I set out today planning to make some finds in Mitcham, my least covered metropolitan LGA. However I didnt pay attention to borders, and it looks like all of these are in Onkaparinga. I went straight for the hint here. Im clearly not good at word association; it took me a while to get on the right track. Helped here by very accurate coordinates. Log here was nice and dry - there are no fun when they get wet. Thanks again DunWorking.
Muggles and spiders and trolls, oh my!
Luckily, I didn't need to get covered in webs like the nearby bridge hide. But my rigging instinct kicked in, and the hint made perfect sense.
Found a spot along edge of log to mark my success.
TFTC!

Up here in the area targeting the Linear Park Walk caches and any another’s I stumble across…….what a great trek, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Found after a short search with The Flagstaff Hills, the log roll was totally full but we managed to sign along the edge of the log roll.----SL---TFTC
Did a swing by while we were in the area to check on our caches. Amazingly the Original cache has returned or been found where ever the Trolls were hiding it. Also found remnants of either the Replacement or 3rd Replacement so removed that. The hint has now been changed to find the original cache.
Found it, with some help from PineappleGoldy. As Goldy said, this cache is confusing… I found a container lid which matched the style of the other troll bridge cache.
But yes, the log from the real cache is full- I didn’t want to replace it as the cache owner will likely want to keep the old log and there isn’t room for two.

Will do a maintenance check on these caches in the next week or so!!!!! Seems like some funny business going on here!!!!
Out clearing up a few caches in Coromandel Valley and Blackwood.
As well as "Historic Coromandel Valley" and "Roam Around Blackwood" Adventure Labs.
A total of 16 finds for the day.
I was very confused here.
Other logs indicate they are finding a cache other then the one I have found.
However, the one I found is full and there was nowhere for me to sign.
Will need a new log book.
Thanks Sandalwood Cottage for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 1301.

A quick find as the container stood out. Managed to get out to this between the showers and stay a little dry. A quick find. TNLN. Cheers.
Found on the ground. I placed it back in a likely spot.

The water was flowing but no feet got wet
$125,000 for a cache hide location... seems like good value compared to the cost of the satelites we use.
Many thanks to Sandalwood Cottage for placing and maintaining this smiley maker on our map

Today Rex and I headed out for a walk along the Linear Park in Coromandel to collect some caches and lab caches.
Rex made me walk a long way further than was anticipated but that can only have done me some good. We found 6 caches and 5 AL so it was a productive afternoon. We had one dnf, just didn’t have a clue.
This one was not so quick but we found it in the end. We were supposed to go back to the car from here but Rex thought I would like another couple of kms he thoroughly enjoyed them which in turn made me enjoy them too. TFTC

This evening, I decided to head up to Coromandel Valley and do some walks around Sturt Gorge, and some suburban caches. There was also the *Historic Coromandel Valley* adventure lab bonus cache that was yet to be found. I also had a nice jog along the river / linear park, before making final stops at local CFS and Frank Smith Park.
My final cache for today, and I ended up falling whilst hopping down to where the trolls live. Whoops, a grazed hand, but she'll be all good. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Sandalwood Cottage for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Sandalwood Cottage for the cache.

Last cache for the day, a short stop in here and a look under there it was plain as day.
This morning I set out to find some caches around cherry gardens and coromandel valley, with the day predict to rain I planned to be home by lunch time. All in all 18 finds for the morning.

Out for a walk with the dog along the Sturt river this morning, collecting a few caches along the way and enjoying the water flowing, a beautiful area. Walked straight past it but retraced my steps and cache quickly found. Great hide TFTC
It took quite some time to locate this cache. We took notice of the hint and focussed our search where trolls live, widening the search area in case the cache had wandered over time. We looked in every nook and cranny that was within reach but to no avail. We had one other place to try but that meant disregarding the hint. As we went towards that spot, we came eye-to-eye with a very well hidden cache, not in the spot we were going to search. This was a lucky find. If we had approached from a different direction we would have missed it. Unfortunately the log is very, very damp. Some TLC is needed as soon as possible. Thanks Sandalwood Cottage for the cache.
Cheeky spot, could so easily have missed it. Logbook wet and mouldy, needs maintenance. Thanks
My son found it after I walked pasted it twice. Silly me. It was a great find. The log book very wet though.
Sneaky hide...thank goodness for my geohusband, he spotted it fairly quickly.
Looked and looked and had given up, then had a brainwave about what kind of niche it could be in.
‘Good cache got it with my caching buddy Z’. TFTC from the little Hutchy Cachers. Found with pikefam
Out and about today, so I had some time to grab this one. Love sneaky little hides like this... TFTC...
