Day out caching in and around Toowoomba today with geo-friends and finding targeted caches.
Stopped here to search for this one with a previous finder, but couldn't locate it with all the tall grass and ground coverage. The recent rains have made everything grow.
A PAF to CO and was advised we can log a find and they will come check on the cache.
The view was stunning by the way!!

Day 36 Mainland trip
Out and about caching in the area with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. A quick find at GZ while driving the tourist route. Great views. TFTC

Caching in and around Toowoomba and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found the cache; but it's super water logged, unfortunately. Amazing views though...enjoyed the little trip down to this one.
Log damp.
Cache container good condition.
Left $1.50 and a rhino toy.
Great view.
Went to this area many moons ago for a Christian retreat and Alpha camp.
Area here not changed one bit...
Aaah memories.
Camo was light....

Took alittle time to find this one - Found it though. You don't need to go 'within' to get the cache. Hidden beneath a little log, with some bark that I placed above it, to offer some water protection. Great view
Note: Log was very damp & slightly mouldy.

In Brisbane for a conference and naturally taking some extra time to go Geocaching. So conference is over, now time for some serious caching. Heading out to Toowoomba for a few days to cache around the area. We much prefer small towns and country caching to big city caching.
Mr S found eventually while Mrs S paced back and forth being a chicken when it comes to high places great views though.
Thanks vestal and greetings from New Zealand.

An awesome spot and we even got muggle friend Tanya out of her comfort and out enjoying the view!
Over in Toowoomba, remembered about the souvenir available, had got all the others along this drive previously so picked this one up. Great view, pity about all of the building material that have been dumped in the area. TFTC
Woah! so many places to hide a cache here! Found it after the GPS settled but we looked in quite a few places till it did. Fab valley views! TFTC kestal.
Will return. Disapointed to see so much rubbish dumped in the area. (Builders materials)
Today I decided to get a few kilometres of hiking done, in training for the Hike for Homeless coming up soon which I'm participating in. So I did a warm-up at Jubilee Park and solved a puzzle cache there, then on my way to Redwood I pulled in at this spot.
I missed this cache last time I searched. I think I was in a bit of a hurry and my GPSr had me looking in the wrong area. So today I was all psyched up for it to take ages, and I was staying as long as it took. So it was funny when I found it super quickly. Always the way, huh! Thanks for this cache, kestal, great spot, great view and a fave point from me.

Awesome view and hide good spot! Got signed and returned same place! Fav point from me! TFTC
It was a bit of a scramble getting to this cache but it was successfully found after just a short search. All was done as needed to be and all was replaced as it had been found. The container and contents were all found to be in good condition. Our thanks go to kestal for this cache placement.

Wednesday. It's the Slow Punctures' 31st anniversary today, so a trip to Toowoomba to find 2 long-since-solved challenge caches was our present to each other.
We had the same thought as Vegan Cachers, inasmuchas if we went to far there would be no chance of in and under, just down and downer! What a view! The co-ords bounced around for us a bit and had us looking in some incorrect places. Finally Luke corrcetly interpreted the clue and found the good-sized container in a likely spot.
This was the 3rd of 4 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***kestal***, for showing us this place.

I came over this way to catch a glimpse of the progress on the Toowoomba bypass, and picked up this one as a bonus.
Stunning part of Toowoomba we'd not been to before. We went around the loop three times admiring the views. Thanks for placing a cache here kestal xo
Amazing place! The views were outstanding. Thank you for taking to such a scenic place we never would have visited otherwise. Leaving a favourite point for you.
**Smilie #4723**
Headed up the mountain to grab a few smilies around Toowoomba.
A nice quick find but , for a moment, it had me wondering if it was going to be 'in & under' or 'over & down'!
Great views from here & a nice breeze to cut the heat a little.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Gotcha !!! Quick trip from Yeppoon to geodaughter in Glen Innes .Found time to do 20 caches and drive 750 Km today. TFTC
I came up to Toowoomba today specifically to complete a nearby challenge cache, but it would have been a waste not to gather up a few more of the caches in the neighbourhood of that one
What fantastic views from up here. The people who own houses up here are so lucky to have these views in their backyards! This must be a rather exclusive suburb I'm thinking?
The decided to drive the road that winds through here, rather than walking from cache to cache, but I did stop and enjoy the view at each one
While visiting this suburb today I picked up two mystery caches, one multi cache, one Earthcache and six traditionals just from this nice little area. I did miss some further out(and down the trail) ones, but I guess I can make another trip some other day
This particular cache certainly lives up to its name. Looks like a lovely spot for a picnic
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache kestal

Up in Toowoomba to attend an Event (lunch). In the afternoon joojoo57, Aussie Liahona and Crew153 done a number of caches on the northern side of Toowoomba. Had a great afternoon trying to locate and finding them, along with some walks, with great views too.
It appears there had been a burn off too.
Located cache. TFTC
Apologies for the generic comment.

This container was lucky to survive the burn off around this area. Lovely views. Thanks kestal.
On a drive around Prince Henry Drive with Aussie Liahona, Richmond Lad and joojoo57 and we stopped off for a quick find on this one.
There has been some routine burning in the area but the cache is in good condition.
Thanks kestal

Yay after meaning to do this cache for soo long ive finally done it.. tftc.. You've been Bear'd
Had a great trip around Prince Henry Drive with my Toowoomba based Mum, finding 4 out 4 caches. This was our first and the longest to find. I think I tried coming at it from the wrong angle and thereby bumping the terrain marks up a couple of notches. Got there in the end though which made it all the more satisfying. TFTC
We parked close to here, and enjoyed another specular view. We spent quite some time looking for the cache, not sure why. The co-ords are great and the hide is not that hard, guess we just a little cache blind today. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
**# 14723** Found on our extended 2016 winter escape trek.
A perfect spring morning for a drive around the East side of Toowoomba.
Not many muggles around here today and another top view.
Thanks for the cache kestal,

Found this one while in Toowoomba for a few days with OrionJ. This one did not take too long to find once the muggles had go past. Signed log and replaced cache as found. TFTC kestal
The next stop heading around this area and such a beautiful spot here. Had to wait a few minutes to take a look as a few girls from the nearby camp were wandering down the road. Then the cache did take a little bit of looking, but soon enough discovered it in the hiding spot. We got it signed and replaced before continuing along.

Definitely an easy way and a hard way to find this cache!! Watch out for the tree with spikes!! Tftc
I blame my GPS for making me do a bit of bush bashing here but I got there. I am amazed at the tracks that go over the edge at this point. I don't know whether people really do use them. Thanks Kdstal - a great spot.
Day 1 of my Toowoomba Road Trip with barbb and FastEd. Cache #11 for the day. Such a lovely view up here. There's a couple of ways to get to the cache, just be careful where you step as it looks like a popular party spot - there's glass around. TFTC kestal and for bringing us to a spot that has a great view of the valley
Off to Toowoomba for a couple of days with barbbowman and Raynersinoz.
What a great view. Thanks for bringing us here.

Back in Toowoomba visiting my awesome geo-partner KaleidoscopeCass.. but unfortunately she has to work. Fortunately that means that I am able to get out and explore. Sitting in the car nearby i checked the gps and this cache came up on the radar. After a quick search. Cache was in hand and log signed. Thanks for the cache
P.s. im scared to death of heights but i managed to get it!

Took a lovely drive in this area today to pick up some of the bucket list of caches that I have been meaning to do for a long time now. Geodog and I had fun with all of these. Used my phone GPS... probably a mistake in this area. However the find was made. SL TNLN TFTC.
I had big plans today. I rarely get to visit Toowoomba to go caching, so I wanted to make the most of it with a big day. I had been planning on being on top of TableTop at dawn, but I slept through my alarm and grabbed another hour and a half sleep.
Having knocked over Table Top, I took a walk around Picnic Point collecting a few caches and a solved puzzle and then set out to grab other selected caches. The caches along Prince Henry Drive got added because they have great views of where I had been earlier this morning.
At GZ, my GPS was pointing about 3 metres further down the hill than where I ultimately made the find. Of course, that happened to be an impenetrable bush/scrub (which I thenpenetrated from two different directions). Eventually I spotted the container and made the find.
Many thanks kestal.

Again, what great view spots there are around Toowoomba. And this one is spectacular. We paused and took some photos and then got down to the business of the cache. It wasn't long before we had it in hand and we were able to sign the log. Thanks for bringing us here kestal by placing a cache here for us and others to find. [^]
Our second of three caching day in Toowoomba for this month, where we were joined by DiamonJs and Aussie Liahona for the morning. Fortunately it was a beautiful day, after not looking so promising late yesterday afternoon and evening!
Traveling along the Drive we saw some wonderful Valley Views with the sun peeking through the clouds. Great viewing.
Found at 7.25am on 17th March 2016. TFTC.

I had a family gathering in the afternoon but decided to arrive early to check out Toowoomba. I had spent a bit of time here as a kid while visiting my Nanna. My memories of the town were a bit muddled up after all of these years so a bit of a drive around helped out.
I really enjoyed the view as I drove around. It was quite a warm day so I am glad I didn't have to walk too far. There was a bit of a breeze as I searched to cool me down.
Thanks for the cache kestal. Cheers!

Found it with my boys. great view thanks Kestal for bringing us here. FP given. picked up TB
T-Tech had to work up at Mt Kynock today, and I tagged along for the drive from Brisbane, then borrowed the car to do just a little bit of caching around Toowoomba
A few people were in the parking area, but the cache was nowhere near them, so I had no trouble making the find. Quite an amazing view right here [^] TFTC, and for bringing me to see the view, kestal.

Found it on a day trip to Toowoomba with geobuddies to visit some of the gardens. We stopped here to get this cache and was rewarded with such a beautiful view! TFTC!!
[Blue]This cache was found at around 06:23 and brings our overall cache find tally to 9195.
I found this one while on a run around the area this morning. I had thought that the cache, being a regular size would have a pen but it didn't so I used a piece of bark to sign my name. Some fantastic view this morning.
Thanks kestal for the cache. [/Blue]

With an event organised for the weekend, we decided to spend a few days in Toowoomba to complete a few challenge caches on our list and to tick a few more boxes for the second loop of our D/T grid. After finding the Know Your Local Cacher Challenge cache, we continued along the road admiring the views as we went. We stopped at ground zero and after admiring the views, we added our name to the log and continued on our way.
Thank you kestal for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy.
