Lisa, from our team, is still working on a dairy farm close to the cache. Since today was her day off, she wandered around a bit and when she looked at her smartphone, she saw that there was a cache 20m away. She decided to search for it. After a short time she founde the cache and insert our name into the logbook.

To bring a bit of culture into our lives, I am attaching the poem of the day to this log.

__Waltzing Matilda__

Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong,
Under the shade of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me,
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Down came a jumbuck to drink at the billabong,
Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee,
And he sang as he stowed that jumbuck in his tucker bag,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me
And he sang as he stowed that jumbuck in his tucker bag,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Up came the squatter mounted on his thoroughbred,
Up came the troopers, one, two, three,
Where’s that jolly jumbuck you’ve got in your tucker bag?
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me
Where’s that jolly jumbuck you’ve got in your tucker bag?
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Up jumped the swagman and sprang into the billabong,
You’ll never take me alive, said he,
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me,
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong,
You’ll come a-Waltzing Matilda with me.

Mr Tardis was out for a caching day to the Barossa and surrounds. A beautiful almost-spring day with sunshine and warmish weather.

I found this one after a short search in the logical place. It took longer than it should have as the sour sobs adding a little more of a challenge. Some stunning views across the road.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache SnappyTomCats.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us. Wink

Now visiting in Tanunda, today we set about exploring the area using Geocaching as our guide.
With a late start it was midday before we finally set off. Sun shining 18degrees but alas by the time we made our return it was drizzling for our last few finds.

We were also running out of petrol with the orange light on but we kept going for just 1 more. Lol. All caches were found in good condition making it a very enjoyable day out caching.

Owl was out for the day with Blackadders and SA Sewer Rats. They were determined to show her a good time and Owl ended up with by far the most cache finds. This was a great stop, with a fantastic view, though Owl has determined she needs longer pins. Yes, you get a favourite point for the view!

Poured the water out at this one.
As a spontaneous diversion on way home we had not brought out caching bag.
Have cache containers, but no use replacing the cache with the sodden contents.
Sorry

13-Mar-17
Heading towards a nearby puzzle GZ, and came past here, just because...
Alas the cache is very sodden, drained the water, but with only cache containers onboard, with no logbooks we were unable to fix. Sorry

Geo-son still needs more hours to qualify to obtain 'P' licence. I have to travel to collect caches. He drives me around to out of the way caches that I would like to clear out areas of my map. Win-win situation. Cool
So today I thought I would head towards the Barossa and see what comes up on my GPS. Razz
By now we we in 'head to the next nearest cache' mode. This was it.
The cows were in the paddocks today and not on the roads. After a few minutes without finding the cache I felt like asking for their help. Surprised But then I spied it. Oh dear, very very wet after the recent rains. Twisted And me in Nancy and not in my caching mobile laden with maintainance gear. Sorry STCs. I have drained the water and with the weather improving perhaps it will dry out. Wink Can the next person bring a new log and check please. Lucky I have my STC supplied 'write under water' capable geopen and stamp. Smile
Thanks SnappyTomCats. Loved the views too. Big Grin

Easy night time find!
After checking there were not logged finds when leaving home, I was hoping for a FTF, but Silver has to do.
Have been out here many times before riding on the back roads, and the views are fantastic. Tonight all I saw were lots of Skippy's extended family bounce all over the road and the traction control light on the dash flickering on the slippery, corrugated roads. Made the find all more exciting!!!
Took TB for an adventure.
Tftc.
