23 September 2024 3:15pmOut with the kids this morning, getting some driving hours up for my L-plater. Apparently, the only decent camping spot was close to this area, so we dropped by the lake here and found a couple of caches with one of my daughter and her new caching name. Thanks for the caches in this area.Kids ran off and found this one pretty quickly.
Stopped at the side of the road and hopped out of the car. I was still on the page of the last geocache I was doing. Followed the gravel path and had a bit of a look around. Found a structure from an image I looked at and rushed over. I remembered the hint and saw the cache from the wrong side (and crashed into a spiderweb), ran to the other side to get the cache (running right into another - bigger - web) and logged my find. Ironically I get upset at my muggle friend for saying geocache like geo-cash because apparently "you get cash in geocaches" which I have never witnessed before. In the container however I found 50 cents...
Completing the drive around Lake Sampsonvale adventure lab with Sniggypop and finding a few caches on our travels.
2666 - After doing the Wherigo cache at Bullocky Rest, I headed for a short stroll to find this one. From a distance I spotted the likely hiding spot and walked up to it and found the cache in great condition at 3:16pm. I was surprised that the logbook was in great condition and bone dry, when you see some others in these kind of containers wet, even if they are enclosed in a plastic bag. Thanks for the cache and this series Orange Crew,
We found it is easier to really less on the phone and look more with your eyes
An easy find but there was a spider scare retrieving the cache and then a snake scare getting back to the car! TFTC
No pen inside, couldn't sign, but "now I'm driving the bus! You're Batman! I am Batman!"
After 2 blue faces I was really happy to get a smiley today tftc , it’s in good condition
Thanks for placing this cache. It was nearby a plaque we were reading. All good with placement and contents.
After a lovely brunch with the family for Easter and celebrating mum's birthday, geohubby and I spent some relaxing time at home before heading out for an afternoon of caching and fresh air. Wanting to clear some local caches, I thought heading to the dam would be a great chance for some quality time, and awesome scenery. I wasn't wrong.
Next up was this one. I let geohubby lead the way and he quickly located the cache and we signed the log and replaced it as found. TFTC.

What a great find with CaptainKirki for my 100th cache. Take a little walk after it across the road if you would like to see some Great Lake views.
Being relatively new to this craze, I still need a few more tree fishing caches to qualify for some nasty challenge. So this afternoon I took a solo drive out to Lake Samsonvale, where this tree fishing thing is popular.
Along the way, I grabbed the odd non tree fishing cache as I passed including this one. It is very muggy this afternoon and was glad this was only a short walk from where I had parked
Many thanks Orange Crew

Orange Crew I found your cache Seinfeld Classics: You Gotta See The Baby on 1/1/2023, 2:05 pm. This is my find 4609 and find # 7 today. No problems locating this cache with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Didn't take too long to find and wasn't too hard and was my first ever find thanks for the hide!
I had a lovely morning in the area finding some caches and this is one I found all snug in its hiding place in the beautiful area. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Orange Crew for the hide.
Sandra took the geomonsters to the pictures this morning to see the Minions: The Rise of Gru, so I headed out to check out the caches over at Clear Mountain.
This was a nice quick cache on the way to get my eye in.
Dropped off a TB I've had for a while.
Thanks!!

If you had asked me I would say I probably watched most Seinfeld episodes, but I was not what you would consider to be a fan. Having done three of the series today I do recall the phrases from the episodes though.
Another quick find.
Another quick find.
Out and about with Duppers searching for caches. Another found signed and returned to it's location. TFTC
A bit unsure what I’d find after the massive weather events of last weekend. But this one was in perfect condition
Thanks for placing the cache

With afternoon plans at home, I managed to escape for a visit in Joyner. I planned on completing a walk at Forgan Cove targeting the *A Dam Fine Walk* series at Lake Samsonvale / North Pine Dam. It was already quite hot when I arrived, but there were enough trees to take the majority of the walk under shadow. After looping back to the car, I just had enough time in fishing for a couple of tree geocaches, and calling into Bullocky Rest to complete the *Celebrate 20 Years of Geocaching* Wherigo adventure.
I somewhat grew up with Seinfeld, and so very familiar with the classic quotes of the show, including this one. I don't think I've ever used this line though with the most recent Warren addition.
This geocache wasn't too far away, and I thought I'd be able to make a quick jog of it without using up too much of my time with needing to be home. Upon arriving at GZ, I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although I found a slight discrepancy with the physical logbook from that online. Thanks Orange Crew for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
P.s. I didn't realise that there was a disabled multi-cache near here since it was disabled during my visit (and thus not showing on my map). Luckily I took a photo of the relevant plaque though.

I spotted it as I approached and left it covered by a little more camo. Thanks for the cache
Stopped nearby for the multi so took a short walk to this cache. Found no problem and signed the log. I do like Seinfeld, used to watch it a lot in its hey day. Tftc Orange Crew
