27-Feb-18
When I pulled up nearby a mutt over the road started barking and he kept it up for the 10 minutes that I was in the area, I was waiting for someone to come out and say something to it but no one did.

I strolled around looking for a hide near GZ but nothing stood out so i looked around and spotted another regular hiding spot and soon spotted the cache.

Today my target was my 6,000th cache and I had been working on a D5 in preperation for the milestone. I needed 2 more finds before the milstone and then once I had done the milestone cache, I headed up to Mount Tamborine for another visit. I still have a few to do up there, so I hope to get back up there before I head home next week.

First one off the ranks today, lots of mozzies here, but thankfully no one in the playground so had the place to myself to search.

Thanks flagmarshall39 for the placement of this cache[^]Big Grin

We were on our way home from WetnWild with some daylight left to find a few caches. my diversion for the muggles was changing my babies nappy on the clean grass nice little park

23-Dec-15
Please do check the log if you doubt me, but I have discovered some caches I've forgotten to log and this is one of them. My sincere apologies for logging so late, - that is not like me at all. I can only guess that finding this two days before Christmas and then with Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and going away camping on Boxing Day it somehow got overlooked. I don't know why I couldn't have logged it in my spare time, lol. Zooming in on satellite view I can remember this cache though and remember we did some CITO while we were here and felt good about it. Thanks flagmarshall39 and MrsFlag for this cache and for bringing us to this nice little park. Cheers and happy caching......[^][^]

No muggles or dogs to contend with today. A fairly easy find and love the story in the description! TFTC.

23-Nov-15
Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 53.754 E 153° 16.993

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 53.771 E 153° 16.978

Distance from original: 131 feet or 39.9 meters.
After having been muggled by, well, muggles, then dug up and mauled by the neighbours dog, it was time to move this cache.
In my descriptions, pretty much every comment is somehow a clue however having to shift this spot has driven me up the wall, I must have rocks in my head to persist since its been seen and destroyed so much. PLEASE exercise extreme STEALTH when looking for this cache.

New coordinates are S 27 53.771, E 153 16.978. Happy hunting.

What a fabulous background story.

I'm not sure what happened here but I couldn't find this one today. Cache blindness? I did annoy a little fluffy dog for quite a while though.

16-May-15
Parked nearby, and we all walked towards GZ, then suddenly I saw something! Off I raced! Sad Nope nothing here! I turned around and saw that king-fisher8 had raced off when I did and had found it. Looks like I was too quick off the gun. TFTC! - Very in the open hiding spot ... not sure how long it will last / how it has lasted so long! Maybe we didn't find it in it's original position?

An opportunity to complete a D/T challenge in the Coomera area with RoddyC, Team Benders, King-fisher8, Jackxena62 and Sezzz.

After the rigors of Dead Reckoning's Treasure, this cache was a bit of a relief. Park, walk, grab.

30-Apr-15
I didn't have a lot of time to spare this afternoon so needed one not far from home. Having just moved here temporarily I have lots of caches around to fit that criteria Smile. The terrain rating was what made me choose this one. I had no trouble seeing it as I approached and when I went to retrieve it I realised it was actually sticking out a bit. Signed the log and made sure I replaced it nice and snugly.

Love the backstory Smile
