Time had come to say bye bye to ACT. We are on the way home after having been in South Australia, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - for the 2 MEGAs, selective caches and sightseeing. We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc Team Webguy
This one was convenient to grab another LGA off the map! Thank you Team Webguy for placing this cache for me to enjoy!
Well, for someone that has not bothered to do anything geocaching related for a while I seem to be going out of the way to do Mega events. This particular caching trip was the brainchild of the other participant in this little excursion, that being greencordial. I flew into Toowoomba this morning hoping that the car gremlins had departed (they hadnt, but were sorted with another quick mechanical visit) and we were on our ways to Canberra. Fingers crossed Cache contained my coolest cache guardian to date. A little scorpion. Released to the wild. Thanks Team Webguy for placing this Traditional for me to convert into a smilie
Just one more. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of OzGeoMuster MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A nice few days over with great weather. Thanks for the cache

Heading home from Orange to Armidale, I took a detour to pick up the caches in Yeoval. This was a quick park & grab & all was in good condition. TFTC
Found on 14/07/22 whilst in Yeoval for a couple of days visiting friends. Lovely day for some caching

Up in Parkes for 2 weeks with work. Looking after the factory while the local manager has a well earned Holiday.
Having the weekend to myself I decided I had to go for a look around the area this seen me go from Parkes to Wellington taking a couple of back tracks.
going from the dish I was making my way to Wellington aiming for the caves and the 2 virtual caches there. along the way I stopped at a few of the "odd" locations for some grabs.
I parked just past GZ where a lot of dirt had been dumped and then went head long into the grass seeds Once at GZ a quick grab and i was back on my way.

After spending the night in town and taking in the tour of the town after the rain, stopped to pick this one up on our way out.
Thanks for the cache!. Quite alot of water has been through here recently, you can see the waterline on the base of the trees. Thankfully the cache has survived fine and is still dry. Thanks for the hide!
A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Parkes to Merriwa. We travelled north-east via Baldry, Yeoval, to Wellington, where we visited the Wellington Caves, and stopped for lunch. We then continued the drive north-east through Spicers Creek, Two Mile Flat, Gulgong, Ulan, arriving in Merriwa in the evening in time for a pizza dinner. Afternoon highlights were walks to The Drip Gorge and Hands On The Rock (Ulan Aboriginal Rock Art), and several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
We noted the various entrances into Yeoval, of which all contained a friendly welcome geocache! We were running a little ahead of schedule, so we decided to call past all of these geocaches. This was a quick find in an obvious beacon spot, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Team Webguy for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Quick find once I waked through the chest high foliage. Thank for putting a cache out here.
Sadly another DNF for Yeoval today. Very pretty weeds way over my head and not dressed for the prickly seeds or any other dangers or snakes hiding. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful area.
Traveling to Wellington for work for a fews day left to early so we thought we would see if we could find a few new ones great find
Team Webguy I found your cache ARLTY - #2 The Parkes Road on 31/8/20, 12:20 pm. This is my find 2639 and find # 2 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Another quick find within a short distance from the Greatest Little Town in the West (where my wife grew up!).
In light of the current travel restrictions and the requests by regional councils to stay away etc, I am disabling all my caches until the COVID-19 situation has passed and things return back to normal. Please respect this and do not go looking for these caches.
In all are travels we would not have even thought to traveled to this location.

Hi there Team Webguy.
We found your cache **"ARLTY - #2 The Parkes Road"** today. (This makes our find count 19403).
Today we cached north-astwards, to Yeoval and Obley, before heading back to our camp at Parkes. The aim of the day was to cache along some roads we haven't traveled on since we became full time grey nomads, so we can draw another line on our wall map).
We found 9 caches today (DNF'd 3) .We thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid but are disappointed at the number of poorly maintained caches along our route. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Grabbed Trackable:** " Klara The Outback Kangaroo".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Nice to hear the nearby sheep. Very quick find while driving through drought affected country, sadly watching 'share' farming of farms blowing across the country in the middle of winter and now green in sight. Hope BIG RAIN COMES SOON.
7073 located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1030. After a night in Parkes it is time to continue towards the Oz Geo Muster. baby had a bit of a chore getting his little paw inside the location, and when that was done it wouldn't come out the slot.SL Cache in good condition. Tnx Team Webguy

Today MrGT and I are passing through a different way than usual. After checking out Wello's 200 festivities and having a drink at the old Lion of Waterloo, we headed for Forbes. Wend never taken this road before. By gosh it was beautiful! And so many neat places to hide geocaches!!!!!! If you don't bring your TRLT series this way (between Yeoval and Wello), I'm totally placing some down here.
I'm wanting to adventure into the eye-looking range to the south of this road too... might need to find the land owner for that though.
Anyhow. The sun is just setting. Snapped a photo of it with the cache. Hitting the road again now. All Yeoval caches now complete. TFTC

Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
Another one in the series and another quick find for us [^]

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
32nd for the day at 1310 (107 for the trip). A quick find for this cache - all good, thanks Team Webguy!

11295. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
Headed out early again today for a final big run of caches before heading home to Canberra. Next stop for the day on a loop up to Wellington and back. Jumped out of the Jeep for a quick find. Log signed, cache returned and we were off to the next one.
Thanks again Team Webguy !! Seeing these artworks was great !
