Thought we would take the scenic route back to Brissy today. Log signed with SCAHPA signed as CS43 to save room, nice hide!! - TFTC!!
Just when I was about to give up on Bellmere caches! With the hint Vs the placement all I could think of was the old saying knee high to a grasshopper cause head high for a grasshopper is more likely!
Cache appears to be missing. Could only see the top half, but perhaps it wasn't the cache itself.
Thanks found it, while on morning walk. Up here from Ballarat Victoria. Staying with my brother who lives in the area.
Didn’t take too long to spot this one. Biro wouldn’t work on the paper so had to resort to felt pen and blow on it to try and dry before rolling and replacing the log. TFTC
GPS was having fun here and I was searching about 8 m away while The Marble went straight to it and was already extracting the log when I realised where she was. Thanks wombles and co
Great little find! Nice spot and easy to find given the micro size- except if you're my dumb dumb husband.
Solo venture today.
Decided to hit a few around Bellmere. This made for a nice quick find. (Signed as Shaz66 to save room)

Found today, but unfortunately the bottom of bison & log are missing. Looks like some trimming has happened recently.

A chance to do a bit of blanket caching around Caboolture…
I’ve actually been here once before, but due to council workers I didn’t even get out of the car… today after consulting the hint I went much further into the foliage than was needed…
Thanks wombles and co

Mr10 and I had to hang around this area for a whole day, waiting to see if Miss12 was going to be ok staying at school camp before we drove back home without her. That meant 4 hours of caching and exploring in a heat wave. Mr10 was not impressed, not one bit. So I turned it into a competition - who was going to find the most caches. He upped the anti and wanted $3 if he won. Hmmmm 4 hours of non-whingey caching for $3. I'm in! I even made sure he won. At one point he did admit that although he "wasn't having fun" he was "enjoying himself"
This one took ages because we were put off by the hint.

I initially walked straight past this one but thanks to my fellow cachers we found it! Didn’t have a pen to mark the log but great find! Find #3 for today!!!
wombles and co I found your cache The Allman brothers with an I on 1/9/2022, 10:40 am. This is my find 4064 and find # 4 today. Searched and searched for a while. Was about to give up when I reread some previous logs. One gave me an idea. Searched again and this time found it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Another nice drive around this area finding caches and this is one we found. Parked in the street close by and the CO’s note was helpful in locating the cache. We signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks wombles and co for another smiley.
Out and about with Alycem89 to grab a few caches in the area while enjoying the beautiful weather we’re having.
Alycem89 had found this one recently, but I hadn’t, so we made our way here. I was fairly confident where it was going to be, although that wasn’t the case. I noticed Alycem89 was laughing at me saying it was so obvious and sure enough, it was. How the hell did I miss that at first.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Me and my family had gone caching, we discovered it pretty quickly as someone had left it on the ground.TFTC!!
Exploring on my own for the first time today with some of my kidlets. This one was a great easy cache. Initially found where it was meant to be but someone had dropped it on the ground. Luckily my daughter found it and we quickly reattached it and went on our way.

Caching with the world outside, rummaging in bushes and she found it nice and quick! Tftc, love all these little parks we wouldn't find otherwise. Happy new year!
Had 5 caches on the list for a quick morning hunt with my 2 geokids and jodsta83. This was the first one on our list.
We went off in search and headed over to the location. While Jodsta83 and I were looking in one area the youngest of the geokids found it almost straight away! Talk about exciting. We signed the log and quickly returned it so she could try and be the first one to spot the next one TFTF

The youngest of the geokids spotted this one first after both of the adults had checked there. With no muggles around we were able to leave our mark and move on to the next one. Tftc
We continued our geocaching adventure and drove to this little park. Our geo-mum came for the short walk and enjoyed the search and eventual find. TFTC
Thanks for the cache! We thought it was taken down since a bush had been removed and were so sad until we spotted it! TFTC.
I couldn’t find this one, I think the trees have been trimmed back. Back in the same spot but this time it’s not attached to anything alive.
A quite lengthy search came up blank. Now at home reading some older logs......I'll have to refine my search.
Another day................

Swooped on Caboolture today chasing green boxes ... a well placed hide - which took me a while to spot.
Thanks wombles and co for entertaining me at this location.

Enjoyed the clue for this one. Think outside the box or you’ll be swinging here for a while.
Still can not find.
Dropped something thinking it was cache and spent almost 40mins to find it and squealed with delight to find then it was not said cache
Dark now so will have to be defeated yet again and dog is getting frustrated she wasn’t being taken for a proper walk so around the park for a leisurely stroll it is Jenna

This one took a while and we were about to give up when we returned to the van and had a read of some of the previous logs. That helped and after a short further search the cache was located. Then the clue made sense too.
Thanks, a sneaky hide.

Could find this one at first, so I went to another, then come back and happy days tftc
Chasing after a few caches in the local area today, trying to convert a few to smilies as I go.
This was cache 1 today.
Walked in to GZ, grass still a bit wet, but the sun was out and shining bright!
I had been here a couple of times in the past with no luck, so determined to spend a bit more time here today. Came deliberately AFTER school kids are in school, so not so many muggles about.
Looked through the bushes at GZ, had to walk back and forth a bit until found something that looked good.
Then had to wait for a muggle walking a dog before I could get it. All good, thanks for cache.

Nice big park with lots of interesting features - lake, playground, room to run around and of course a geocache, which always makes for a good park.
Got close to gz quickly after a stroll from disappointment at the enchanted wood, but still took a long time to find. Started by sticking my head in random parts of the Lilly pilly bushes trying to see something cache-like. This didn't work, so then read some previous logs and realised there may be some sort of sneakiness involved. Soon located the well hidden cache in a very safe spot, just as the hint suggested.
#2012 @ 1310h. Glad to find this somewhat unloved cache - 7 months since last visit..

We have made camp in the Caboolture showgrounds for a week.
After visiting the markets in the morning we thought we would go for a short drive to find a couple of caches.
Had to read the hint which helped with the find.
Thanks for placing this cache wombles and co

Took me and Samuraibob227 a bit to find this cache but we managed with some help from the hint, also cheeky spot.
TFTC!

Took a little bit but it was in a bit of a sneaky spot but non the less a great one TFTC
We found it eventually but were looking strictly to the clue "hanging around in the right bushes" and where we found it is not exactly where we took the clue to mean. But nevertheless the clue is still correct - does that make sense? Nope, oh well don't worry the cache is there!
I was trying to squeeze in a few more finds before picking up my daughter from TAFE and reading some past logs, I realised this wasn't going to be easy. I might as well spend 10 minutes on the hunt and add a new cache to my frenemy list which has been decreasing over time.
I walked in over the sodden turf and then moved to sticking to the cement path. Arriving at GZ I started to tentatively poke in around the bushes. They were still wet with rain and so my look was half-hearted. I decided on looking in the least likely locations before starting a systematic approach and after sticking my head in a certain spot I got lucky pretty quickly.
After signing the log sheet I had a read through some past logs and it was clear that you should take a photo of yourself jumping for joy when you find this cache. I learnt how hard it is taking a selfie of yourself in mid air and needed about 10 cracks at it. tftc

**# 17358** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm winter day for a drive to pick up a few I missed lately.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here.
Thanks for the cache wombles and co,

Had a look but nothing would appear so stopped and had a think about and started again and immediately the cache was looking at me. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
We have been at this cache twice before and just seemed to have lost any sort of cache vision super power.
Luck was on our side today, met up with the CO at previous cache and we jumped on her like a tiger in the night for a clue on this cache.
Went exactly where she told us and sure enough it was there, we had definitely been suffering cache blindness in our previous stops here! We didn't know whether to slap ourselves or slap each other over missing this one.
Geo-hubby was so excited to finally have turned this green dot into a smilie he felt the need for a victory jump...myself, well I'll have a couple of wines tonight to finally have made this find:)
Tftc and help Wombles and Co, nice hide.

Despite the overcast weather we headed out to find a few caches. We decided to have another go at this one seeing as we had some help from the cache owner. Armed with this information we were able to able a quick find this time. TNLNSL TFTC
Tftc Can't believe I finally found it, with a little help from the co....4th time lucky & I say again "how did I miss it before"
Out and about in the area finding all of those caches I have not found on past visits.
After finding the 'new ones' around Ewen Dam I am now heading south and home.
But it could that all day with all of these caches to find as I zig-zag my way through Caboolture.
Quite a bit of searching before spotting this one.
Thanks for the cache.

Checking our map & there are way too many green spots around Caboolture for our liking! LOL ...
Time to make a few changes!
15 of 30 found today!
The caching gods are definitely with us today as we continue to rack up several quick finds.
This cache was no exception.
A quick find, by Geo-Mamma, before moving on.
A wayward terrier arrived to see us off in grand style, acting like a charging bull, pawing the ground & letting us know he wasn't happy to see us! LOL ...
All good with the cache.
Nice park & playground.
Signed & replaced as found.

Spent 15 minutes looking for the needle in the haystack. The only trouble is that it is not evident which group represents the haystack. Couldn’t find it. Will come back another day.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
Approaching the park from the other side today .... I love it if we find a cache which was a DNF before ... So all good with this one. tftc
We had no luck with this one today. It was a bit of a "needle in a haystack" situation and for us we didn't find the needle. We had too many more we wanted to try and find today so we left empty handed after 20 minutes.
Well I thought that I had a good look in what seemed to be the right spot close to the coords, but alas nothing come up for me today.
Hi there wombles and co. We found your cache "The Allman brothers with an I" at 9:41:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11642.

Today was another nice day for 'caching, although the weather forcast was for storms in the afternoon. We started off at a random cache and then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest, and so on. We ended up logging 9 and DNF'd 2.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left:Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
