Today I found myself heading down the coast to attend an event in the company of the full compliment of JezNDez. Tried to find some unloved caches on the drive down without much luck.
Made my way up to the cache hiding location and all that was remaining was the rusty ring of a bison tube. A search of the ground failed to find the actual container.

Found this one after a few false-starts due to a cache guardian! Thanks to Aimee97 for the assist TFTC
Thanks for the cache. Luckily it was muggle-free when I was at GZ! Container and log in good condition.

I’ve been here once before a little while back with EatAllThePie & failed to find it... Well, after spending a bit more time and patience here, I did it!
Definitely not very easy for the short statured, but after a bit of effort it was signed and replaced. TFTC!

We've been here previously and dnf but tonight it was easy. Last time tennis muggles prevented us from spending much time here however this cache definitely wasn't in that spot last time we looked. Easy find and quick grab at 10:30 at night. Brought a torch but didn't need it. TFTC.
I was out with Selva Girls for the day, and hearing that this one had recently replaced, she kindly stopped so I could make a find here. A bit of channeling my inner monkey and the container was soon in hand. Tftc monkey maker
Definately need to come here when it is quiet!thank you comments, would have not found it without you a great hihe
I had searcched for this cache previously, but it was missing. I messaged the CO with an offer to replace the cache for him, but he took a long time to get back to me. Yesterday, he finally responded that he was happy for me to replace the container. I already had plans to head south today, so that fitted in nicely with my plans. I parked the geomobile and headed to GZ with DoraTheExplorer! I entered both our names in the replacement cache and Dora placed it in the same spot as the old one. TFTC
I had my son with me for this one, saved me some effort. Even tho I probably should of done it myself due to him getting his wrist out of a cast a few hours before.............

Had been to the park before with my boys when I had my car at the mechanics and we ended up at this park. Of course I was deliberately heading to this park as I saw that there was a cache there and with assistance found where the cache was hiding on that day but had no pen. Fast forward to today and looking to reach my next milestone of 700 finds, I came here to this time, sign the log. TFTC, signed, returned and now wanting others to come and find it.
Oh this was so much fun as geokid had his arm in plaster so it was up to me to retrieve the cache.
Returning it was a bit trickier;
climbed - dropped, climbed-re roll
Climbed-returned at last

Tftc, geo son and I went straight to it.. daughter headed off towards wrong direction, but she did the hard part in the end. :^). Nice hide.
Gps had me going in circles, when I should have looked at the most logical location first! I thought the retrieval would be easier sans-footwear - big mistake! An interesting spot for a cache, thanks for making me go out of my comfort zone a bit!
Out and about early today to test out my new 'tool of trade' and on arrival at the park I had to wait for a few muggle walkers to disappear before I could get to GZ without looking conspicuous for the cache retrieval. Thanks monkey maker for the good cache placement and TFTC
Quickly found but retrieving was a whole different issue. With perseverance and monkey- like ability the log was removed and signed before departing and hoping the group having a Xmas morning tea in the park couldn't see us through the bushes!!! Thanks monkey maker.
Oh dear Monkey Maker!! This was tough. The agility needed was reached o.k. but trying to hang in there while retrieving the log and then trying to get it to screw back together when replacing was a whole other matter. It took a number of attempts to manage to get it the way it needed to be and by then my arms felt a bit shakey. You have to laugh at what you do for a smilie . There were people in the gazebo but from GZ we couldn't see them so hoped they didn't see us. Thank goodness I don't have to do this one again, lol. Merry Christmas!!
On the way to the Gold Coast with OrionJ for a couple of days when we stopped to get this one. We had stopped here previously but there always seemed to be people about. There was a bit of a problem with ripped shorts but otherwise not hard to find and soon logged and back in place. TFTC monkey maker
Silly hubby came for his second look.. He went for the trees... I knew better.. Haven't climbed like that since I was a small kid TFTC monkey maker
Visiting friends nearby we stopped to grab this quick one. Nice hide indeed. Glad jvf was with me to retrieve it. TFTC
Awesome awesome cache So thankful I had a little geomonkey with me though! TFTC this was fun!
I'm visiting friends while up here from Canberra - thought I'd try my hand at GCing - found 2 yesterday but not this one. I didn't even see it. There were a couple of young men playing tennis nearby - one came and asked what I was doing. I mentioned geocaching and he knew - even helped me look. Even if I had seen it, it is doubtful I would have been able to sign it. I'm 72 yo with some knee issues and from what I read in other logs it seemed to imply climbing. I've climbed many but none since I turned 71. Thanks for you efforts in placing this cache.
I have been on the Gold Coast for a few days now however havent had the time to head out Geocaching. Today I told my family I was going no matter what lol.
I searched around for a little while and when I couldnt spot anything, I read a couple logs. Ahhhh ok so I need to look there But can I get it is the next question. Caching on my own today I didnt wanna do anything too risky, but hey I need that smiley right I was soon in position, had cache in hand and returned to the terra ferma to do the signing. Returned it just as quickly as I got it.
Thanks monkey maker for the placement of this cache, working my way towards 6,000 [^]

Aargghh... nice one !!! After looking where I thought it would be, I tried a different angle of thought and lo-and-behold !!! It's a complete shame that this hasn't earned a fav point... as it certainly deserves it I think... so I've given you one for the effort I had to put in. TFTC !!!
Caching Wednesday with Team Benders. When wwe arrived, there was a muggle fitness group spread out in the Rotunda, and a water truck filling up. Truck soon left, so we made our way over to find GZ.
It took a while before I spotted the cache, then I had to use monkey skills to retrieve it. While I was hanging around waiting for the log book to be signed, another car pulled up and the driver got out and looked up at me, scratched his head, got back into the car and drove off!!!
Found at 8.30am on 14th October 2015. TFTC.

Out today with RoddyC visiting caches in the area.
Parked nearby and wandered in.
There was a personal fitness instructor giving two victims going through their paces.
They packed up and left.
RoddyC was able to retrieve.
Signed the log book and cache was put back in its hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks monkey maker All good with this cache

Ahhh yes, just like Crew153, I remember coming to somewhere in this general area before.
As I arrived there was a family in the park, but was not worried as I could fill in a little time nearby. Back in the park and another lot had showed up. Anyway I wandered up and around a little, and when I thought I was in the right spot and still having 10m to go realised exactly where it would be.
I was surprised when I turned around and went to walk back into the park to find it empty, I was not letting this chance go, and soon had the log in hand. My name added, and soon all replaced.

First find for the day out with Stupert... despite the weather and the call of nature this was a relatively quick find with Stupert holding all my accessories... tftc...
Found at 2.55pm FINALLY. Twice we arrived got 5 metres from GZ and someone would pull up, 3rd time people already there and this time NO ONE HERE. looked for little bit then a lid skated past but no car he left so we looked again and found the cache. A bit of stretching the limbs and got the usual monkey style cache.
TFTC MM for the cache.

The cache name sounded familiar and when I pulled up I remembered the last cache that was placed here was called Tennis at Peachey.
I headed to the search area which was only about 40m from the location of the previous cache and noticed that there was a muggle shooting hoops over the other side so I started searching and after a while I spotted the cache. The problem was to retrieve it without attracting the attention of the muggle.
I headed back to the car and retrieved my special apparatus and returned and assembled it without the muggle giving me a glance.
It then didn't take long to sign the log and dismantle the apparatus.
I felt quite pleased with myself. TFTC.

We were out today to show a young newbie our fabulous game and this one was a great example of the variation of hides.
Geo Wife and I had visited a little while ago but there were people on the court so we left it for another day even though I had spotted the hide!!
We parked the car and Geo Wife gave Geo Girl and friend her phone, they were off out of the car like Jack Rabbits!!!!
I was only half way there when Geo Girl sang out "Got It", boy she's quick!!!
The caliber of this one fits with your other sneaky hides MM, definitely one to be done with no muggles around!

I had a few hours to spare this morning and was eager to grab a few of the new caches in my area. This cache was my last for the day and I was eager to check it out as it is at the site of the first cache I ever found - 'Tennis on Peachey' which was deactivated and archived a number of months ago. I thought it only a matter of time before a new cache was to appear here.
I arrived at the GZ and thankfully there were no muggles in the immediate vicinity. I searched around for about ten minutes before realising that I needed to 'check out a new perspective'. I soon spotted something that looked a little out of ordinary...the cache! A quick bit of agility demonstrated and I soon had the container in hand and the log signed. TFTC!

Dr - "....so how did you hurt yourself?"
Me - "Well...there was this really tempting cache just out of reach..."

It had been raining most of the last 2 days and Geo Wife & I were itching to get out of the house, to play our favourite game, so when the weather eased we headed north to grab these new ones!!
As we approached GZ we saw 2 players on the court so I hung back while Geo Wife chatted and tried to look at the same time.
Luckily as I approached I spotted our prize immediately and knew there was no way we were going to get it today unless they left!!
We did revisit a little later but they were still there so headed on up the road!!
We will return with our own little monkey!!!

teamdfl and I had a hike in Springbrook National Park planned for today, but the rain put paid to that Plan B was to find some caches somewhere, but as usual we had difficulty finding an area that we could both gain some numbers Looks like it's a road trip to the Gold Coast again
A fun hide here We searched a few wrong spots at first, not quite believing the GPS Once we actually followed it, teamdfl quickly spotted the container. I had fun fetching it [^] TFTC, monkey maker.

Out on a silly Saturday with IolantheK. Plan A had been a walk at Springbrook, but that was ditched due to the rain. Plan B was simply to go find some caches.
I had missed this one yesterday. There were muggles in the park. The rain today was most helpful in keeping the muggles away.
We had a quick hunt around GZ before I spotted the cache. IolantheK did the fetching and I did the signing at this one.

Out and about on my way to work today looking for my daily cache.
Another monkey maker cache ( with a back up down the road ) close to the highway was today's target cache.
After a bit of looking here and there, then over that way and under there I finally just stood back and thought, 'where would MM hide a nasty cache?'. Then I looked straight at it.
Good thing no one is around. Retrieved the log, signed and when replacing the log a car with 2 teenagers pulled up. I can't exactly hide what I am doing, so finished up and calmed walked away while they started a bit of basketball.
Thanks for the cache.

cache find #2185. We are out and about with Cantcacheus2014. After finding some ftf's some klms away, we decided to locate this cache on the way home. It took some time for the GPs to settle. The phones were all giving different readings. As it was dark, we depended on illumination to help find the cache. We were looking in all the wrong places. Ccu found the cache after changing direction and looking from a different angle. TFTC.
Out today with our good friends GT54 and came across this cache. A nice quick find once we knew where to look and we were on our way to the next. Mozzies got me tonight, however the night did help a little in the hunt. As our geo daughter would say "You cheeky little monkey" Tftc

The GPSr had us looking all over and after 40mins and an uncomfortable ant bite we decided to head down the road for some ice cream and then attempt it again.
On our second attempt and with a little bit of devine guidance, we spotted something that we had over looked the first time here.
Thanks for placing the 798th cache that we have found so far monkey maker!
