Had a good look but no luck for us here today, maybe the CO might want to check up on this one.
Today I headed up to Sedan and surrounds to get some numbers to help me reach my target of 13000 for the year. I also needed a multi for my calendar and there were plenty to choose from up here.
It was a great day for caching, blue skies and sunshine but not too hot, although I did get a sunburnt arm through the car window.
Lots of great caches and didn’t see any snakes which was great.
All up 48 finds for the day. Thanks to all the CO for their efforts really enjoyed my caching today.
Sadly could not locate this one found the SPOR but no cache and didn’t have anything suitable to replace it with. TFTH

Another fun day out caching with Dr Owl and JJ52.
JJ found the cache while Owl and myself over thought the hide and walked right past the broken container.
Thanks for the cache blackcat123.

Another day out with Doctor Owl and sushilord heading north. We started in Williamstown, had lunch in Nuriootpa as well as picking up some new stamps, then ended our day in Towitta. [^] A great day with lots of variety, lots of fun and some great scenery that changed quite markedly the further north and east we travelled.
After finding the nearby multi we set about clearing all the caches around Towitta. Our last cache for the day and a quick find. The container that the lidless mint tin was in has cracked and broken so we left a new container with the old log and a new log. It should be good for a number of years now.

A nice detour off the main road to this cache
A big day out today with a total of 47 finds, all found all over the place, from Brighton in Adelaide to blanchetown through the Barossa and the back roads. Not the best day to cache with continual rain though.
Thanks for the cache

If there's a reptile mentioned in the listing or a previous log - geo-hubby aint doing it. So I made the quick uneventful find at gz. Thanks blackcat 123
On our way back from a day with CPwanderer & froghoppin caching around Blanchetown.
The outer cache has a hole and is getting brittle, the cache will need replacing soon.

Heading north on this lovely sunny day collect my quoter for friends league for last piece of the puzzle.
We could drive right up to this one an soon geo kid 2 had it in hand. SL. The cache container was a little damp so we wiped it out, hopefully it will stay drier than us - it seems like every time we get out the car it rains!! Thanks for bringing us to another little hidden gem.
After a short meeting at work, took off with Jack to find some caches.
Found a cache. Maybe we'll walk another day

Easy find and a sensible container once we worked out an easier way to approach GZ. Use the track not trample across and through the long grass. cache is good and dry TFTC.
TFTC found while camping for the weekend... Went down to the springs, spectacular after heavy recent rains
Well worth the walk to the springs after the recent rains. An easy find for the kids.
We would probably have enjoyed a walk to the springs, and though it would be a good reason to hide the cache further in. Not to worry, we found the cache and it is in good condition. Maybe we'll take the wlk to the springs another time and leave a cache of our own.
Thanks blackcat123.

Another cache filled day in the Barossa, in the good company of Suscoe. After working through the OTD and then BMT caches, it was a change to look for individual containers and hides. We enjoy the spots which have a story about the past.
Our thanks to blackcat123 for placing this cache.

Suscoe headed out this morning for another adventure on our caching trip with Phetlern.
It was a cold and cloudy start to the day when we headed out and the clouds continued for most of the day until late afternoon when some sunshine finally broke through.
Our trip today took us to the south east of the Barossa Valley and out onto the plains country between the Adelaide hills and the Murray River.
We found a range of traditional, a few multi’s and some puzzles on a trail which included the OTD June series, the OTD September puzzles, the OTD March trail and the BMT trail which ended near to Cambrai. A few DNF’s were made along the DMT trail.
We arrived back into Nuriootpa late in the day after a terrific time gathering finds.
Thanks to blackcat123 for placing your cache, we enjoyed another terrific day of caching in South Australia.

Mr and Mrs Parrot from SA_Parrothead are out on the road today for the last day of Mr Parrots Christmas break.
Headed towards Swan reach but we never made it and headed back home after doing the August series.
It as a great day out doing lots of great country caches and we came home with 61 finds.
This one was find number 5
What a great little find. This is why I cache I never would have found this place myself. I will certainly come back here in winter.

What better way to blow out Christmas than to spend a lovely day caching? The plan was to tackle "Fruit Loop" and a few others in that area.
The others done now to the "Fruit Loop", starting at FL #25.

Camping at Towitta Park for the weekend with a small group. Out caching with the_xtrailers. We didn't walk to the springs as we were on some time constraints (dinner was cooking) but we come back here every year so perhaps next time. TFTC blackcat1123
While camping at nearby Towitta Park, we thought we would spend a couple of hours out caching. There were so many to choose from for the afternoon so we thought we would just plan a ring route to collect as many as possible.
Nice easy find and keeping a good eye out for snakes. None today thankfully

A pity we were here late in the day and didn't have time to go for a walk to the spings. A quick find then on again.

What a great day! [^]
I set out with Snap Happy, followed by chrispy89, to attend at Geocaching's 15th birthday event.
Then after the event, I swapped into firesafe's car to cache a small series.
Ended the day with 1 event attended and 44 finds
We sure are getting a guided tour of the Towitta area this afternoon
I'd never have known of this historical site otherwise!

Doing a few caches in the Murray Lands and this was along the way. Getting late, so did not take the walk. Thanks blackcat.
Who would have thought there would be springs up here [?] - and accessable as well !
A bit hot today and really the wrong time of year to make the walk, but definitely worth exploration in the future [^].

Love travelling these back roads and discovering secret spots like this [^] Will definitely return in cooler weather and take the walk to the springs. Saw a gorgeous wombat in the middle of the road soon after this, he let us get quite close - very cute. (Sorry farmers, we know you don't like them!) Thanks blackcat123 for all the caches you have put out around this area - we have seen heaps of stuff we didn't know existed - that's one of the fantastic things about geocaching as the locals know where all these things are - we are a privileged bunch [^]
Interesting little spot by the creek
I would have loved to take a stroll, but only got as far as the gate
It was time to call a halt to caching and head for Adelaide and say hello to me mum 'n' dad

Found on my way back home from a trip up to the riverland, enjoying the detour around the backroads of the mallee. Thanks for the cache blackcat123!
Quickly located the prize .......................... and spotted a large Black snake on my way in! Thanks blackcat123 for the hide!!!
We found the cache and signed the log but didn't have time to explore the area further today. It also wasn't very good weather for walking around in country like this - hot, windy and dusty with rain threatening. It sounds like it's a lovely place to visit so we'll have to return one day and have a proper look around. TFTC
Easy find for bronze.
Love driving these mallee back roads, and even better when you can get smilies!!
