Out for a fund day of caching on some of the bay islands. All caches were quickly located and our names added to the logs. TFTC
Great day to be island hopping and finding caches along the way. Many thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
Out caching today visiting the Bayside Islands with joojoo57 and Selva Girls. Great weather hopping on and off the ferry of the 4 islands we visited. Found the cache and signed the log as JARS. TFTC
Out and about enjoying the sunshine today. A little too hot for a hike, so we ventured to the islands. What a great choice! Lovely cache, thanks for taking me here warramoos.
Wonderful day for a stroll on this beautiful island and finding some caches. TFTC
A nice day for a walk around this beautiful island. Heading north on our boat to Brisbane. Thanks.
Day 16 of our attempt to get the new souvenirs. Our longest streak up until now was 10 days. So thanks to the new souvenirs we have now bettered it!! But I do think we can miss a few days and still get the souvenirs.
Dog and house sitting for friends at Redland Bay for 2 weeks so took the opportunity to cache in a different area.
Decided to come to these bay islands today which we have never been to. We brought our bikes and our geo daughter came with us. Due to a late start we only did Russell and Karragarra islands and left the others for another day.
Beautiful cycling and caching weather
Happy to find a cache 30kms from home so we don’t clean up all our close ones.
Thanks warramoos for the cache.

Had a Lovely day out catching the ferry from Redland bay to karragarra island with the Grey Parrots...aka mum and dad. . What a total babe of an island. Have grown up in the Redlands, but never made it over here. Thanks so much for the cache!!
Young Luke retrieved this one for us, so we left some more loot in the container after adding to the log book. Also left Holly-day 2022 trackable. before heading down to the shoreline. TFTC, warramoos. It was nice to get a larger cache to add swaps etc. Much better for th boys than just a micro.
Chamad and I both had a spare day today and were looking at options for a ride as Mr TT9 usually enjoys a ride more than Miss TT11 (who was off on scout camp). Chamad mentioned taking the bikes on the ferries and doing the 4 islands to complete the new AL. I have often thought of taking the kids to Coochiemudlo to do caching with the bikes, so this seemed like the perfect practice.
The weather was hot but perfect. Some of the hills on the islands were a bit much for Mr9, but he pushed through and gave it his all. There was a lot of whinging and giving up at times, but at the end he actually said he had a really good day. So did I.
Except now, as I am logging these finds, he is covered in Calamine Lotion. Either his swim or the lie down on a towel in the playground resulted in almost his whole body covered in bites of some kind. Glad it took hours for them to show up or it may have been a painful ride home. Bike, ferry, car....we travelled them all today.

So a while back, I had this great adventure and thought what a great day’s outing it would be for me and the girls. We could take the bikes, island hope on the ferry’s, grab a few caches in the bay and do an adventure lab as well. Should take approximately 4 hrs of caching plus a lunch and drinks ok 5 hours. We could have some lunch at one of the islands and even take in a swim. Well life deals some bad cards some days, so the idea got shelved. That was until I got a phone call from triple turmoil saying she and Rylie had a free day and was at a loose end, hmmm. So I pitched an idea at her and the next thing we were set.
Today we did just that, jumped on the ferry and went to Russel first, grabbed the adventure lab and then a lonnng bike ride to grab a cache. Back on the next ferry to lamb, easy grab a cache and a couple of labs. Back on the next ferry to Macleay, grab a couple of labs. Back on the next ferry to Karragarra. Here we had a swim, a bike ride and finished the days outing, labs done, caches done, awesome. The ferry service was just great and the operators were very helpful in telling us what to do with our bikes.
It was a very nice day and a great days outing, thank you to the CO’s for the caches and the lab. We signed all logs and were happy to find all caches today.
So here we are on the final island and finally a bit of flat island to ride around. Easy find here thank you.

Out and about on the bike collecting caches on the Bay Islands and completing the AL along the way.
Now after arriving at the nearby event it was time to seek out the cluster of new and the odd not so new cache on this Island . Joined here by Qea Sera we soon had the cache in hand.

Saturday. The highlight of this day was the Fang event, between that and the weather which changed from Brisbane to Tully half way through, I was surprised to find I had managed to get the SP name into this log.
This was the 5th of 9 caches logged on this outing.
Thanks ***warramoos*** for showing us this place

I am quite fond of this little island and I'm enjoying the peace and friendliness. This cache was wet but by the end of today it has a new log and absorb sachet to keep it going, I am happy our community of geocaches takes care of each other and the caches in our game, now off to the Community Celebration Event!
Venture to the end of the isle with Nobby and Gcoven to collect this cache and realised the earth isn't flat nor does it just drop off to nothing. After a few tentative steps to the water's edge, ensuring the water was in fact a mirage hiding a dramatic drop off, took in the ambience of the area and thankful the wind was carrying away any miniature winged blood suckers. All good with this cache and thanks warramoos.
It's a very many years since I last visited this island and found all the geocaches here. But today, I am attending a [Community Celebration Event](https://coord.info/GC8HK43) on Karragarra, so will be sure to find all the geocaches too.
After checking in at the event and having a chat for a while, I decided to motor off for some solo geocaching. A lot of other attendees had done the same.
For the transit, I had brought my less-than-a-week old electric scooter across to chew through the kilometres. Truthfully, I didn't think it made me any quicker than those on foot as I have a tendency to stop and look at things an awful lot.
Being the oldest geocache on the island (and the farthest), I came here first. Blasting down the roads, overtaking groups of walkers and parking near GZ. It took just a minute to locate the geocache, sign the logbook and replace all as found just before midday. As I left, another group arrived.
Karragarra is a quirky, pretty and enjoyable island. It was wonderful to visit, and I'm glad I ventured out here to find this geocache too. Thanks for bringing me here, warramoos

Mrs Slow Puncture told me about the event here today and we have been planning some island hopping for some time . Today she unfortunately could not make it but Mr Slow Puncture could. The weather was fine when we got there but we could see some big clouds in the distance so i decided to get going quick. Right at the end of the island and what a nice spot. The people living here are very lucky. On approach i met Ruzzelz and he quickly spotted the cache. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Some of the others had visited before so just the delightful Nobby , Team ARF and myself locating and signing this one. End of the walk so around we go. TFTC
Found with goldielover today while attending an event. Great little island you have here.

We came across to the Island with Crew 153 to join in at the event and do some caching with some of the other attendees.
Some of the KarraTeam had found this one previously and waited back at the previous cache while the rest of us headed down the road for a quick find here.

we searched for over 20 mins here but sadly found nothing and got destroyed my mosquitos in the process Has anyone got any hints?
Thanks For the cache. Great location. Fantastic little island. Visiting Karragarra Island while friends are breaking ground for their new home. Beautiful place. Signed log and returned cache to its home.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I spent the day exploring Southern Moreton Bay Islands, and targeting the *Southern Moreton Bay Saunter* Adventure Lab. I had not visited these islands before, and it was actually easier than I thought travelling via the Bay Islands Passenger Ferry, and we then explored the four islands: Russell, Macleay, Karragarra and Lamb island. The smaller islands were more enjoyable with less vehicles and more quirky houses, whilst the larger islands just felt like suburb extensions to the mainland. We stopped off for an ice-cream at Lamb Island, whilst after riding a fair distance in Russell Island grabbing a geocache, we stopped for a late lunch, before returning back to Redland Bay.
We rode our bikes the length of Karragarra Island, making a U-turn at this geocache location. There were some nice views of neighbouring island, Russell Island, from here. I was walking around for a few minutes studying various trees, when [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) called out from behind me that she had found it. The cache container was in good shape, with the newer logbook in good condition still, but the original logbook is rather damp. Thanks warramoos for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

We could see why you wished to place this cache to celebrate living on the island for the previous year. It's such a lovely island and we imagine the lifestyle is to be envied. Thanks for placing this cache which encouraged us to see more of the island that we would have otherwise.
Cheers and happy caching!

Got this one on our meander of the island. Did it in conjunction with the AL. Thanks

It was Wacky Wednesday but both my usual WW caching partners were unavailable today. So the lovely Fangsoki decided to be my honorary partner today, and take me to Karragarra and Lamb Islands between school hours, promising me that Karragarra is a gorgeous island.
Well upon arrival it was apparent just how correct he was! Such a pretty little island, and the little undercover area with flowers all around that greeted us as first sight was such a warming welcome to the island. And around the island were gardens filled with pretty flowers. There were many houses for sale on the island, and we did contemplate how lovely and stress free it would be to live in such a location.
The walk here was very pleasant, and it wasn’t too long before we arrived here. A quick find at GZ, and after signing the logbook, we sat down on the nearby cement for a short while, enjoying the peace and quiet as we looked across the water. Unfortunately the midges were a little excited by our visit, so we didn’t stop too long before enjoying the lovely walk back to the ferry stop.
Thanks for the cache warramoos.

This was the last remaining unfound cache for me on the islands on South Moreton Bay (excluding Coochie) and after finding the other one I was not looking forward to the extra walk to get to this one but there was a goal at the end so it had to be done.
I must admit that Karragarra is my pick of the islands and it appears that quite a few other people must think the same.
The cache was quickly retrieved.

Greetings from the UK
Decided to spend the day on the Island ferry service from Redland Bay where we are staying.
Took the pleasant stroll along the Esplanade - virtually deserted today.
Then took in Sunset Strip and Treasure Island Ave. to GZ.
Straightforward find.
Called in to the delightful toilets on the way back.

We are out and about enjoying the loan of our son's jetski today. Having found all the island caches a few years ago we were pleased to see a few newish ones for us to find. We tied the ski up to a handy sign close to the beach and headed over to GZ. What a lovely place to live! Having read the description and the hint we soon made the find. All nice and dry in here. TFTC.
Pprime and I decided to visit the Bay Islands - as neither of us had been here before.
Karragarra was our first stop. To get to this cache, we high tailed with two feet and a heart beat. It certainly is a quaint little island. Everyone was friendly.. give us a wave as we made our way to GZ.
We finally arrived at GZ and started the hunt. Pprime led the way. I suggested an area.. but Pprime was already all over it and a cache soon came to light. The cache was in good condition.
We signed the log and re-hid it as found. We looked over at Russell Island - which we would be visiting later.
Our trip back memorable as a lovely lady stopped and offered us a lift. I was a little taken aback.. as I had not accepted a lift from a stranger since the 1990s. But Pprime and I can take care of ourselves.. and the lady was on the opposite side of the "threatening" spectrum.
We accepted her gracious invitation and chatted about the island its inhabitants all the way back to the ferry terminal. What a wonderful little island.. with equally wonderful inhabitants. A memorable find. TFTC warramoos

Not feeling very well, still, but I was going a bit stir crazy after a few weeks cooped up at home, so I convinced Fangsoki to take me to the Bay Islands for a little wander. (well, ok, he doesn't take much convincing). Never been here, so worth the look. The sun was out, the wind was down, the sea air beckoned ... so off we went and caught an early ferry to Island number #1, Karragarra. Possibly my favourite of the day actually.
The locals waved as they passed by on business, or more often a leisurely stroll usually with dog(s). Friendly bunch. We'd checked out a couple of previous cache hides on the island first - yes empty - and then wandered down the length of the island to this spot. Easy find at GZ.
Next closest cache? Nope, not swimming there today, we'll go back the other way and take the next ferry. Another of the friendly locals spotted us and we got a four wheel journey to the ferry terminal. I did say the locals were friendly.
Thanks for placing this cache, warramoos. Found in good condition.

We had a great time finding our first Geocache. Lovely time on Karragarra with Gran & Pop.
teamdfl and I are tripping around the islands today, making use of the Redland Bay ferry service. Very pleased they let us take our bikes on board!
We had limited time between ferries so our ride to this one was pretty rapid It was a quick find, thank goodness [^] and we raced back to the wharf with 2 minutes to spare. TFTC, warramoos.

Out and about with IolantheK on another freaky Friday. A nice cruisey day. A great day out with the geocycles and the ferries.
We had planned to do this a while ago, but the weather that day was terrible. The forecast was not good for today either, but at least it would be warm even if it did rain.
We were hoping for a quick find here so that we could make it back for the next ferry. We split up and began to hunt the possible hidey spots. I chose wisely and soon found the cache.
Took the TB to move it along.

After a little looking the mrs found it where it said it would be.put in shells from other cache.took little bouncy ball.
FTF can't believe it. Have been watching wondering where Frank (culture50) is, but see it was probably too windy to come in the kayak yesterday. When I got to the park there was a guy with a push bike here but he either DNF, or was just enjoying the scenery. TNLN TFTC from prob your nearest caching neighbour.
