Sorry but the sign that was host for the cache has been vandalized leaving nowhere for the cache to reside. Will have a look for another site when the rain stops.
No luck for us here - but we think we know how it was supposed to be hidden and it could be damaged? Or we were just being blind!
Found it after a little stroll on the beach returning home. Great hide and the log almost got eaten by the dog!
Merry Christmas, awesome day to go caching the streets were very quiet this morning I wonder why?...... ☺ Day 33 of a 50 day streak with the South East Auckland Crew challenge going on. Easy find this morning on my way home to Jafa land. Tftc
We travelled through your wonderfull country and are amazed off its beauty.
Thank you for all these beautifull spots.

Out for a late night walk and looking out for geocaches along the way. Some aren't very easy in the dark but this was a nice little hide we could do well enough in the dark. A nice little hide. TFTC
This was one of more than fifty Geocaches I found today in the company of HKB and 11hpg11. We signed the logs HI1, an anachronism of our handles to save on log space. We travelled over to the Mount and Papamoa from Hamilton, leaving at the end of the All Black/ South Africa test at about 5am and didn’t roll back into Hamilton until after 8pm. It was a long day, and the weather wasn’t the best but that didn’t stop us from having a great time exploring the area and enjoying the wide variety of high quality hides.
Since we nearly parked on top of it we didn't have to much trouble locating this cache. Thanks for the hide.

Out on a numbers mission with HKCB and Iammrwalker to clear out some of the caches in Tauranga/Papamoa area. We left Hamilton at 5am and had a full day of caches, a few DNFs, a refreshing swim in a pond and a whole lot of laughs. We signed logs as 'HI1' as an acronym for our caching names to save log space. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great variety of caches, puzzles and location
Jumped out of the car and made the find on this one, very clever. Thanks for showing us this subdivision

Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
This on didn't fool us, parked right next to GZ and HPG soon had it in hand. Thanks for the placement.

In light of the last log I thought I had better check as the home of this cache is NOT in a flax bush. The cache is in place, dry & good to go.
Cant believe it took a 6year old to find this one, if my daughter wasn't with me I'm not sure I would have found it. TFTC
This has always tempted new while working in the area but never found the time. Knocked it off today without any trouble. Thanks
We enjoyed finding this on a wet & sunny autumn afternoon. It was an easy find today as we had just found one in HB like it (thanks to bchefj&p). A good hide kennyclan thanks for the park & grab, another smiley on the map & another dot day gone.
Edited to visit TB's.

Found this one a while ago but forgot to log it. Register signed when found. Easy one with grandkids. TFTC.
Lovely day for a bike ride around the growing Papamoa trails. What a lot of development going on here. Nice cache, all good. Earns a fav from us. TFTC
Our first trip down to Tauranga for a basketball event so we stopped off to grab a few caches.
Quick find in the evening just as the light was about to vanish.

We come past this place every day and thought it was time we got this cache, read the clue, kids jumped out of car and ran across road, before I could get there they had cache in hand, tftc
What an awesome design for a cache very clever and original, altho i went straight to the spot and first thing I tried must be getting some caching senses, or maybe I should stop reading the clues lol, Thanks very much for such a cool cache to finish off the day!

Found on International Pi Day, had an hour or so spare on our way home so snuck in a few Papamoa caches while here, Nicely hidden, muggles would be totally unaware.....

Nice find. This is s busy little street. I'd recommend tweezers for the log. TFTC.
Commenced my search and before long I had my partner yelling out from the drivers seat "shouldn't it be *************".... turned out he was right, bummer - I'm sure I would have found it myself if I had a little bit more time!! Nice hide, TFTC
10.05am - On way home after being at the Jet Boat Racing yesterday. Another dot day so had to fill the gap for January. Quick easy find with good hint. SLTFTC

#306 - so close to home & only just found it today! It's going to be a nice area when it's finished. Ill admit this was my 2nd visit, it wasn't till I reread the logs last night, I thought I know where that is, popped round this morning & there it was! Very clever indeed.
A nice quick find here in a subdivision that looks as if it will rapidly expand. Very nicely done, TFTC!
Heading over to Tauranga to catch up with friends post Christmas and managed to convince Mrs Dragon that a slight detour was in order to collect a few new caches.
just before visiting said friends we "happened" to drive right past this one so of course being the dutiful cachers that we are, we had to stop and complete the formalities
Thanks for the placement

We have recently moved to Papamoa and drive past this spot daily but have not stopped to look for this until this evening. Once at GZ the find was reasonably straight forward. We suspect that this area will soon develop and it will become more difficult to conceal your yourself. Tftc
A really enjoyable day in Tauranga. An early morning raid on Matua netted a few. A middle of the day stroll (yeah right!) up the Mount added a few more, and a quick jaunt to Papamoa enabled us to find the one we'd heard about at the event last night. So long and thanks for all the caches
A spoilt grand daughter needs new shoes and clothes... A trip to Tauranga, perhaps. While her grandmother and aunty indulge in a bit of shopping... I'm supposed to wait in the car. No way! It's hot out here. One thing leads to another... Hadn't intended on caching, but found myself driving towards Papamoa...
This was first up... Not wanting to melt, I had to manoeuvre the car to make this an almost park and grab. Took note of ground zone and made a direct line for the cache. A quick find. TFTC.

Clever little cache, Kennys !
Nice to see its neighbouring young pohutukawa just breaking into flower; Christmas must be coming
Thank you

Had a dot day so decided to travel to papamoa to fill one. Saw this one come out and wondered what interesting cache the CO had come up with this time. The hint confirmed where to have a harder look and I wasn't disappointed. Soon fished up the cache, but I must confess that I did have visions of something breaking and losing it. But no log signed and cache back in place - safe and sound. TFTC
Great wee cache, #9 my favourite number and colour, very cool picked up on our walk this morning, TFTC Kennyclan
Was on our way back from Tauranga, so we decided to pick it up on the way.
Quickly located GZ. We were going to look in all the likely places where a cache would be hidden but nope, not with a Kennyclan cache. A clever hide, have seen some like this before.
SL TFTC (Cool Camo and well hidden)
Thanks Kennyclan

Very clever cache. Wonder how long the sign will be there. Thanks again Kennyclan.
First to log but second to find.
A tricky little hide.
Thanks for the cache Kennyclan.
(We think we saw you leaving Phillip. Congratulations)

HAHA yay! FTF
We were on our way back from some caching up Plummers Point and the Huharua Pa and I got the email... We're not finished yet kids! GZ yielded a very quick find for us and we quickly replaced after signing. My son asked if we were gonna head to Maungatawa View next and I thought, nah, we'll hang around here and see who turns up. Not 2 minutes later I spot Murray behind a steering wheel, so I figure we'll watch for a little while and see how the pros do it! We were unsure whether they had found the next cache on our list and if they hadn't we would simply meet them there, so we were off again.
(always nice to see some follow cachers out on the field)

A night raid was required for this new release. A BBQ and firecrackers were the first order of business tonight. What a great evening for Guy Fawkes. We sat around the brazier on a very still and mild evening, toasting marshmallows. Once the visitors were packed off home, we jumped in the geo-jalopy and headed over to Papamoa. These days there are no short cuts through Kairua Road, so down the length of Welcome Bay Road we went. We parked right beside GZ and had the place to ourselves. We had the cache in hand in very short time. It's nicely concealed - just perfect for the location. TFTC
