Thanks The Boos! Wish we could see the house. Apparently you have to write them a letter to see it!
Lost my geophone for 3 hours when I accidentally took a friends phone into my car and they drove off with my phone. How to track that down? Managed to borrow WIFI signals from a karate centre with their permission, using a different device to get in touch with a mutual friend.Came to Horsley Park Reserve for a nighttime exchange. Grabbed a snack at the local tavern using my recovered phones e-wallet. Quick find, signed as SV, here before heading home, thanks The Booos
Found after work on a quiet morning. Was in the first place I looked. An unexpected historical place, it's a shame it's not more accessible.Interesting to note the Sir Hubert Wilkins Wildlife Reserve next door. He was and interesting man, wonder if he had a connection to Horsley Park?SL TFTC
A quick detour here on the way home to the Central Coast from Penrith today. There was a muggle on a ride on mower at the entrance to this abandoned house when I approached but he was gone by the time I went down the road and did a u-turn ... so I was able to make a quick find. Thanks for highlighting another historic house in Western Sydney Booos.
Found 11:47 am with fiance. Catching up on logs. My lovely other half treated me to a weekend away for my birthday. And we ended out here staying near Eastern Creek raceway. As part of my treat she lets me do a day of caching or as much as I want. So here we were now finding caches. This one was a bit tricky to find, a little sneaky. Pity cant visit homestead, Fairfield could make this a visitor place and provide that historical information of the area as well. Thanks for the cache.

Day 9. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip. With my caching buddy on a plane and back home in Melbourne, it was time to start making some progress north with a likely end destination of Newcastle today.A nice quick find to start the days count. I am intrigued by the wild life reserve and Jurassic park looking gates nearby. Thanks The Booos for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------The 12 Days of Cachemas series is now live. A quick find while passing through. Interesting bit of seemingly abandoned history here - TFTC!
Found with micaparamedic…he spied it after my ‘boy’ look saw me miss it.
Thanks for the cache The Booos

Driving home after some time away, decided to find a park and grab somewhere along the route, and at only 2 mins off the M7, this fit the bill perfectly. Thought at first it was supposed to be closer to the road, but the structures there seemed to lack the kind of long term stability that is preferred for cache placement. So I checked the more logical place and there it was. Thanks for the interesting location!
Wow, I wish we could’ve seen what the historic Homestead was like looks amazing.
Found a little cache container signed the on the log while listening to the bellbirds, and popped the cache back where it belongs.
Thanks for this one.

Travelled from Sydney to Jindabyne for the event tonight. Travelled trying to grab a few LGA’s for some Challenges. Can’t say I like the traffic in Sydney. Once out of Sydney had a great run with the highlight doing the caches around Lake George.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today. Sorry for the generic logs.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Nice little place to explore tonight thankyou. I think community halls should be used more.
An interesting area to visit. The classic tree-lined driveway with some lovely trees. An interesting "Jurrasic Park" gateway next door for some old nature reserve. Dan was interested in scrambling over a barbed wire fence to have a look. Maybe there would be some dinosaurs (other than himself). However, Sue dragged him back before any velociraptors could attack him. TFTC The Booos. We appreciate you taking us for a drive around some interesting suburbs.
Doing some weed control in the reserve opposite along the creek and took the opportunity to sneak over here with a work colleague during our break. Found quickly. The occasional really old tree still in the area as well. tftc
The Booos I found your cache Historic Home - Horsley House on 23/5/21, 3:45 pm. This is my find 3215 and find # 16 today. Hint is not relevant anymore. Still managed a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
Spent a lovely night in a B&B so started off refreshed and ready to go home. One last county for us. SES training across the road but they were too busy learning to worry about us.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

24,501. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip.
Day 12 (Last Day). Today we continued our long trip home via many counties over three days - one county in Queensland and twelve counties in New South Wales. After a lovely night in a local B&B we started our last day of the trip. We certainly couldn't resist stopping and doing one more county as we passed through Sydney. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks The Booos !!

Heading north with dty73, tankengine and Flintstone's to wait out the covid happenings and find out the fate of Qld and the daybro mega. Cool gates here and with good coords a quick find.
Day One of our Caching Easter Trip
Together with Tankengine, Aquilus1 and Flintstone’s we traveling from Canberra to Port Macquarie. Today was more about collecting counties than numbers. And we collect a couple that were easy to get, saw some interesting things and got stuck in a few traffic jams. But all up a great day, especially at the end when we got to catch up with friends that night. We signed most log books as DFAT. Yes, we did notice many other variations of our initials.
This cache: We drove straight towards the driveway and cache and parked in the driveway.
Nice quick find, but we think the hint is colourblind. It’s a very interesting spot even though we couldn’t see the house. Tftc The Boos!!!

14:40hrs - found. TFTC. P.s the bison tube in the pic is not part of the cache - its on my keyring
Council truck at the wildlife reserve so couldn't look too much. Not sure if coordinates are off or the GPS but couldn't find anything
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Out for another epic days caching with marj01; this time around Erskine Park, Orchard Hills, Kingswood, St Marys and Ropes Creek, suburbs that I would never have visited if I wasn't for geocaching. We found lots of caches; mainly nanos, minties and a few small sistemas plus a good old ammo can.
A big thank you to all the CO's who placed and maintain these caches.

Driving towards home after attending the Clear Waters Mega. Stopping randomly in counties that I have not collected a cache in previously. Quick find at the GZ. TFTC!
Arrived at GZ very late at night excited to see this historic site. Had a look around, replaced the cache for the owners and were soon on our way. Another county bites the dust. TFTC
To celebrate the wonderful Countrykittykats birthday, we set ourselves the mad challenge of visiting 30 counties in a day. Not at all sure that it was possible, I planned and prepped and we set out hoping for the best. Only hunting for D1.5 T1.5 caches to accomodate Countrykittykats injured ankle. Low are behold after an epic day of caching, where we saw beach and city, suburbs, bush and farms. We made it! Our 30 counties found and one extra for good measure Just for an extra perk. A wonderful day out together and an adventure we won’t forget quickly! Thanks everyone for making this wonderful day possible by keeping your caches alive. TFTC

After celebrating my baby cousin’s baptism at the local restaurant Il Piatto, I dragged the family to this cache just down the road. A short search turned up nothing so I stood back to check the hint. Yep, coords are spot on so where could it be? About to resume my search and I heard a car come down the driveway. “You ok?” With my head buried in my phone and in my best innocent voice I relied “yep, I’m right” and I waited for them to drive off before I continued looking. Not long after I had the CIH. Back to the car to sign and then for a quick replace. TFTC!
It’s been a really hectic week with work but I made sure to keep my daily cache finds up so I’m sorry for the delayed logs but I wanted to make sure I wrote something for each - Nice find on my way home from work, would love to come see this house during the day - TFTC The Booos, I really enjoyed it!
Picked up a few more out of the way caches while I was working my way back to Camden from Smithfield to pick up the kids at the airport.

The sixth find of the day. This one was a nice quick park and grab on our way back to Canberra. I needed a cache in this county for a challenge back home and this was the one we decided on. Once at GZ, it was a quick find we barely had to leave the car for. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC The Booos!
Needed a quick cache for a find in this countie of Sydney to go towards a challenge cache for Cankid.
We pulled off the highway and parked pretty much ontop of the coords and made a quick find

Our first attempt at GEOCACHING and we had no luck. More likely were bad at this. The only thing I could make sense of black and white was this sign.
Completed on the way home from work in the long day light – a nice quick find in the end – thanks for the history - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Quick signing for a quick find. Thanks to the CO for establishing and maintaining this corner cache.
In the area for work and finished 3.30pm. Went to the Tavern to get some lunch, but missed out, so sat with a beer while I checked for any close caches. Wouldn't you know it, a few hundred metres up the road. Drove over and made the find straight away. SL on the new log and replaced. TFTC.
Quick find. Another historic house discovered. Log was full so I changed as it and it ready for the next visitor. TFTC
Between the station of the cross this morning and this afternoon's service for the passion of the Lord at my pariah I went for a quiet and reflective drive and grabbed a few caches there was an area of western Sydney not far from my place where I had a some unfound caches. Today on a beautiful good Friday with perfect weather I was able to find 8 caches. TFTC. HAVE A HAPPY EASTER.
Came here with my main squeeze for a second time. No climbing needed. We totally over thought this one the first time. Tftf!
This was my ninth HH cache today and the only one that may have indicated some trouble having not been found in well over a year. As I’m always on the lookout for unloved hides towards another challenge cache, it was worth a small detour to give it go. And glad I did… CIH, signed and returned within seconds with 15½ months added to my challenge tally. Word of caution to stay well off the road at GZ as some of the drivers approaching and coming round this bend were travelling way too fast!
Was here last November, but the cache was nowhere to be found. A year later and nobody has found it. I'd say this needs checking.
Just a word of warning as there are wasps nest in nearly every nook and cranny , I checked an empty post pole hole and something fell down but not sure if it was gz or not , will go back another day armed with wd40 and fast running shoes !!
So Telstra was down this afternoon and couldn't get in touch with my caching BFF to work out which cache to do, so I ended up coming here and doing a cache she had already done. Took me a bit of searching but eventually spied the little bugger. SL #2231 on streak day #1195 TFTC
