Thursday 17 August 2017 - a very warm glorious sunny Winter's morning in the high teens setting out from Southport at 6.30am as MuggleDaughter works in Coolingatta. Found 7 from 7 caches starting firstly with a trad in Coolly and then found the other 6 in Tweed Heads area.
As per recent log comments the lid is in place but the log and base is missing. Took a little while to find but got there in the end. TFTC King-fisher8.

While in the area today I checked and found that there was this green box sitting here by the riverside. That had to be changed and so I came for a good look to see what I could find. It wasn't long before I was signing the log. This is a lovely location and I could imagine many fishermen, fisherwomen, and fisherchildren, could be along here on the weekend, but luckily for me today is a Monday. No problem today. Thanks for the cache king-fisher8
Came by with the family on a quick local hunt. Good find. Plenty of muggles fishing close by. TFTC!
Took a few minutes to locate and felt a bit awkward standing and looking here but in the long run, no problems. TFTC
Actually found it Aug 9th but no premium membership then. A very original hide type!:-)
My second visit to this cache. But this time after a short search the cache was in hand. A tricky hide & a tricky extraction
I was heading back north again this afternoon and decided its past time to check out one of the caches by the river that I have eyed off on the map for some time now. Once i avidly found my way to the river from the freeway, i ended up following it till the road ran out. Wow.. i cant believe how massive the river looks from here!
I decided it was time to see if there was a cache nearby and this was the closest. I circled a couple of times untill i found the hide in a process of elimination.
Well, I definately found the cache. The lid was where it is meant to be, the unattached container was right beside it, but no log anywhere to be seen. I hope the CO doesn't mind that I added a scrap of a paper as a temporary log untill it can be replaced. I then put everything back together as it should have been.
Thanks so much for placing this cache here, as it was a great reward for finally take a squizz from below, the river i drive over so often

A lovely sunny day to visit Kingscliff, Tweed Heads and Coolangatta and wind our way back to Brissy We solved 5 puzzles for this jaunt and four of those were logged today.
This was a surprisingly easy find for me as Ruzzelz poked around closer to the river Oh well, if you're going to phaff about over there having a boy look, I'll retrieve the sneaky hide and put our names in the logbook.
TFTC king-fisher8!

Cleverly hidden, glad we had some friends to show us the way on our first caching day.
This was a great tree to hide things in - so many possible hiding spots. However it didn't take too long to spot the clever hide. This was a lovely spot to visit this afternoon, very peaceful with the sun going down.

Beautiful autumn afternoon by the river. Should have brought drinks and nibblies. Log a bit damp and torn. TFTC
TFTC kingfisher 8. Perfect sunny Autumn afternoon for a walk with GeoGirlfriend
Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot.
Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot.
GeoUncle, GeoSister and I were wary when walking over to this one due to the D/T rating.
We followed the hint and despite the warning of a tricky hide I had it found and in my hands in well under 2 minutes!
Woohoo! TFTC!

As I approached GZ there was activity very close to GZ. Luckily for me the muggles all got in to a car and drove off. Not a soul to be seen after that.
A short hunt around GZ soon revealed the prize.

After not being able to find this gem a few days ago due to itchy caterpillars it was a welcome find
Geo hubby spotted this sneaky cache
Cache all good

A very pleasant spot right on the banks of the river. We circumnavigated GZ and Mr. Herbz spotted something and thought ah ha! Gave it a gentle tug and the cache was in his hand. TFTC.
We are having a couple of night at Boyd's Bay caravan park before heading home.
This was an area we had not been to before so it was a very nice scenic drive, geocaching as we went.
Visited some great locations & found some interesting caches.

Council workers had just pulled up and were beginning to whipper snip as I approached so I continued to the end of the road for the last one first.
Thankfully they had moved down a little by the time I got back so I had the retreat to myself. Quite a nice little spot this one so it was at all a chore signing in once I spotted the sneaky hide.
Thanx again KF

My daughter found this very quickly and was very excited as I told her it may take a while so she is feeling quite proud... The time of the day really helped.

On our way back to Coolangatta after lunch at Kingscliffe with OrionJ we decided to see if we could find a few caches. This was the first one we looked for in this area. It is good to see some are more challenging as it is more likely to be the ones we choose to look for. This area here is so nice to spend time in. I think I am finally getting the hang of what sort of things to look for as this one did not take me as long as it may have done a year ago. We added our names to the log and rehid the cache. TFTC
Stopped by to take a look with LHE Duo, not being quite sure what we may be looking for, I started checking a couple of spots. Soon Mrs LHE duo pointed out a particular feature she had seen, and a little look turned up the cache. Nice one, soon had the names added to the log and soon on the way to the next.

Geo Wife & I were heading down to Gold Coast Airport, to pick up some international visitors, so we made sure we left earlier to grab a few caches.
We knew we had to get to the airport but we were driving straight past this one so we just had to stop.
We gave it a good search but couldn't track it down and really didn't want to leave without a smilie so we did a PAF and got some basic info.
Even with that info we almost still couldn't find it but then Geo Wife spotted something slightly out of place and sure enough she uncovered the prize!!!
NICE HIDE KF TFTC SL This one definitely deserves a favourite point for the view and the hide!!

After a long walk this morning I headed over to this one because it is close to home.
This one took a little bit of searching before spotting a little something that should not be there.
Rehid so that even that is not showing.
Thanks for the cache.

Found it, bit tricky hahaha yeah don't fall in and be careful not to drop it in the water!
TFTC Found it within 10sec, luckily for me it was hanging out of its hide. I tucked it back in its hide.
Stumbled upon this one. Lucky the geowife had good eyes is all I can say.
I managed to find the dead bird!!
Beautiful location for a cache.

Not as hard as we thought it was going to be, so happy that it didn't keep us stuck for too long ) TFTC SL
Clever little cache. Had a couple of hours to spare so picked a few caches at random to see the sights. Nice spot for a hide. tftc
Nice spot for a cache. Had a little look around and found the cache fairly easily. Thanks for the hide.
We ducked out late in the afternoon between summer storms for some caching and to cast some lures in nearby Terranora Inlet. This one had us beat for a while but eventually geoson eliminated all other possibilities and the cache was in hand. Thanks for the challenge king-fisher8.
