### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Grey Ghost 69,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (more's the pity), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please **post a Write Note log every 4 to 6 weeks,** so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Found with T. We were in Walhalla for a train ride and visit while on holidays. After the ride, we had a quick look, but there were too many muggles around. Returned later that afternoon with no-one about. After a short search came up with the find where thought it was but couldn't look properly before due to the muggles. Log signed and replaced. TFTC.

Have wanted to visit Walhalla for a while.
Enjoying the weekend here - toot toot! Tain ride was awesome

No luck today. We found a magnet that seemed strangely out of place, so suspect this one might've gone
Took us a while to find because some of the container is missing. The station master turned up and thanked us for clearing all the webs off.
With my wife off on long run, I planned on heading towards the Talbot Hut event early to get a few caches. But before we both went our different ways, we took our puppy for a quick 1 kilometre run. I then left at 7.20 am, before heading to Moe, Walhalla and then the Mushroom Rocks carpark for the event.
Found this one at 10.20 am, after checking in all the wrong places. At least the workman down on the station were far enough away.
Thanks for the cache 4x4 Earth Crew, Grey Ghost 69 and David Man

Hit the deadly treadly riding between Erica and Walhalla, partly on the rail trail and partly on the road.
Completed a few caches in Walhalla and played tourist for a while.
Walked a few of the Abandoned-Railway series in the afternoon.
I saw the engine leave Thomson this morning, and arrived at this cache in time to see the engine pull into the station.
Nice clue.
Thanks, Robmc.

Micaparamedic and myself decided to go for an afternoon drive and try our luck at a couple of Adventure Labs out this way.
After completing the near by one we headed here to to try our luck. Mica had already found this one so he stood back and just grinned as I hunted in a logical location. Fortunately on the last place I looked the cache reviled it’s self and the log book now contains our name.
Looks like they are doing line work and the rail will be closed until next week end.
Many thanks 4x4 Earth Crew, Grey Ghost 69 and davidman for the cache.

No trains running today and very few people about so we were able to find this one unhindered and quite quickly. The clue made sense and that helped!
With some better weather finally coming round and diaries aligning a plan was hatched with Rebel Acts to meet in Moe and head to Walhalla for a caching run. There were a nu,ber of newer caches there that neither of us had done and it was a good chance to re-visit an area neither of us had been to for some time.
We came across a variety of caches and did quite a bit of walking. Most of it uphill and down dale!
An opportunity even came up to lock up the 4WDfor the first time in earnest rather than in the driveway just at home.
It was a great day out with plenty of fun and ribbing, mixed in with some spectacuar scenery and beautiful sunshine.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache 4x4 Earth Crew, Grey Ghost 69, davidman.

Another day out with Ski pair on a nice sunny day, this time We decided to head to Walhalla to have a go at the lab cache there and do some of the new caches in the area, it had been many years since I was last there. We enjoyed the many scenic sites and history of the area.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels of the area.

Well I timed this one well - the train pulled into the station just as I arrived at GZ. Cool! Thank you for the cache!
Didn't have a pen with me, but got got here before station staff (as I volunteer), magnetic clue really helps, can find even when station is closed.
A great first cache to find on our arrival in Walhalla today for a few geocaches. We have travelled on this little railway in the past, but today the town is super quiet. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
It was an unplanned visit to Walhalla today. We packed a picnic lunch and followed our nose. Such a sunny day to revisit old favourites such as the Walhalla cemetery. Our walk included this find. Thanks for the cache today.
Found this one a while back, must have forgotten to log it. A nice easy find, thanks for the cache!
Found with GeoHubby TB142 and GeoFriend RogerZ1956 and Nature Girl.TFTC. sorry, forgot to log it when Found.

Decided to get out of the house and go for a drive on a beautiful day.
Well the town of Walhalla was pumping today, plenty of visitors wandering the street.
This was our first stop in town and it wasn't until I found the cache that I realised what the clue was referring to. No space in the log sheets left so I tore a page out of my note pad and left it there for others to sign as well

A visit to Walhalla on our post Easter getaway. Surprised that almost the whole town was shut. No where to get food, there were tourists walking around dazed not knowing what to do! Luckily we had a a bunch of food in the car and snacked on that between the steam train ride and extended gold mine tour.
Cheers for the cache!
Cheers for the cache!
First find in quite some time, haven’t changed the date in our stamp in a while. Time to get back into it, and where better than in the beautiful Walhalla. First time out camping since the lockdowns and the first of hopefully many caches.
Thanks for the cache guys!

Not being people persons we certainly picked the wrong day to visit this town. The town itself is quite stunning and I would have loved to check it out some more but the imagery that came to mind was ants on a cupcake. Too many cars, yelling, music, chainsaws, and bogan families screaming at each other. We didn't last long.

Dropped my son off to walk the AAWT to Mt Victor and then decided to spend the rest of the day exploring the area. Being unprepared for geocaching made it a bit difficult with no cell phone reception in the area! Did have a map of where the caches were but no other info so it was a bit hit and miss in Walhalla. Tried guessing what might be required for the Earthcache but fell well short in that! No hope with the multi either of course All was not lost as I did manage a couple of traditional caches....phew.... skill or luck, who knows? Made my mark in the log with a pencil but it seemed very faint so may not be readable.
Walhalla is a beautiful place and it must be so peaceful not having cell phone reception ........unless of course you want to geocache! Next time I will be better prepared. TFTC
The train was pulling out of the station as I carried out my search for this cache

Very quick and easy find. Clue and coordinates were accurate. Loads of muggles, so I had to try and be discrete!
It's quiet today here in Walhalla went for a nice walk on a cool morning. Even signed up a new cache for my troubles. Thanks for the cache. Regards from Victor.
We are spending a couple of nights at the Star Hotel here in town.
After dinner we took an evening stroll to make this find. Initially, we said "Well it won't be anywhere near that" But after checking all the other likely spots, we went back to the obvious and there is was!

I love Walhalla! Was taken on a visit out here by the wonderful kryslazz as a bit of a therapy day. We still have Walhalla caches to find, but I could honestly visit 100 times. Thank you!
We arrived and bumbled around a lot before reading the hint. Proceeded to bumble around more until the cache was found. We had spotted it twice, it just didn't register in our brains
After signing we headed to the station to check it out. Unfortunately the timing wasn't right to catch a ride so we'll park that idea for next time.
Thank you Grey Ghost for placing a cache here!

Found while on a day trip to Walhalla. Nice easy find. Fav point for bringing me to a tourist railway. Thanks for this cache. Find No: 1009
We were disappointed to discover that the train did not operate today, but that gave us plenty of time to explore the area without interruption. Loved our walk through the town.

Found on a visit to Walhalla from New Zealand, walking in the footsteps of my great grandfather who came out from Switzerland - one of the Swiss- Italians. Great to find a cache in such a delightful spot. Thanks for placing it here.
A quick sidetrip after blacksmithing brought Genghicat and I to Walhalla. Such an interesting little town, like a theme park that's not. Well worth preserving. It's an area we've both noted for a future visit and tour. The cache was found in good condition. Tftc

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you 4x4 Earth Crewfor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

An early start this morning so we could explore Walhalla while grabbing a few caches before the '8 Months to Walhalla' Event. In the company of H_3 and beckNmonts we struggled to find somewhere to leave the cars but after a U-turn and some manoeuvring we had a carpark each and made our way back to GZ.

Found by Mary and David at 1200. Always time for more cache finds as we head home after today's Event. A joy to return to Walhalla after a 14-year absence. A train had just arrived, so we waited until the passengers dispersed, then an easy find. Still a hint of smoke in the air after the recent fires. Our thanks to 4x4 Earth Crew.

A road trip with good friend sharkiefan. Plan was to go Walhalla for a couple of events and then up to the top of Mt Baw Baw before getting back to the City.
Leaving town after the event we had to stop off to grab this one. We had a chuckle at the sign seeing as the carpark closes 40 min after the last ride.... boy id hate to miss that ride home. Might be a long walk.
