably more to do with my frame of mind today.

26-Mar-18
So many cabbage trees - the cache wasn’t at the one my gps liked best.

03-Dec-17
A busy place this beach is on a hot hot Sunday. I left the kids and Mrs Moose to play in the waves while I got a quick few caches and this was one of them. Another good little puzzle solved ages ago and fainlly around to collect. Cheers

FITW [@ivss_xx](http://coord.info/PR2BP88)

Found on a late night dog walk. Realised when we found it that we forgot our pen! Shock, horror!!! Surprised I left ivss_xx in the dark, wet bushes while me and the pup ran back to the car . Good find!

FITW GreenGoblinNZ

Couldn't figure out the puzzle for the love of me. In the end I found it easier to do some simple arithmetics to get the coordinates than to actually understand what are these colours and big break about.
We went on a late evening dog walk around the dunes and successfully located the cache despite the dark.

Was in the area and this popped up in my solve it find it list, a little bit of looking around and cache was in the hand... GPS was on the money but many cabbage trees to look at so was Glade for the quick find.

TFTC. An opportunity to wander around the foreshore was just what I needed after a crazy morning at work.
The tide was out, so lots of shells and birds.
Thanks SirDidymus for the puzzle and cache placement.

A nice Christchurch day to be out looking for some geocaches. Solved the puzzle and off we went. Stopped to watch some kite surfers and then we made the find. Bag is broken but cache is dry. TFTC

Awesome day to be out and about, and knowing we had the cords for GZ made a beeline and quick find at the first hint item we checked. Cheers!

10-Mar-17
No trouble making the solve of this puzzle. Today we were in the area to make the find. There were people nearby, but out of view, so the cache was quickly located. Thanks for this puzzle.

Nice easy puzzle (I like that!!)- and it became a nice quick find. Thanks Nacho for all your caches

01-Feb-17
Warfi did all the work for this one. Thanks for the challenge.

26-Jan-17
This has been in the solved list for quite a while, but it is also fairly close to home... so I was saving it for a day when I needed it for my streak... after dinner tonight was that time. Took a lot longer than it should have to solve... I knew what the general topic was all about... but couldn't figure it out... then all of a sudden several bits of info lined up perfectly and it became all so clear. TFTC (3385)

A quick find today after celebrating junior cacher's birthday in a nearby park. Tftc!

04-Dec-16
This puzzle brought back memories. And GZ was in an area I've not been before (I'm currently visiting from Kapiti). Thank you for the puzzle, and thanks for the cache. Most enjoyable.

26-Nov-16
Cheers for the quick find at GZ. I had no trouble with the puzzle, which is a sign of my mis-spent youth I guess. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.

Nice puzzle
Found on my afternoon walk. Lovely park. Thanks from Prague =D

25-Jun-16
Another puzzle that had been solved some time ago and so I was keen to find. As the subject matter is a little out of my area of expertise, I had to use google to solve it.
We walked on to this cache after finding The Philospher's Stone as it wasn't far away, but took a wrong turn so had to back track a little to try and stay on the paths as much as possible. StreetWalker overshot GZ a little and was investigating a wrong hint object, which left the way clear for me to make the find. Not many people out and about in this area today so no trouble with muggles. TFTC.

25-Jun-16
#12565. We figured that it was best to stay on tracks, but ended up taking the wrong track and had to do a bit of backtracking. Quick find once at GZ. TFTC.

Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68, Katsukka and tanjuli (+husband) and had great time. We used TVVK Fin (that is tanjuli, vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.

Thanks for the cache.

Greetings from Finland.

31-Oct-15
Day #7 geocaching in NZ in good company (=tanjuli + husband, vipema, Veke68 & Katsukka = TVVK-FIN in the logbooks, most of the time), our last full day in Christchurch &NZ Sad. Had a great time, enjoyed the sunny & warm spring day and found a lot of caches + saw so many interesting/beautiful places. Smile

Thank you!!!!

31-Oct-15
Mega trip to NZ with vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka, logged as TVVKFIN. Last full day in Christchurch, all good things must come to an end Sad. Thanks for the cache.

31-Oct-15
Last day of caching holiday in New Zealand with Tanjuli, Vipema and Katsukka.
Some nice caces more and then it's time to go home.

We logged mostly only TVVK-FIN to save space in the logbook.

Thanks!!

01-Aug-15
My last for the day and found it under the second hint item that I looked at.

20-Jul-15
There used to be a TV game show in the UK with the same name as this cache and it featured the same thing that was used in this puzzle. It is one of those things that I love watching but am useless at myself.
Anyway, after completing Nacho's series in the nearby park we decided to grab this cache before heading off for lunch. The cache was soon found. TFTC.

10-May-15
I seem to go through phases of solving puzzle clues and then leave them alone for a while and I am a cacher with a very small brain and most of them are just too anal for me to understand. I had just solved a similar sevren cache with the same theme, so this was quick to align and off for a quick find.

24-Jan-15
Neat puzzle. Solved easily, cache also located fairly quickly. Thanks for the entertainment.

07-Sep-14
Took a bit of a hunt around all of the hint items. Should have investigated fully where the gps was pointing. The coordinates are good. Thanks for the hide and puzzle.

27-Aug-14
Was onto an idea on how to solve the puzzle reasonably quickly after publication, and it wasn't long until I had a good looking set of co-ordinates. Totally went the long way to the GZ today after parking close by. Discovered the handy path AFTER I made the find. Typical Smile Thanks for the puzzle, and the cache.

23-Aug-14
Over this way to complete the "Zombie" wherigo. Solved the puzzle when it was first published which was fairly straight forward as was the hide, the GPS pointed straight to it for a quick find. TFTC

Back at work after a few sick days, but wasn't up to cycling, so took the car today.

Taking the car to work does have its benefits however. One of which being I can find caches on the eastern side of chch, and justify the driving distance, as from work, I'm already halfway there! And given the lunch break is compulsory, I'm not wasting any extra time!

Last time I came out this way though, I had pretty much found the last of the caches on this side of town already!!
But with a few new ones, which I had solved the puzzles for earlier in the week, I was set! Yippee!

Decided on this one, given I don't have the hint for the other, just to see if I could get an idea of the CO's hiding style before attempting the one without a hint!

And cache was in the very first place I looked!! Easy peasy, and back to work!

Consec caching day # 656

TFTC!! Smile

Loved the puzzle and today was the perfect day to find it.

02-Aug-14
Thanks for all of the lovely comments! This is the first cache I have placed and I now feel confident to go place some more! Watch this space......
Happy caching!
Big Grin

01-Aug-14
Thanks SirDidymus, I now have three of the 7 Souvenirs of August. In the end I earned four of them today - Explorer, Sightseer, Puzzler, Collector - just the Nature Lover (I see I could just do an Earthcache to get this) and Socialiser to go and I get the special. Roll on the events!
I'm embarrassed to say I needed a wee nudge to solve the puzzle - so obvious when you know! The cache was located at the second hint item I checked. All nice and dry in there. Smile

25-Jul-14
We had one tiny hint, and managed to quickly work out the Puzzle,a good excuse to come back to our old stamping ground in New Brighton. Not sure if someone was watching us from over the Road,as their windows look over GZ.Quickly found and we scarped just as quick.TFTH

22-Jul-14
A large hint from Saturday's event and off we went. After working through my kind of puzzle that is!!
Really enjoyed this and a quickish find on the huge elephant tracks. Thank you.

21-Jul-14
Second caching stop on this morning's coolish cyclocache ride from Spencer Park, down through Bottlelake Forest to New Brighton. When I received my lateish notification of publication I took one look at the puzzle and my tired brain screamed, "No way. I'm too tired. Call me tomorrow." So I printed it out and put it aside. But then as I supped my late night Milo I cast my eyes over it and thought, "I'll assume the cache is not too far from the published coords" and using that as a basis soon had some pausable coords. But with the computer shut down for the night I just entered my answer into one of my gps's. "Oh, my solution can't be right as there normally are no cabbage trees growing in sea water"! Sad At that stage I retired for the night.

Next morning during breakfast I had another look and found that by changing the value of one colour, that an entirely plausable answer appeared, particularly when loaded into Google Earth. Smile Later, at the afternoon caching event the CO dropped a large hint, which had simply never occured to me, even though it was pretty obvious on the web page. Doh. Red Face[B)] Still, that just made me feel pretty good as it confirmed that my brain had been up to the task. [^]

Thanks for the brain workout and the cache SirDidymus.

20-Jul-14
I stood around taking photos while bugzptr went bush. A nice wee puzzle and cache.

20-Jul-14
After needing quite a large hint from the CO I eventually solved this one.
Set out early on a bit of a hunt, GPS didn't settle and led me to the cache in the most annoying way possible. Luckily soon located and signed. TFTC.

20-Jul-14
A few hints at the event and the puzzle was solved. We just had to follow the elephant tracks through the long grass to find the cache. TFTC

19-Jul-14
Righteous, righteous!!!
Stoked, took a few wipe outs and had to duck dive to find the right wave for this puzzle. This shouldn't be too gnarly to hang ten, as I said I was stoked to find the waves were off the hook and the puzzle was soon to hand.
Nice themed puzzle. The cachelets and I needed some fresh air so we headed out to check the surf. We had a patch of sun in between the rain. Cache was quick to hand and swaps made. We made a dash to the beach to poke at this and that, write our names on the beach. Headed home and just made it as it started to pour.

Hang loose brah.

Thanks for the cache.

Didnt spot the new puzzle till very late. Quick easy solve...still no online logs; and i was feeling twitchy, knew id be too late for a ftf but i headed out all the same. Saw tell tale footprints approaching gz and wasnt surprised to be 2tf. Quick find on a brisk night. Cheers.

This one had me hanging out for 10 but i managed to avoid a wipeout and get the puzzle sorted.
Got to gz and struggled to find the cache and searvhed a number of the hint items a few times. Gps was telling me that one item was more likely and eventually I found the cache right there. I took the geocoin as it seemed appropriate.
{FTF} at 9.25 pm
Got startled by a walker as I went back to the track after replacing the cache.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache
