Logs
Came back with a container in fact two one inside for extra protection. The log was in good condition surprising as the container had disintegrated! All good now.
We are staying at Omarama and had a perfect day to head towards Benmore Power Station on our bikes bagging caches on the way. Many thanks for placing them in interesting places. The container is badly damaged and probably needs replacing.
Quick find. I made a note about this but can't remember what it was. I think this was the broken cache.
It was a beautiful day to be out caching - especially with no bikers and no walkers. T4tc
Our first night in Omarama and took the opportunity to go for an afternoon run around the town. I would have loved to keep running down this road collecting this series but it probably requires a bicycle rather than jogger. TFTC
Did two small sections of A2O today. No one on bike mid afternoon and hardly any cars.
Day5 on the A20 cycle ride from Omarama to Otematata (38km). The weather started off cool and cloudy but was soon scorching hot. A quick find here avoiding the prickly rose hip bush, before getting back on our bikes and heading off down the trail. TFTC
On a trip south from Tauranga. Nice to collect smiles along the way. Camped up in omaramara so a good opportunity to gather some of these. All good here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Logged with permission. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Stayed the night at the DOC freedom camping spot Across the bridge. After a wet day yesterday we decided to go for a bike ride and collect a few caches.
With it drizzling half way through our route we were hoping for some fast finds.
A nice easy find

Day 2 of our A2O odyssey. A short day, Omarama to Otematata due to the number of caches that needed to be found.
A quick find here. TFTC

#19329. We managed to find good parking for OM/OT 3 then 2 then 1, so stopped to find each of them en route to lunch. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our Waitangi weekend to Kurow and surrounds. Today we are doing a loop trip, travelling the road east of Lake Aviemore, then up to Omarama for a late lunch back south to Kurow, finding 55 caches along the way.
Time for a few OM/OT caches as we near Omarama and lunch . A good pull off area for the car, and a quick find. TFTC.

Quick find. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2331
An enjoyable weekend enjoying the scenic McKenzie area, and finding some great caches along the way. On the bike for a few of the A2O trails. Perfect day for a ride. TFTC
Treating a few of these as park and grabs. Luckily not too much traffic so we can park the bus on the grass. TFTC
Hello from Perth WA
We found this while on our South Island adventure.
Wish we had bikes. We're gathering them as P&G's.

Had the opportunity for a long weekend in the area, was great to be back picking up unfound caches and some new ones. Many thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches. My apologies for the generic logging!
Many thanks to all the COs who helped make our geocaching holiday a great success
We left home early April and returned 21 May 2018. We toured from our home base up to a wedding in North Taranaki then carried on heading south right down through wellington and on down the west coast and back up via the eastern side of the alps some times going around in circles. Our aim was to get as many smiley faces on the puzzle caches that we had solved but of course stopping for many traditionals, multies and others as we went. some time we biked the bike trails or walked but mostly by campervan. we enjoyed the quite back country roads, many of them were metal but we just travelled along slowly going from cache to cache. Most caches were in good condition and I will remark if we thought it needs maintence etc.

This one was right out in the open, still dry though. After signing we replaced in its (most likely location.
On our daily trip from Lake Tekapo to Oamaru, we found some caches like this one. Thanks for it!
Cheers

Jenny and I found this cache whilst on a recent tour of North and South Islands, New Zealand. Log signed and cache replaced as found. tftc. Greetings from Manchester, UK.
Last night, Lt. Caine and I parked at a campground nearby. While checking on the route for the next day we saw quite a good number of geocaches along the way. As we had some time for the next day and didnt want to be in Oamaru too early, we figured we might just break our "most caches per day" record. We headed down the highway with multiple stops for the caches, went to Benmore peninsula and the elephant rocks afterwards. The reward? A couple of scratches, stunning views and 42 caches to add to our found lists! Thanks for hiding!
#no. 5 / 42 today

Last night, ReCached and I parked our awesome campervan next to the Ahuriri River between Omarama and Twizel. While we were planning the next day, we noticed a bunch of geocaches on the way to Otematata as well as on the Benmore Peninsula Track. We love Geocaching and we felt the need to decelerate our journey a little bit - an easy task with all those awesome containers out there! To round off the day, we also stopped at the gigantic Elephant Rocks near Duntroon. At the end of day, we managed to find 42 geocaches. TFTC hill55!

I was headed to a Girl Guide training in Queenstown that was also as an escape after my mothers funeral yesterday. Decided to finish the last few of these that I missed on my trip in October on way to GeoFest.
In Omarama for a caching/tramping weekend with BCD. After a change in plans due to the weather it meant another day exploring the area and lots more caching! A quick find. TFTC
if a recall correctly there were several rocks to choose from. Quickly narrowed it down and then a quick search and found it.
Staying in Omarama overnight, so headed out after dinner into the chill night air to look for a few more caches. With the good clue, cache was a quick find. TFTC
On a mission from Rolleston to Tekapo, Twizel, Omarama, Kurow, Waimate and home again. Found over 100 caches, which was the goal for the day. A bit drizzly for a start but beautiful sunshine through the Mackenzie. Thanks to all the CO's and apologies for the cut and paste.
I found so many caches today, that I weite one text for all of them. I cycle the A2 bike ride. Never met so many caches on a treck. Thank you and greetings from Germany.
Day # 6 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
I had so much looked forward to return to this beautiful country, and now I'm here again - awesome!
Today's tour took me from beautiful Cromwell via Omarama, Otematata am Kurow to beautiful Timaru.
I passed along some great lakes [^] that showed stunning views , inviting for a photo-stop or for a little rest . And - best of all! - the sun was shining all day today [^].
Along the road there were quite a few treasures waiting to be discovered
The OM/OT-series at Omarama catched my eyes and I decided to go for it.
Realized quickly, that the bicycle-trail is not really made for (even small) green cars [B)] - so I coul not go for every box...
But I ended up with 15 of 20 boxes of the series - great! [^] A special thanks [:X] goes out to hill55 - and a favorite-point at #20 [^].
Hey - Otago and Canterbury - you have awesome caches [^] [:X]!
A big thanks to all Owners involved [:X] [:X] for hiding and maintaining. [^]
Cheers from Germany

Cycling from Lake Ohau to Omarama, and after finding a motel for the night, naturally we had to find a few caches . Tftc!
Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
Today we decided on a multi-day tour, first stop going from Omarama
Geraldine Fairlie Lake Tekapo, Pukaki lake, on the road we will be forced to slow down because before us are carrying a full house on a truck, and no one can overtake, just where the road allows it we will go ahead, unique experience.
sunny day and the many tourists lakes, very beautiful places.
On the way we will stop looking for some cache
Greetings from Italy
