Checked the area today. Council has revamped the area and cache has gone missing as a result. Time to archive this one
Did not find after a long hunt and a hint from a lovely previous finder. This cache needs attention as 5 previous DNF logs
I think this one might be missing. There seems to have been recent garden maintenance done which may have lead to the end for the existing container.
Another DNF for us this morning whilst out at this lovely park doing the Adventure Lab.
I hate to do a dnf but after searching and searching and searching I've put my fingers in many holes and have found Nothing Even whilst doing this log im still searching just in case. .. I don't feel like I'm going to win this one..
thank you for the placement although maybe if you wouldn't mind maybe double-checking its still here and happy, as I hate a DNF

Out with Michelle to get our feet back into the Caching event pool! Thank you for a fantastic placement.
A call was put in to Snips and Co and we devised a plan to head to Edwardes Park Lake for the CITO and Cache of the Year nomination events. So we headed here early knowing there was an Ad Lab to do, and a handful of caches to find on the way around the lake.
Snips and Co yelped (quietly) when she found this one. She said it was about time (I had found the previous 3). But as they say “teamwork makes the dreamwork”!! I had, of course, overlooked the spot and when I asked S&Co how she spotted the cache, she said “you said 80degrees’ coords are accurate”.
Thanks for the placement, the accurate coords and the maintenance for our enjoyment **80degrees**. Cache on ??
**The Cache:** TNLN, signed log as LTEC or Let Them Eat Cache as space would allow. Replaced as found and good to go for the next geocacher.
JupiterPearl and I ventured out for our big trip north of the city.
We were enticed by the CITO, caching awards ceremony, the plethora of newly published caches and the promise of sunny weather good enough for a picnic BBQ.
In the break between the CITO and awards ceremony, we set off to find the traditional caches in this park. Spiffy- joined us and I am not sure if it was more amusing or frustrating for him to watch us try find this cache as he had previously found it and we were taking a little while to fine tune our observation skills.
thanks for the fun with the discreet placement.

Found with crank1 during CITO. 80degrees, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Sneaky hide but made easy being in a group.
Thanks to 80degrees for the fun and the adventure.
Thanks to 80degrees for the fun and the adventure.
After the events in the park today, Crusty K9, Pilot, and I did a lap of the lake to log the adventure lab and a couple of trads. It's a very pleasant walk, and very popular with the locals.
We had rest for a while to await a gap in the muggle traffic at this location, but then the log was quickly signed and rehidden.
Thanks 80degrees.

A mild nudge from a previous finder, helped with a quick find here. I can see how we could have easily missed this. Very nice walk around this lake !
Thank you 80degrees, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.

On our last visit here the storm had just destroyed most of the trees in this general vicinity and the cache went with it and was unfindable at that time. Today, nice to find the previous DNF. Our 16th cache find in this park, with the first way back in 2005. Thanks from D & HA B-A
We were at two events nearby, so we decided to do these caches. The geogal made a quick find, although adults struggle. Great hide. Thanks for the cache.
With spiffy and Kristyadventures doing the round of the lake here after the CITO. Thankfully the weather held as many turned out today.
Thanks 80degrees for the hide that Kristyadventures found before me as Spiffy watched on enjoying our blundering as he had found this one already.

This is the cache I found and signed the log of 80degrees. Thank you for putting it there.??
One of the caches found throughout the day.
It was a bit of a group effort here. Others joined in whilst we were searching, and the cache was soon discovered.
Thanks for the caches 80degrees.

Thanks for the caches 80degrees.
Award nomination and CITO event day had arrived and I messaged Fleabag to see what he was doing to get here and he said he was leaving early so I headed off by myself and found a few caches on the way. After the event we made our way via quite a few caches back towards home and ended up finishing about 5pm.
This one I DNFed the last time I was here and it was on the other side of the track. Today, no problems, found it pretty quickly.
Thanks 80degrees for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

This one was for me. LTEC had been on a roll this morning and had spotted all the caches. Then we came to this one. We needed to be a bit sly about our searching as the path was busy with people, even though it was no degrees and raining! We searched quite a bit with no luck, then LTEC says "80degrees' coords are very accurate". So I stand there, wait for my GPS to settle and bingo! Exactly where you said it would be, fancy that! Thanks 80degrees!
I had come to [Edwardes Lake Park](https://www.darebin.vic.gov.au/events-and-facilities/parks-and-playgrounds-directory/edwardes-lake-park) today in order to attend [GeocachingVictoria's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=5381f41f-c082-4a07-a4e5-9610ef6949fe&wid=88cb1d30-3b86-4f74-88c0-1d821fecee2a&ds=2) [Edwardes Lake Park CITO (GCA69WH)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WH_edwardes-lake-park-cito) event and the [2022 Cache of the Year Award Nominations & BBQ (GCA69WK)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WK) event.
However, with the [CITO (GCA69WH)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WH_edwardes-lake-park-cito) ending at 12:30, and the [BBQ (GCA69WK)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WK) not starting until 1:00, I had a bit of time to kill.
So what should a cacher do with a bit of time to kill.....
Cache of course! I decided I would try and work on the nearby AdLab and find a few caches along the way.
Well I ran into [AlphaDeltaIndigo](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=0ba730b9-9e40-49fd-8cda-13d33706860b) at the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=def24f7d-b860-469f-9924-b920c15bf5b7&wid=be9d3fee-01c5-4fdb-a77c-200fae96bb57&ds=2) [An A2 Engine (GC2FY36)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2FY36) and we decided to team up for that cache and the rest of the ones around the lake.
Well we got almost all the caches around the lake the break between the [CITO (GCA69WH)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WH_edwardes-lake-park-cito) and the [BBQ (GCA69WK)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA69WK) event, but just ran out of time.
So we broke for lunch. Got to hear about all the great new nominees for the Cache Of The Year Awards (COTYA) and then it was back out to find this one. We teamed up again with [CeeJayDenno](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=6aec6fa8-399b-441e-ad92-eb35c594ac7c) and [PrezDough](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=004d17d9-6e9f-4879-9b3c-9aaf67270dab) and with the four us we were able to spread out and search. It was [AlphaDeltaIndigo](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=0ba730b9-9e40-49fd-8cda-13d33706860b), who eventually came up with the find.
A big thanks goes to [80degrees](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=def24f7d-b860-469f-9924-b920c15bf5b7&wid=be9d3fee-01c5-4fdb-a77c-200fae96bb57&ds=2) for the great series today. It was so much fun to cache around the lake today. TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in good shape and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

While being at the Cito event who wouldn’t do a bit of caching. Kill two birds with one stone. Found this with a group of caching friends and my bestie by my side Blazer Triaz. Cache located and signed and back to collecting some more rubbish
Last cache for the day before we can retreat back to the warmth of the car. Another find by the geokids while I grab the last answer for the Adventure Lab.
A beautiful place to visit - Edwardes Park Lake, I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often, there really is every thing here.
Thank you 80degrees for giving us a great excuse to walk around the lake on such a miserable day.

We we’re right on top of it, but didn’t find until other friends came and spotted the hide! Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find.
PrezDough and I struggled to find this one.
We searched just about everywhere.
So we decided to attend the nearby event as we were now late.
A slight bit of intel soon was drip fed to us and following on from the event we headed back with ADI and horrorfan and the cheeky container was soon discovered (by ADI).
Well this was our hardest so far and whilst not difficult, we certainly didn’t have our caching eyes on the first time.
I visited 3 TB.

Found with CJDenno. We also found this with ADI and horrorfan. We were walking to the next adventure lab location and noticed that this traditional was on the way to the next location so it was convenient. We were able to find this rather quickly despite me and CJDenno struggled finding the cache prior to this.

This was the fourth of this series we found during a walk around the park. Hidden in an unassuming manner, but exactly where our electronic finding devices indicated it would be. A quick find towards the end of a tiring fun but tiring walk around the Lake is always welcome.
Located after CITO and Cache of the Year event while enjoying a pleasant stroll around the lake with Surefoot24 and Cathlud. TFTC
Bunadoorian and I were in the area to check out the Shelter and BBQ area for this weekends 2022 Cache Of The Year Awards nomination event. While here I came to pick up this cache. Cache was found in good condition. TFTC and for bringing me here 80degrees.
Thanks to the sit down hints, we eventually found it. Another young geocacher near us also looking and will hopefully find it later. Also had dad chat to a man about geocaching and what it’s about. Great little community find.
Not my proudest DNF as I'm sure it was staring right at us. Felt a bit light-headed from going up and down and just decided to call it quits after about 20 minutes.
After a find before at the start, we did finish the day with a yellow smiley.

Heading to the CITO event at Coburg, I thought I would leave early and collect a few geocaches. However 6 am clearly was not early enough as it still took me 2 hours to get here. Only got 2 geocaches before the event, not as many as I wanted. However 1 was an DT in an Earthcache that I needed.
Buzzing from the delicious coffee at the first event, I drove here and quickly worked out some Way Points for the Multicaches here. Then it was time for the CITO. Amazing what can be achieved my a number of geocaches in just 1 hour while all having a great chat.
After the event I came to this area, which is in a LGA that I need more geocaches in for a challenge.
Was looking too low for this after heading the hint. Should have looked first before reading it.
Thanks for the cache 80 Degrees

Had gone here several times without success, and once mistakenly found a beer bottle thinking it was the cache . After quite a bit of guidance from Auzzie_Taz, I eventually found it after sitting down and taking a break.
Thanks for the cache !
Thanks for the cache !
Nice and quick. The grass was mowed recent so the native rats and birds are all over the place! I had to politely wait got the animals to move along
Away for the weekend with friends and decided to walk the lake, thanks goodness geo hubby was with me or I would never have found this one, thanks for placing this cache
In the area for a bit so we decided to turn some frowns upside down. But hot so we only grabbed one.
Last physical cache of the day today. I had to wait for a few people to wander past before I was able to look for the cache. It wasn't as low as I was expecting, but nicely hidden. I did manage to miss it on my first, but admittedly cursory, pass. A more thorough look revealed the hiding spot. TFTC 80degrees

It's date day again, and we're doing something a little different today. We're trying to hit up caches in a range of different Local Government Areas.
I suggested the lake because neither of us had made a find in the City of Darebin. Once we were here, we pulled out the bikes and did the lap of the lake... and the Ad Lab.
Thanks heaps for the cache, 80 Degrees!

Coords spot on today for me. The walkers were pacing it out while I signed the log. Photo from down the path. TFTC
Great hiding spot. Took a little time to find. Another visitor had posted a photo which really helped

The view was just starting to be coated in misty rain. We not only found the cache, neatly hidden, then we were introduced to a delightful black dog and his owner, who was quite intrigued with the idea of geocaching. He told us about his ideas for the development of the park area -- interesting!
Thanks to 80degrees for aninteresting lake circuit.

Found this nicely during a great walk around Edwards Lake - nice day to head out and find more caches.
Once at ground zero, I saw some likely hideyholes, and armed with the hint I felt certain of a quick find. After my hunt I began to question the co ords but deciding to trust them I took a different tack. Soon found the cache, but wondered if it has moved from its original hide or if the hint is more hindrance than help? It turns out you needn't disturb the wasps in their homes after all. Thanks for the cache!
Found. Was out in open so placed where we think it should have gone. May need checking. Tftc
Well, I interrupted an ant nest. Oops. After I shook her off, got the log signed and placed everything back where it was, I left them too it! Thanks for placing the cache 80degrees.
In Reservoir to play bowls today. I came early to do the Edwards Lake series and the Adventure lab at the same time. Great little series and lovely area. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 15:20. Needs a new log sheet in your spare time. So many people out enjoying the paths. Multiple dogs and pushers too, with toddlers. Log a little damp but ok. Our thanks to 80degrees.
Attempted this a while back with no luck. Back here again doing the adventure lab so had to give it another go. This time perseverance paid off and I've got that smiley.
Cache desperately needs a new log.

In spite of the hot weather, there were some pedestrians taking a leisurely stroll down the path and I had to wait for them to pass.
Once they were past, the log was soon signed.

Found not as low as the hint suggests but a in a good spot. Thank you 80degrees for placing and maintaining Edwardes Park Lake - Angling History for us to find today. We enjoyed the walk around this lake in the middle of suburbia.

It was too nice a day to stay indoors so I loaded up the geohound and the geoson and came over here. A quick lap and a couple of caches killed an hour or so. TFTC.
Took ages to find as I was interpreting the hint wrong. But soon saw something suspicious that turned out to be the cache. TFTC!

After recent storms lots of trees down means impossible to retrieve cache till council clears the area. Will disable till then
I thought that I would have a look at this one, even though it looked like there may be a problem. Yep, there is no coming back for this cache with all but one of the row of trees along the lakeside completely blown over. I did head in and started to poke around a bit just in case I was lucky but I soon realised the futility in this
Unfortunately huge trees have fallen over in the recent winds and the area is currently inaccessible
Out exercising on a lovely spring day...second time round for this cache...spent ages looking for it last time. Found it easily this time. TFTC
Out geocaching with Haggaroo and friends.Spotted the geocache hiding place very quickly. Cool idea for a cache container!
Yep.. looked around for a bit. Nearly gave up. But agree with other comments, don't overthink it!!
