That took me a lot longer than I was expecting to find it. Only once I changed my angles that I saw it. TFTC
Coordinates changed from:S 34 4.467 E 150 32.062Coordinates changed to:S 34 4.469 E 150 32.061Distance from original: 13.2 feet or 4.0 meters.As I said in my last maintenance log, it hasn't moved far. Also that dead kangaroo is only bones now.
We stopped opened the car door and the stench from a dead kangaroo was too much to keep looking when it wasnt at coords. We left.
There's been some sloppy patchwork done to the damaged barrier here. Instead of replacing crushed fencing and poles, they've just rolled the flattened barrier up and capped the last intact post.Anyway a new container has been placed, though it might be off by a bit now, but that shouldn't stop you making a quick find.
Made a stop for this one on the way back to Camden area ... but I had no luck. It's been almost a year since it was found last and there looks to be some damage to GZ area. I had a quick look around, but there was a lot of traffic and plantlife was very tall and grabby - too much for my summer attire.Gave it a go.
With a long weekend in Canberra who can resist getting away! Joined a great bunch on friends to tackle a bit of the Picton area. The day included a big investment of time in an oldie (lots of fun) and then lots of caching in the region. A really delightful day trip with barb2e, Kittykatch, isopeda, albida33, fitzy_1965, Minniek, joolay, Smittengranny, contesta, EverestHigh and GLISS! Signed most of the caches as CDI - for Canberra Day Invasion. Thanks to all the cache owners for the fun!
Found with the Canberra group and signed as CDI 23 for Canberra Day Invasion. On the list of caches to do on Sat and the group included Kittykatch, Joolay, isopeda, Contesta, Albida33, Smittengranny, GLISS!, nibbletricecakes, fitzy_1965, MinnieK, EverestHigh . Tftc
On this Canberra Day holiday weekend a group of geofriends travelled north from Canberra and surrounds to grab as many caches as we could. This was one of them. Thanks to all COs for adding to our adventures. Log was signed as CDI23 - Canberra Day Invasion 23.
Fitzy_1965 & I headed to the Picton region today with a bunch of friends from Canberra for our Canberra Day long weekend invasion (the joys of living in NSW but working in ACT for me). All caches were signed as CDI23.
We had a fun day finding, trads, puzzles & multis and a few AL's for good measure. We ended up at dinner at a great Thai restaurant after the event in Picton itself.

Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 2. Today the trip got underway with the team caching. I sat out the walk to 'More', which I had done many years ago and joined up after a late morning break. The group was made up of Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Isopeda, Smitten Granny, Contesta, Gliss! and Nibletricecakes. EverestHigh joined a little later on. We had a huge list of caches to do and we got underway on a warming day. As things looked to be running out of time we changed to the end of the list to get to the Dam for a virtual and then cached out way back to Picton to get to the event and a chance to meet some locals and others caching in the area today. Dinner was a great local Picton Thai restaurant followed by finishing Lab caches before I headed back to Bargo for the night.
As we headed back to Picton we stopped for as many roadside caches as we could, pleas a bit of a lap of the two small towns we passed through. It was good of the road designers to put such a generous pull off area here.
Thanks for the cache Noodles22

Found with EverestHigh on our way back after a day in The Dilly. We didn't quite go around the bend to grab this one, but it took a bit of extra looking to spot it. TFTC
The hunt continued around this area to put some more smileys on the map along with ilook4geo. This was another nice easy find. Many thank go to Noodles22 for placing this cache.
Some more caches found around this area when we came along with goingplaces2. Had a good day and found what we wanted, just missing some for various reasons. Log signed and replaced. TFTC.
After doing the nearby AL I decided a quick detour to Burragorang Lookout was in order ... and as a bonus, I was able to score a few smilies along the way.
Thanks for this one Noodles22 ... it was where but how I expected so it took a few minutes to spot the tell tail sign of a hide. Nice one that I'll remember for next time!

Fell behind on my logs and only just getting a chance to log these later, sorry for any generic logs!
Out for my daily streak and had some time to go for a drive today. This was an interesting one, not in the usual spot but a nice quick park and grab. Thanks for the cache!

On the way to The Oaks to complete the Adventure Lab there. This one had me stumped for a bit. Perhaps not in the usual spot which is good.
Thanks Noodles22.
Thanks Noodles22.
A nice easy park and grab on a wet and rainy day. Sure is bendy here! But there is a good parking spot just a few metres from the cache, so easy to access safely. Tftc!
Headed out this way this afternoon hoping to get a few caches west of here before the fires impacted on the area but we were too late. We ended up getting a few around Oakdale before heading home. The boys in blue stopped by to see what we were doing, when we explained geocaching they took a lot of interest in the game.
Thanks
Thanks
Out for a caching day with Gundrills. Nice little hide. Thanks Noodles22 this one brought me to my 100th cache
Last one of 10 for the day out with geowife. Nice park and grab. Didn’t get straightaway due to trying to be discreet with cars passing by. Nice hide though. TFTC.
Geoboyfriend found this one as I was standing in front of it looking at old logs feeling dumb for not finding it quickly. Glad to see some great parking here - was worried on approach that it would be way less than what is there - thanks for the smart placement Noodles22.
Out cache with oldmorty on a big day. This one of many caches we found along our travels. Thanks to all the cache owners for maintaining their caches

Out today for a day’s caching with marj01, no bush bashing, just park and grab. After heading off pre-dawn from the eastern suburbs we visited the towns of Wallacia, Warragamba, Narellan, The Oaks and Nattai. Lots of caches were found; on the ground, dangling in trees, on signs, in stumps and even one in a haunted house. Whilst most of the caches were familiar we did strike some very ingenious ones. A large percentage of the finds were quick, however, there were some that had us scratching our heads for a while. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day out and I would like to thank all the CO's of the caches for hiding and maintaining the caches that we visited. And yes, I did read the reason/history for each cache in the lead up to the trip.
Found with *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Kitten*. Signed log. Thanks for the hide.

Hubz found this cache. Last time I passed by here we just couldn't locate this one. Wow have our snoopy skils improved since. Didn't take too long at all today and I can avenge my previous DNF. SL and returned cache to its hide'y hole.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet*. We have hardly been out over summer as it was just too hot and other things took over our days also. So this was the first day, apart from the OZ GeoMuster, that we have had a full day caching and I decided to begin by cleaning up strays. I had not completed the Burragorang Road series so that was the target and then to swoop on the surrounding area - accomplished. I am very pleased with our amazing results today, and all were found. We got home in the dark after a fantastic day out. The weather was fantastic and tonight the weather was balmy albeit for the wind.

Out and about with Happy Uke again today trying to grab some nogood caches hiding in and around Oakdale. And we were not disapointed!
We have not been up this way for more years than I care to remember.
Thanks

Since the wind had finally died down and the glorious sun was shining, a caching raid of The Oaks area was organised. Great caches and fantastic company. Finalf29 and I ended up finding twenty in the afternoon.
This was our fifteenth for the arvo. Not in the usual spot... clever hidey hole. Lots of traffic, but a good spot to park. Thanks

The Geowife is amusing herself today, so I decided to binge on caches. Decided to head towards Oakville and The Oaks to try to grab a swathe of caches. Got 15, but interestingly the closer I got to The Oaks the more the the DNFs piled up.
Closing in on 4000 finds. Time to pick a target, but not today...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Like the description says, a nice easy find. Which it is why it took me 10 minutes to spot the obvious... Sigh. I don't actually think I've seen this type of hide in this spot before.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Onward and, erm, onward!

Interesting that the hint is 'the usual', when the hide is nothing like the usual for this type of hide location. But it was still a quick find for us.
Thanks

Clue may state “usual hide” but it’s only from a few finds today that the method, rather than the location, is becoming “more usual” as well. Took a little while to change my way of thought which was a bit scary as cars came whizzing round the bend in the rain and as I returned to the car. Parking probably would have been safer traveling in the opposite direction.
I thought I'd be here a lot longer. As it was, I found it so quickly that I've nothing to say about it. A very nice roadside nonetheless.
05 September 2016 06:13:34 OK I hate cut and paste logs so will try my best
to add a little something different to each log
I post. Code 1 and myself were out on our annual
caching run weekend. So some of our logs read
both names but to save room on micros and nano’s
etc we used CJ1.
Like most of our past trips a little homework
was needed to work out a suitable location,
route and to build lists and PQs, with this done
and set we found our self’s in the Camden
location. A great range of finds and styles were
located with a great deal of questioning over
some of the posted difficulties and terrains.

I came out to Burragorang with the WaywardWoman this morning to find some new caches recently published, as well as to find older caches like this one I'd not gotten around to in the past. It took a moment or two before I located this one, with the assumption that caches in these locations will just jump out and bite. Not so. But the cache was found, signed and reassigned to its position in quick order. Thanks
Found this traditional hide, hidden in a non traditional way. All in good order. Tftc noodles22 xo
