Archiving as the container is gone and I'm not really actively caching any more.
it's a cool location for a cache (even if the house across the street now has a garage so the interesting item isn't as easily visible from the cache location) so I hope someone puts something back in its place.

Found on a very wet Wellington afternoon! Cache badly needs servicing. It's soaked and literally sitting in its own wee puddle.
Requires maintenance - log book waterlogged with mud.
We have left a scroll wrapped in plastic in with the logbook.

Had a bit of spare time today to pick up a few caches. Nice quick find here.

Did find however this cache is ruined !!!! Water all throughout and impossible to reach... my hands are covered in dirt! Would not recommend this one as waste of time sorry!
Was across the road and turned around to see the rock. The cache is now a red eclipse tin as I had to retreat to the car to use the tweezers to retrieve the wet log, and in doing so knocked the lid off the cache. Apologies.
Nice quick find with accurate coords. Awarding a favourite here for the simple fact that I have run/walked near this spot for over ten years, and never had the slightest inkling that such a remarkable item was sitting there the whole time! As a Who fan I was delighted to see that not only was the good Doctor home, but that his TARDIS is a very faithful replica. TFTC!
Thanks for the cool cache - we spotted the Tardis and took a photo. It would be awesome to own one!
No problem finding the cache but the TARDIS was more elusive. Perhaps it has returned to Gallifrey, or maybe the chameleon circuit is working again - see the photo...
Megan and I went out after dinner to see if we could find this one.
Thank you

Quick park and grab during lunch break. Well sort of. The cache wasn't really located as the hint described but in a crevice that was not accessible without tools. Not sure if that was the intention but it is potentially dangerous poking things in there so I rehid in a safer way at the same location that's in line with what the hint says anyway.
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who was staying for nearly six months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we followed the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Being in the South, the way now went up on the west coast back to the north. Crossing the Fjordland with its famous landscapes we've reached Te Anau to do a private flight over Milford Sound, then spend in Queenstown some time with the most spectacular activities ever done (Canyon jumping and Shotover canyon jetriding were some unforgetable experiences!) the way led us to the glaciers, up to the nice town of Westport and further to Abel Tasman Park to doing an unbelievable hike trough the park and an outstanding kayak tour with seal and bird watching.
Nelson, Picton; Cook Strait was waiting again for us.
Then it was time to starting back to the north. But first of all we catched the oldest cache of NZ, one of the oldest in the word. That was a must before we took our way via Palmerston North, Whanganui, Oponake to New Plymouth with stops on beautiful places.
Due to bad weather in the mountains it was not possible to do the Tongariro Crossing, so we decided to go straight north to Hamilton and then further to the Coromandel peninsula, where we spent the Easter days. Wonderful days with wonderful weather and fantastic places.
All will come to an end, so this outstanding vacation. Droven back to Auckland, where we performed the revenge of our Drift Kart competition and took then the airplanes back home.
Of course, even if was is not our main activity during this holidays, we were looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to ZathrasH for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

Nice to know the Dr is alive and well in the Hutt. Hope the trains don't keep him up at night.
My miss 7 LOVES Dr Who as this was a must while in the area! THANK YOU so much! Love the idea and the scenery! Left an Indian coin.
Day #3 geocaching in NZ/ and first day of two spent in Wellington + surroundings, in good company (=vipema, Veke68 & Katsukka = VVK-FIN in the logbooks, most of the time). Had a great time and found a lot of caches + saw so many interesting/beautiful places.
Thank you!!!!
Thank you!!!!
Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68 and Katsukka and had great time. We used VVK Fin (that is vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Finland.

Two days Wellington trip with Vipema and Katsukka. Many nice views and caches. We logged mostly only VVK-FIN to save space in the logbook.

Thanks for placing the cache. Quick find after a small wait for miles to go elsewhere.
#1278. I have been a fan of Dr Who for a long time. That is, it was still screening in black and white when I started watching it on TV in the late 1960s or early 1970s. So doing this cache was a no-brainer. But getting to it did require some brains as I discovered its position was in a different dimension as I drove overtop of the cache. So I parked the spaceship nearby and walked down a path in the dark (luckily no daleks, cybermen or muggers were lurking en route) and headed for the Tardis. Found in the first place checked. Some dog walking muggle must have wondered who was the weird guy with the headlamp on his spacesuit so I turned that off and popped into the trees until he disappeared from view. Then signed the logbook and returned it as found. All very quiet in this timeless zone tonight. Thanks for the cache.
Must go back by day to check out the blue box! Unbelievably I didn't see it in the dark. But maybe it was away on another planet at the time.

I'm not sure if I am logging this today 2015, or whether I am logging it some time in the future. I had a shock a minute ago, I heard a rushing noise and thought it might be the tardis about to leave on a new journey, but it was only a train approaching on the track nearby. Tftc.
Great cache for a wet day as you can materialize right at the GZ. Then had to pop across the road to see if the doctor was at home.
Grabbed this quickly as I'm fleeing a pack of Darleks. Gotta go - switching dimensions! TFTC! "Phwewsh"!
Went to log this but found I had already done so when I was here in the past. Dang this is confusing. Whoa! DARLEKS AGAIN! "Phwewsh"!

I was walking back to the car to sign the log was when I saw it TFTC!!!!!!!☺
Very surprized to see the Tardis nearby, but no sign of the manic man with the sonic srewdriver though. Cache located without any fuss, and its all safe & sound after the rain, and its all safe & sound after the rain. TFTC
A nice quick find at GZ. Had to do the old "My shoe needs tying." to replace the cache without arising suspicions of the tardis cleaner nearly.

Would have been more impressive during daylight hours, but had to be careful just in case any Cybermen spotted us, TFTC.
Found this on Good Friday morning with TregearP. What a COOL TARDIS. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble - really wanted to go and have a look. Bet its bigger on the inside

I was navigating, so we ended up walking a lot further than we needed . Somehow I thought the cache was hidden on the nearby over bridge. At least it wasn't raining at the time.
Spotted the reason for the cache as we walked towards GZ, cool as we are Dr Who fans. Cache was a quick find. TFTC
