Decided to head out to do some caching around the Parkinson Bushland Reserve after work. Another quick find on my walk. TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl ; The Great Leap Forward Geocoin ; International Geocaching Day 2024 Geocoin ; Bee Croc ; Rawhide ; RobS72 2000 Finds GC ; RobS72 Ammo Can Geocoin ; Forest Hill Ear Tag ; Iceland Geocoin ; and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 2328.
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. After doing the Glider Forest Trails a couple of days ago, decided to try and smilie out my map in the area by doing these ones in the adjoining forest. Ended up doing a 13.5 km walk over five hours and finding 29 out of 29. Very pleased that all the caches were in place and able to be found, even the ones that had some recent DNFs.A nice quick find of another interesting container here in the hint location. Thx to the COs for placing all these caches.
Out for a half day with nikid1 so we have to make the most of our limited time to find caches for the cosmic quest. We ended up walking over 15km & finishing in the dark with the night cache. Such a cute container here, the log was mush so we replaced it.TFTC Cantcacheus2014
GC5CVTK International Smile - KPT07Its a Thursday and I finished work at lunchtime so that gave KerriMG and I a chance to go caching. KerriMG had spied this area for us to target today. It was dark when we finally made it back to the car and a total of 30,000 steps for the day for me. By now its getting pretty dark. For once we were prepared and had our good torches with us. I'm listening to the KP songs as I type out my logs. This one is cute and fun. Although it's actually about one of her friends it also fits her too. Love her or hate her, she is certainly good at being an international star.Today I explored the Parkinson Bushland, doing a 6.5km loop and finding 17 caches.I saw the logsheet and plastic bag on the ground and then found the container nearby. I signed the log and did my best to put it all back together and rehide it. Then I sat down on the convenient seat provided here for a rest and a drink. Thanks for all the smiles Cantcacheus2014 and Kiara!
Caching today on the area that needs me to have more smiles.

This evening, with a pizza dinner geocaching event occurring in Browns Plains, I thought I would take the opportunity to visit the vicinity. Following my drive after work through congestion, I made a few stops in Stretton's parks and reserves, before joining NZ visitors SethRaven and 2FlyTim and a locals' group at Pizza Hut. A group subset then took a short drive over to Parkinson Bushland, and targeted the night multi-cache [Parkinson's Curse - An Odyssey](https://coord.info/GC14JJW). After walking back toward our parked cars, I decided to take one last solo loop targeting an older geocache and a few others that had been on my geocache bucket list.
Whilst still having some energy and torchlight battery, I decided to leave the group of night Geocachers, and make another loop solo of the area, targeting an oldie and a high Favourite geocache. I walked along a main fire track, and left the cache to walk inwards to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook page appeared to be quite small and fragile, so a new logbook may be required soon. I certainly received an international smile from this cache guardian! Thanks Cantcacheus2014 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I was wanting to find at least 28 caches in a day for a challenge and decided this was a good area to achieve it. It was a perfect day for a long walk with hardly anyone else about.
I did smile when I saw it. Very cute but needed a tott to get it out. Placed logsheet in small plastic bag as it is slightly damp. Tftc

#20 for today. Another nice and easy find. Cache found out in open so place back where hint said.
We were out over the ANZAC long weekend to attend an event at the Brisbane Koala Bushlands. So, we decided to meet up with Echo Cage 1 and go grab a few caches on this side of town.

Very cute. Log is a bit damping no lid. But I've got a goal to find seven so I walked to this one and am working my way back. X. So many cobwebs today
I was not able to find this one today. Might have been the hot day or the amount of spiderwebs I went through but I will be back.
Thanks to the hint it didn’t take to long to find this cache… added my name to the temporary log and replaced as found…

Thanks for the cool cache! Added a little log paper, as there was no log present (don’t know if it’ll hold up to weather, though).
A phone call to Willis007 and a plan was hatched for an early morning start on a bike riding tour of this series. Picked up willis007 and we were off, we reached our destination and then noticed there was a first to find nearby. Nah, someone will be on it, let’s get it later, if it is still there.
We set off on our ride and it was all excitement plus, knocking over the first few caches in good time. Then the excitement happened, as I was flying down the hills to the next cache a washout appeared with a big boulder with a flat front. I thought to myself “Oh shit this is not going to end well”. Sure enough even with the brakes on full I still hit the rock and was thrown over the handle bars, then the bike came over me. Got up and brushed myself off, only to find a lot of bark off on my right leg and right arm and a very sore shoulder.
Willis007 then turned up and was prepared to call it a day. Nah it's just a flesh wound let’s keep going. 4 hours later we found ourselves at the browns plains ambos getting cleaned up, lol, caching completed for the day.
We found 30 plus caches and 2 DNF’s today, the dnf’s were very tricky and in the heat we were over it.
Thanks for placing this series here, we will be back on a cooler day, sorry for the generic post but i got a heap to log.

Riding through the bush for after school fun. Decided to stop to see if a cache was nearby. 20m! What luck. Unfortunately our little friend in the bush had no toilet paper (no log paper present).
Four cyclists; ruzzelz, beardman75, bulldozer72 and me, enjoyed our morning riding from cache to cache through this nice quiet bushland today. Such a cute container; rawr!! TFTC, Cantcacheus2014. =^.^=
Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching - I had put the call out to gather a few cachers for the On Ya Bike @ Paradise day. With an 8:00 am start the plan was to clear this little piece of bushland of caches.
Our small group consisting of La Kedi, Bulldozer, Beardman and myself set out for a fun filled day on the bikes. Along the way we ran into tvsmiley x 3 walking around the bush land.
Thanks, I love a good bike cache

Second weekend in a row we ventured out for our weekly outing from the house to break up being stuck in the one place for a week. Not a single sole did we see in our hour or two wondering through the bushland. Its amazing how much you appreciate the chance to enjoy the great outdoors.

Early morning start for a bike ride in this forest.
I have been saving this cluster of caches since I moved to BNE last year, as I do need 259 finds in November for a personal goal.
This cache was a quick find for me, a nice ride here.
Thank you for hiding here

I was in need of 21 more cache finds for the mystery at the museum souvenir challenge. Looking at the map, I decided this was a good place to target today. Very very cute cache. Also an excellent location to have a seat for a quick rest. TFTC
On our travels from Brisbane down to Mount Buffalo we searched and found som Geocaches. Thanks to all owners for the Caches.
Out caching after work and decided to explore somewhere new, great bush tracks out her, very pleasant. Tftc
A b e r i c h b r a u c h e i n p a a r W ö r t e r f ü r d i e S t a t i s t i k. Sorry for that.

Tag.
We are on vacation in Australia and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

We were getting set to give this one a miss, as we could not find it. Just as we were heading back to our bicycles, we noticed something rather cute on the edge of the Firetrail, all out in the open. Clearly this is what we were looking for. We signed the log and replaced it back to where we think it should be. The Trail seems to be heading slightly downhill, so I guess that means we will have to work on the way back.
Thanks Cantcacheus2014,

Out with Aussie Clarke and Aussie Pete geocaching for the day. Great bushlands to explore on a nice warm winters day. Thanks for all the caches. We replaced some full logs on the way.
On the heels of Doully and Aussie Pete. Thanks to the CO’s for the inspiring caches.
A friendly smile from the guardian then it was a quick grab and sign.

Found @3:11:00 PM.
With the hidden creature souvenirs month beginning we began searching for possible locations to have a "big" day of caching.
With Lismore area cleaned out Walden clan and I decided to pack the bikes and head North. We left Lismore around 5am and returned around 8:30pm with around 70 finds.
Really enjoy caching this way. A few mishaps along the way.
1. A puncture
2. Lost mobile phone (luckily found again)
3. A run in with the police while trying to access an area that had a road closed sign.
4. A sore bum
37km of cycling.
Had a great day. Thanks to efforts of the hiders.
Sorry for all the copy and past logs.
Cheers

I’ve been wanting to do this trail for over a year now so I decided today would be the day! Another great one within this beautiful Bushland. This cache gave off a smile which will go international for sure haha. TFTC CCU14!
I needed some find to reach a milestone so I hit the trails first thing this morning. I covered the eastern end walking 10km in 3hrs this morning. Then I had to disappear for a few hours for a family commitment. When I came back I got stuck into the Glider series and managed to get most of those while walking almost 7km in 2.5hrs. I wasn't able to grab every cache but I will be back again soon. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches with good coordinates and containers in mostly good condition. It was a fun day out.
Found @ 11:17am on my seventh and final morning cache walk of my holiday, this time while hccatcher11415 was getting inked
