On Holidays At Caloundra cruising around Caching with Hatzofff RoddyC and Mumma Bear And The Cubs (MummaBear66, Princess1005, DFC_JLK2019, T1ny96 and Captain Moneky96) hoping to target as many caches as we can. TFTC Wesso Family
Had a little list prepared to do. Knew we were not going to get them all do but had a good go at them.Scratched our head here for a while but it was on the obvious listTFTCache wesso family

Similar to others weve found, but a much better technique used here. All in good condition TFTC!
Second times the charm. A quick find after standing there trying to look normal waiting for a break in the very busy traffic. Cache full of water so that was tipped out. Expecting a very wet log I was surprised to take it out and for it to be completely dry. Log quickly signed and some swag added all returned and ready for the next finder. TFTC
On Holiday from NZ visiting our son and his family so thought I would do a few Geo's while I was here. I was looking along the bridge looking for the cache, not even then found it opposite from where I was looking.TFTC
Looked everywhere no idea if I was supposed to be down in the gully on the concrete but I have no idea where it is
Found this one almost immediately when I came up on the spot I looked at where it was, and I was like oh that could definitely be it and it was TFTCTFTHThank you so much this was so fun
Day 2 of the Caloundra music festival and after a night of L.A.B and the Melbourne Ska Orchestra it was time to head out and capture a few more sunny coast caches.I decided to head a little more inland today and quickly arrived at the cache parking spot. A swift walk to GZ and it wasnt long before the cache was in hand and the smilie face was mine.I logged the cache and returned it safely to its hides hole. Back to the car and off on the next sunny coast adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to fellow cachers to be found.Cheers
We parked in Apple Crescent, and followed the path around to GZ for a quick find with the help of a camera on the phone. Thanks Wesso Family
I parked in a nearby estate and walked to GZ where the cache was found in excellent condition with new logbook and bags. TFTC
I made a last minute decision to head up to the Sunnie Coast for the day with a vague plan to tackle a couple of puzzles requiring me to load up Renaldo with more tools than the average tradie hilux…
The weather sabotaged that plan which meant I spent the day between Baringa and Meridan Plains caching up a storm…
I parked over on Apple Crescent and walked through to GZ where the cache was in the first place I stuck my hand…
Unfortunately the inside of the cache was wet, and the log saturated even though the bag was sealed… I made a mark on the log book, but it will need to be replaced…
Sorry, I didn’t have a replacement on me…
Thanks Wesso Family

Alyce and I decided to take the youngest to join us for a full day of caching on the Sunny Coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for it, blue sky, stunning scenery, what more could we ask for?
We recruited the youngster to retrieve this one as we could easily spot when we arrived at GZ, although we had to point it out to him because, well, he’s only 5. Once signing duties were completed we handed him the cache so he could replace it, this time out of view.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Quick and easy find on this beautiful sunny day. Cache had water in it, but log book is dry. TFTC
Early drive up from the Gold Coast to meet up with E_Smiley and georode to find some more caches towards our Sunshine Coast Challenge.

Wesso Family I found your cache Reach to the Arbour on 21/2/2022, 1:45 pm. This is my find 3266 and find # 5 today. Parked around the corner and then it was a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
With 2 DNF's to start the morning this was very nearly number 3. First tried one side of the road, then the other then back again then over again then over again. Not sure if it was bad GPS morning or not but eventually i found this one.

Out for a day of caching with Mr CuriousQuest. Another quick find and sign. TFTC
On our way to grab another cache we spotted this one on our map and we were easily able to find somewhere close by to park. Arriving at GZ a man was walking to us with his two little dogs so we waited for him to pass before we went in for the search.

I'm out and about with Mrs Slow Puncture today in the wilds of Caloundra West. Sorry about the generic logs - it was a very busy day and I'm catching up logging as I am close to a milestone cache. Rather than driving to the caches we decided to walk, so my step count for the end of the day was close to 20,000, that could be why we had a bit of difficulty finding some of the easier ones, LOL! (that's my excuse anyway). Thanks for placing the caches for us to enjoy Wesso Family

Saturday. Very nice area here and it wasn’t long before we had our hands on the container. Thankfully there weren’t too many places it could hide
This was the 6th of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Wesso Family***, for showing us this place.

Staying in an AirBnB on Ascot Way so had to look for a few close caches. Out for an early morning walk. So many great walkways and parks. Only downside were the mosquitoes and the sad thought of the partial destruction of Notre Dame. Thanks to the Wesso family for so many local caches. Picked up a trackable here. TFTC
Another quick find here, i left a trackable to journey on, as the cache was a little bigger and usual and dry.
Thanks wesso for another cache!

Out for the day with my son smallwombat and he is just killing it now with find after find. I'm still tagging. Tftc
StreetWalkerNZ and I set out not long after 6:30 this morning to find some caches before the day got too warm. Our target area was Caloundra West / Bellvista where there were lots of caches, and SW wanted to avenge some previous DNFs as well.
We parked on a side street, as instructed, and walked to GZ. I had left my sunhat in the car, and it was roasting hot. SW found the cache for me , using his phone as an aid as I didn't want to reach (where I couldn't see) as instructed. TFTC.

Ok... Drove up here from Canberra, for a much needed holiday staying with my parents ... Up here for a few weeks (Christmas, and most of January figured it might be a good thing to try and find a cache each day for a week or 2 ... or 3 ... until I run out of close by ones anyway ...

Today we ventured down to Caloundra, this was a tiki tour following the caches along the way.
Scenic views of mountains & seascape. Passed through some new subdivisions as well, some seemed quiet upmarket.
A good variety of caches & hides found.

I take my hat off to the the designers of new housing estates. They have the capacity to reduce block and street sizes but maximise parks and bikeways. From the outside it looks like an amazing place to live unless you want to play a game of cricket in your back yard. I'm not being facetious, it is an amazing economic skill.
We parked near the two-lane bikeway (mind blown) and walked back to find a cacher's favourite with a spin. It wasn't an eclipse tin. Cracker!! tftc

Out with Mrs wombles today and this was the 3rd find of the day. We found this one pretty quickly and easy and no muggles around at that time. We found a wallet in the drain nearby so I went down and collected it let it dry out and have contacted owner and plan to return to him shortly he was so relieved that I had picked it up for him. Must have just been fate that he would get it back and me walking past. TFTC
You want me to walk how far for a cache [?][:o)]
A nice little stroll this morning. I spied signs of a local inhabitant on the bridge.
A nice quick find here as the early morning workers zoomed by on their way to work.

I took the chance today to look for some caches (I had to return early from the family holiday, due to work).
Took a while to find a good parking spot. When I got to GZ, took a bit of searching to find, especially with the traffic. But a nice find in the end. I can see how this could be a tricky one on busier days.

Watching the weather & trying to decide where to raid today.
Hoping to hit the Sunshine Coast but looking north it didn't look very sunny.
A few words with the Sun God, Mighty Ra, expressing our displeasure seems to have done the trick, the closer we get the more the weather is clearing! LOL ...
Selected Little Mountain & surrounds, filled up the Geo-beast & it was GAME ON!
I thought this one was going to be more difficult.
Nice quick park & grab (although I'm not sure I was supposed to park so close! LOL ...)
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Not sure if we signed Vegan Cachers or our old name Linden/6?
Oops!

We started out by hunting in all the T1 spots. No luck. Spread out to the others spots that match the hint and my brother in law who has a wheelchair bound younger brother assures me that there is no way that he could get to the cache. So not wheel chair friendly.
Thanks and cheers from Browngang

Unfortunately what was a T1 cache has now been changed to a 1.5 due to the growth of plants in the area....Sorry for any inconvenience that may of cause.

After the "Birthday Bash" event we headed out to find some caches.
