We are staying at Omarama and had a perfect day to head towards Benmore Power Station on our bikes bagging caches on the way. Many thanks for placing them in interesting places.
Knocking off a few more of this series. Biked from Lake Ohau, see how far I get. Picked up TB.
Our first night in Omarama and took the opportunity to go for an afternoon run around the town. I would have loved to keep running down this road collecting this series but it probably requires a bicycle rather than jogger. TFTC
Did two small sections of A2O today. No one on bike mid afternoon and hardly any cars.
Day5 on the A20 cycle ride from Omarama to Otematata (38km). The weather started off cool and cloudy but was soon scorching hot. A quick find here before getting back on our bikes and heading off down the trail. TFTC
Spotted this as i pulled up, so covered it just a little bit more when i put it back.
I left a pet rock - a dog.
Thanks for putting this here for me to find

On a trip south from Tauranga. Nice to collect smiles along the way. Camped up in omaramara so a good opportunity to gather some of these. All good here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Logged with permission. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Stayed the night at the DOC freedom camping spot Across the bridge. After a wet day yesterday we decided to go for a bike ride and collect a few caches.
With it drizzling half way through our route we were hoping for some fast finds.
Nice easy find.

Well found it! I’m afraid I had nothing to put in it so I put what I got back in, but the geocache near it has something good
Day 2 of our A2O odyssey. A short day, Omarama to Otematata due to the number of caches that needed to be found. Three “Wills” slowed me down but I got there in the end.

Needs maintenance as the log is gone container was out in the open we’ve put it back and put some things back in it
#19330. Getting rather hungry (we were well overdue for lunch), but still time for a couple more drive bys (just had to use a bit of "will" power to stave off the hunger pangs a little longer). TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our Waitangi weekend to Kurow and surrounds. Today we are doing a loop trip, travelling the road east of Lake Aviemore, then up to Omarama for a late lunch back south to Kurow, finding 55 caches along the way.
Another quick park 'n grab en route to Omarama. TFTC.

On a roadie round-trip from invercargill up through the pigroot, out in the back country onto this road. Heading to Omarama. One of the couple bike caches before spending the night in town. Quick find tftc
Last cache of the day and last cache of our stay. Had such a fantastic time here. Hope to come back, soon. TFTC.
After booking into my accommodation i thought I'd see how far i get along the trail. Thanks hill55

Quick find. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2332
An enjoyable weekend enjoying the scenic McKenzie area, and finding some great caches along the way. On the bike for a few of the A2O trails. Perfect day for a ride. TFTC
Treating a few of these as park and grabs. Luckily not too much traffic so we can park the bus on the grass. TFTC
Regretting going out again for a "few" more caches. Its hit and I'm tired. Thanks for the cache hill55
Day 3 of a 4 day road trip. My mission on this trip was to travel South and West and then East and North. This road trip was all about the numbers but not quite in the usual way. In fact it was hours and hours spent on the road in search of minutes (and caches). I'm filling in gaps in my 'minutes' found across New Zealand in order to complete the 400 minutes challenge for the cache GC7YQZ8 - at the start of this trip I had a 52 minute gap to fill. First of a few of these caches that I found today. TFTC, Biggles.
Great weather today to find some caches and of course also found.
Thanks for placing the caches.

Had the opportunity for a long weekend in the area, was great to be back picking up unfound caches and some new ones. Many thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches. My apologies for the generic logging!
Many thanks to all the COs who helped make our geocaching holiday a great success
We left home early April and returned 21 May 2018. We toured from our home base up to a wedding in North Taranaki then carried on heading south right down through wellington and on down the west coast and back up via the eastern side of the alps some times going around in circles. Our aim was to get as many smiley faces on the puzzle caches that we had solved but of course stopping for many traditionals, multies and others as we went. some time we biked the bike trails or walked but mostly by campervan. we enjoyed the quite back country roads, many of them were metal but we just travelled along slowly going from cache to cache. Most caches were in good condition and I will remark if we thought it needs maintence etc.

It amazes me that with the number of people doing this trail, these caches have not been disturbed. This one was quite visible so after signing we replaced its camo. Thanks for all these.
On our daily trip from Lake Tekapo to Oamaru, we found some caches like this one. Thanks for it!
Cheers

Jenny and I found this cache whilst on a recent tour of North and South Islands, New Zealand. Log signed and cache replaced as found. tftc. Greetings from Manchester, UK.
Last night, Lt. Caine and I parked at a campground nearby. While checking on the route for the next day we saw quite a good number of geocaches along the way. As we had some time for the next day and didnt want to be in Oamaru too early, we figured we might just break our "most caches per day" record. We headed down the highway with multiple stops for the caches, went to Benmore peninsula and the elephant rocks afterwards. The reward? A couple of scratches, stunning views and 42 caches to add to our found lists! Thanks for hiding!
#no. 4 / 42 today

Last night, ReCached and I parked our awesome campervan next to the Ahuriri River between Omarama and Twizel. While we were planning the next day, we noticed a bunch of geocaches on the way to Otematata as well as on the Benmore Peninsula Track. We love Geocaching and we felt the need to decelerate our journey a little bit - an easy task with all those awesome containers out there! To round off the day, we also stopped at the gigantic Elephant Rocks near Duntroon. At the end of day, we managed to find 42 geocaches. TFTC hill55!
