Day forty three of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris. Our second day on the Timber Trail. Started about 8:30am and rode to about 1pm to drop off our bikes. We then drove to Te Kuiti. We only did a few of caches on the trail, and a couple when we arrived. An interesting little garden tucked away here.No fish in the pond though.Good to see this garden being well maintained. Thanks, Robmc.
We had a nice walk in this garden. The garden is nicely arranged, but does require some maintenance. TFTC!
Day 43 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today the fellas rode the second part of the Timber Trail while Lady Morris rested at the Lodge until pick up time then it was onto Te Kuiti. After settling into our accommodation we toured the town and refuelled the car and our supplies.A lovely garden and we have been surprised there isn't more hides like this in NZ - sure beats pill bottles in long grass. Thanks for contributing to an amazing holiday.

A lovely garden and the camellia will be in bloom in a couple of weeks - worth coming back to see it flowering.
Pulled into Te Kuiti today for a fuel break. Motorhome stopped and refused to carry on. Well, what can I do until tomorrow when the garage opens? Geocaching of course. TFTC
#897We decided to stop by a couple of caches while scoping out a place for dinner. I enjoyed the bit of serenity the Japanese gardens offered. Thanks for bringing us to this spot.
Felt a bit naughty going off track to get to the cache. Nice relaxing little park.
I'd had a DNF here about 5 years ago so it was good to stop off here while passing through the town this morning. This time the cache was a quick find and all in good order. Thanks very much for the cache.
Found it today, hint bang on . . . . . . TFTC, Beautiful gardens here, I am down this way with friends from Canada - and we have been on a lil road trip seeing some of the beautiful spots our country has to offer.
Stopped in Te Kuiti during our Motorhome travels, what an absolutely peaceful spot this is, and we found it
Adding a "maintenance" log to clear a DNF tag from an accidental DNF log by a cacher.
Beautiful garden and well maintained cache giving us respite on a day trip Auckland to Wellington. Tftc !! Sorry no pen as we didn't plan to go caching. Sent picture proof to co
Making our way from Hamilton to New Plymouth today - grabbed a few caches on the way. Parked nearby and started searching - took a little while but the cache was eventually spotted - log signed and all returned TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Found it! Vial is easier to do up if you twist container and not lid. Thanks for this cache.

Nice little corner of town .
Found the newish camo version, so didn’t keep looking for a possible zip tie? If there is one, cache wasn’t hanging on it.
Replaced in the same place found - as per clue in other respects . Thanks

Awwse idea to make a geocache to get people to learn of a really cool place but almost unknown
Found quite easily on a rainy afternoon. Sited further back than expected
Thanks
Thanks
Between shopping and the departure of the bus there was still time to visit this miniature Japanese Garden.
Found with Nutty Nora. Note that the black zip tie has been replaced by a silver hook. Don’t waste your time looking for the black zip tie!
Thanks so much for the info about The Kuiti... I used to annually get a bus with my mum from Taumaranui to visit my aunt... The bus always stopped at the tea rooms... But that was as much as I ever got to see of the town... It was great to look around... Thanks for providing extra motivation with the caches as well as sharing about the history... Awesome thanks
A straightforward find after a lunch stop. Lovely garden. Thanks for placing the cache
Headed up to Tauranga today for Christmas. Stopped in Te Kuiti for a break and checked what caches were nearby. This was was just a short distance away. It was a reasonably quick find. #5646. TFTC.
Awesome little place, we have lived up the road in Hangatiki for 5 years and never visited this spot. Thanks
Over visiting family over from the UK, Lovely garden, on our first search we couldn't find it. TFTC I can't remember if we replaced it temporarily for our nieces/nephews to find or replaced it fully or waited for co, i think we did a temp for kids then went back and signed once it was sorted, i just remember we definitely got it but kiddos overwrote my draft so unsure lol (Sorry for the very very late Log, between limited Data, some issues with our travel, some personal issues and a build up meaning the ADHD couldn't cope tackling these but finally getting logged Please forgive)
