Decided to head out to do some caching around the Parkinson Bushland Reserve after work. Another quick find and a nicely themed cache. TFTC. TNLN. SL. Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. After doing the Glider Forest Trails a couple of days ago, decided to try and smilie out my map in the area by doing these ones in the adjoining forest. Ended up doing a 13.5 km walk over five hours and finding 29 out of 29. Very pleased that all the caches were in place and able to be found, even the ones that had some recent DNFs.A nice quick find here in the hint location. Thx to the COs for placing all these caches.
Out for a half day with nikid1 so we have to make the most of our limited time to find caches for the cosmic quest. We ended up walking over 15km & finishing in the dark with the night cache. Ah I love this container, leaving a favourite point. TFTC forbiddenground
GC5HETG "To the coal yard we go"Its a Thursday and I finished work at lunchtime so that gave KerriMG and I a chance to go caching. KerriMG had spied this area for us to target today. It was dark when we finally made it back to the car and a total of 30,000 steps for the day for me. Nicely themed cache TFTC forbiddenground
Out and about caching today to find some caches. Went out early before it got to hot - expecting 37c. Arrived at GZ and found cache quickly. TFTC
Found the cache after a good walk. Signed the log and placed back where found. TFTC
Today I explored the Parkinson Bushland, doing a 6.5km loop and finding 17 caches. After completing the KPT, I continued along to find the train caches. My youngest boy was a big train fan a few years back so I'm very familiar with all the Thomas characters. This was a very easy find and a great cache container. Thanks forbiddenground for this excellent cache in the train series!
This one was cool and very close to two other caches which was nice. I liked the container they used as it was a train and it matched with the name.
Family geo day out with Goteammullan, drossiter, tlm83. Trying to gain some more smilies. TFTC.
Caching today in an area that needs me to have more smiles.

Today I returned to the Parkinson bushland & found another 13 caches in 3 1/2 hours on foot around the western part of the reserve.
A cute little container found in good order. Log signed & cache returned TFTC

I was wanting to find at least 28 caches in a day for a challenge and decided this was a good area to achieve it. It was a perfect day for a long walk with hardly anyone else about.
Another good idea for reusing. Tftc

Found this but there was either a lot of Spiders or mosquitos. Either way it was a quick sign and put back before I disturbed to much.
Another nicely themed container in this series… spot on co-ordinates made for a quick find here accompanied by the constant drone of the motorway… tftc…
This one was out in the open and apart. We fixed up the coal car and gave it some shelter so it is all good to go again.
A phone call to Willis007 and a plan was hatched for an early morning start on a bike riding tour of this series. Picked up willis007 and we were off, we reached our destination and then noticed there was a first to find nearby. Nah, someone will be on it, let’s get it later, if it is still there.
We set off on our ride and it was all excitement plus, knocking over the first few caches in good time. Then the excitement happened, as I was flying down the hills to the next cache a washout appeared with a big boulder with a flat front. I thought to myself “Oh shit this is not going to end well”. Sure enough even with the brakes on full I still hit the rock and was thrown over the handle bars, then the bike came over me. Got up and brushed myself off, only to find a lot of bark off on my right leg and right arm and a very sore shoulder.
Willis007 then turned up and was prepared to call it a day. Nah it's just a flesh wound let’s keep going. 4 hours later we found ourselves at the browns plains ambos getting cleaned up, lol, caching completed for the day.
We found 30 plus caches and 2 DNF’s today, the dnf’s were very tricky and in the heat we were over it.
Thanks for placing this series here, we will be back on a cooler day, sorry for the generic post but i got a heap to log.

Cool outer container. We over thought it and looked at an actual log. Then when we found it we understood.
Four cyclists; ruzzelz, beardman75, bulldozer72 and me, enjoyed our morning riding from cache to cache through this nice quiet bushland today. A great little container. And another lovely tree - its colours were a delight. TFTC, forbiddenground. =^.^=
Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching - I had put the call out to gather a few cachers for the On Ya Bike @ Paradise day. With an 8:00 am start the plan was to clear this little piece of bushland of caches.
Our small group consisting of La Kedi, Bulldozer, Beardman and myself set out for a fun filled day on the bikes. Along the way we ran into tvsmiley x 3 walking around the bush land.
Thanks, I love a good bike cache

Back out here for another afternoon of caching with the aim to clear this bush land of unfound caches. This was the 3rd.
Spied the hide from the main path and made the shot walk in to grab it. Signed the newer of the two logbooks.

Second weekend in a row we ventured out for our weekly outing from the house to break up being stuck in the one place for a week. Not a single sole did we see in our hour or two wondering through the bushland. Its amazing how much you appreciate the chance to enjoy the great outdoors.

Early morning start for a bike ride in this forest.
I have been saving this cluster of caches since I moved to BNE last year, as I do need 259 finds in November for a personal goal.
This cache was a quick find for me, a nice ride here.
The cache was very visible, added some camo
Thank you for hiding here

Having an all day geocaching excursion with Oddiewan. Some decent terrains alongside some simples. Apologies for the generic log, but those that know me well know the logging struggle is REAL.
Our BitternA4 would also jave liked this one. Again we took a photo to show him.
Thanks heaps!

I was in need of 21 more cache finds for the mystery at the museum souvenir challenge. Looking at the map, I decided this was a good place to target today. Nice cache here, very cool. TFTC
On our travels from Brisbane down to Mount Buffalo we searched and found som Geocaches. Thanks to all owners for the Caches.

A lovely container greeted us at GZ. We are out and about in this beautiful bushland area today, on our bicycles and collecting a few geocaches along the way. We have been following the well marked Firetrail‘s. A few months ago we were in this area, but on the other side of fence and so could not access these geocaches. Nice to be back on the right side today!

Out with Aussie Clarke and Aussie Pete geocaching for the day. Great bushlands to explore on a nice warm winters day. Thanks for all the caches. We replaced some full logs on the way.
On the heels of Doully and Aussie Pete. Thanks to the CO’s for the inspiring caches.

I really came to log "Ghost" for a challenge, but while I'm here, why not find a few more caches? The trouble is, we were running out of time and my son was getting worried about the time, so I agreed that I would look for no more than 2 minutes for each cache, and if I didn't find it in 2 minutes, I'd abandon the search.
Fortunately, "to the coalyard" was a quick and easy find right next to where I was walking, and I managed to sign the log in no time. I love the cache hide, and would have liked more time to take some photos. Thanks for the fun hide! When my son was younger, he'd have loved this series, but today he was just worried about getting back in time for his wife!

Found @3:38:00 PM.
With the hidden creature souvenirs month beginning we began searching for possible locations to have a "big" day of caching.
With Lismore area cleaned out Walden clan and I decided to pack the bikes and head North. We left Lismore around 5am and returned around 8:30pm with around 70 finds.
Really enjoy caching this way. A few mishaps along the way.
1. A puncture
2. Lost mobile phone (luckily found again)
3. A run in with the police while trying to access an area that had a road closed sign.
4. A sore bum
37km of cycling.
Had a great day. Thanks to efforts of the hiders.
Sorry for all the copy and past logs.
Cheers

I’ve been wanting to do these “Thomas” themed caches for over a year now so I decided today would be the day! Such an incredible little cache within this beautiful Bushland. TFTC forbiddenground!
Lunch over and off again down the line! Found the coal car and signed the book. Log has about ten more signs left in it btw. Tftc
