Logs
Seems like, based on previous logs, we know where it should be but it ain't...oh well I guess we'll come back later
A geocaching day with 3 GC events to attend. On way to the first event at Rouse Hill, lets see if I can convert my bluey to a yellow smiley? Gotcha in just a few seconds. And Im pretty sure I checked that out twice last time. Thanks dkmacca for maintaining and giving this cache for everyone to enjoy.
There was a guy standing on the bridge, and eventually I got tired of waiting for him to leave but he didn't seem to pay me any attention. I had a reasonable look on both sides and at various altitudes, but nothing grabbed my attention - sigh I'll be back!
So does "All fixed up and ready for another find" mean that the cache has been replaced, and that it wasn't there for our DNF visit on 18th August ?
Suspect that may have been washed away as the flood debris is all the way up to the deck
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Planning on exploring the suburbs of Lalor Park, Kings Park, Marayong, Glenwood, The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Scheyville, Agnes Banks, Yarramundi, Hawkesbury Heights, and Castlereagh. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some more Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some more "units of fuel" for the "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge with a view to scoring the 100 point Ultra fuel souvenir. Our final day will have us going via Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside, for some more caching and a visit to the Nurragingy Miniature Railway, before taking the M7 & M2 Motorways back to home. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 3) we started the day with a ladder climb cache at Rouse Hill and then headed over to Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside for a visit to the Nurragingy Miniature Railway, followed by a nearby five stage Adventure Lab and associated AL Bonus cache, then a circuit walk around the northern end of Nurragingy Reserve between Richmond Road and the M7 Motorway. Ended our day with a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache and a Traditional cache in Melrose Park at Quakers Hill, before hopping onto the M7 Motorway and heading homeward. A total of 20 finds for the day (day 3), and 56 finds for the holiday. This one was next, on our circuit walk (clockwise) around the northern end of Nurragingy Reserve, but try as we might we were unable to spot the cache. Couldn't afford to waste too much time on it, so gave it away after about half an hour of searching, and surrendering to a disappointing DNF. TFTH anyway dkmacca.
After fifteen finds today, something had to give way! And yes, a bluey DNF here. As others have commented, it can take more than one visit to says Gotcha! Another time
After much looking with Brittany we reluctantly have to log a dnf and come back another day
TFTCTook a little while but come up the good. Always good when you pull out a log and the only other people to have signed it are family
Couldnt find this one! Looks like the water level has been up again, not sure if this affected it
Too good for me today but I feel like we left spots uninspected. Just in a time crunch.
I'm currently living outside this LGA and can't maintain these Caches while in lockdown. I will enable once I can get back into the area for maintenance.
Cheers

Sandysa made the find while I was off in another spot, pulling and twisting at everything, as I'd learned to do with dkmaccas caches. Turned out to be another clever and sneaky hide, but not where I was looking. TFTC!
Late Log, sorry dkmacca. We did go back after the CITO and using your intel found the cache but forgot to log. Thank you for your help. Love your hides even if they do give my brain a work out lol
This was a tough one but after looking through all the previous logs we made the find! TFTC!
Wow that was tricky. About to give up as I had already pulled at the cache beforehand but then moved on. Got Miltsy92 to double check later on and there it was. TFTC
TFTC. Approaching GZ we had a good idea what kind of hide this would be. After some searching & looking at previous logs we found the cache. Had to use a natural TOTT to extract the log. OCW MF428 and the geokid lookoutlexiisabout. Geodog Atlas was not with us today.
Great day of caching near the Hawkesbury River. Started in Ebenezer with the AL, unfortunately very unsuccessful as the location service on my phone was struggling and could not fix on the wp's I needed. Luckily I also made a good plan for other caches so the day turned out productive. Weather was really good, about 20 with a little breeze and nice and sunny. After finishing up in Windsor I had time left and went for a bike ride in this nice reserve! Nice technique

Found with Camicles on 3/08/20 - I just got premium so I'm logging past finds. TFTC!
A quick find OCW Brewmaker and Zelda. We met dkmacca the CO, who came for a walk with us. TFTC dkmacca
OCW EverestHigh and Zelda the geodog to grab a few Ancient and Modern Wonders of the World.
Another sneaky one. With natural TOTT we got it out and access to the log. TFTC

Hey guys Rebelation here, another unsuccessful cache logged, we believe this cache has been misplaced, we venture onwards!
Saw something straight up that looked out of place, right size for a cache but nothing there, will have to try another day!
I need to assess any damage to this cache due to the recent flooding.

This one had me running around everywhere. But after reading some logs from previous finders, I had to change my way of thinking. I just had to look for that moment when you go, mmm, that’s a bit different! Very sneaky hide. I wouldn’t have found that without previous logs. TFTC.
Like many we looked round and round to find the one that was different. Not on top and not underneath!! Loving this park lots of tough finds
I knew this one would be hard so I had looked at a lot of past logs and photos and came armed with knowledge and tools ready to make the find. Still took us a long time but we got there in the end- sneaky little hide! Thanks!
After a few minutes of searching, we read some logs which gave us a hint. Then Dan noticed something that was a bit different. Sue's eyes focussed better on it and asked for the pointy nosed pliers to help extract the cache. A good cache another FP. TFTC
Located at 1:20pm. #893.
I made this trickier by not having tweezers on my person; however, perseverance pays in dividends and I was able to wrangle the cache from its nesting place and inscribe my name upon the parchment. Much obliged.
Большое спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

Our ninth find on our family geocache day today!
Found it quickly but almost dismissed it initially. Luckily the geo-brain kicked in quickly this time.

I’ll admit, I considered giving this one a miss today. GZed is two and a half and I was sure I wasn’t going to be able to juggle holding him and keeping him from ending up in the creek and looking for the cache at the same time. I had a read of past logs and found what some hints referred to but dismissed it initially. Another look and with a TOTT I managed to make the find all while GZed sat quietly watching some ants do their thing. TFTC!
Found this afternoon after school. Without mum pointing us in the right direction, this would have been a DNF for sure . TFTC
Searched under and over and finally when standing back saw something poking out. TFTC
One of a number of finds today whilst walking through the park-lands on a nice winters afternoon. I was almost about to give up when I decided to check something I hadn't looked at at first. I soon had the cache in hand.
Replaced as found after signing the log. tftc

Cache nr 3 on this lovely Saturday. It was a bit of a chore to retrieve the log. TFTC

Time is ticking by and I still need 40+ finds before earning the last of the Hidden Creature souvenirs. Was originally planning to do the Richmond Rd trail but spotted this one and figured it would be a great day for a bike ride.
While this hide didn't take me the longest time to find, it was probably the sneakiest of the day. Could have easily missed it. Found some natural tools to help get my hands on the log.

That did take a bit of searching (and mostly, thoroughly, on the wrong side). I (MsS) was composing a DNF log in my mind when i went for one last check. Ahhhhhh. TFTC.
Surprisingly a quick find tftc needed a Tool to get the log out though was not able to sign it
A year and a half ago we DNF'd this one. Now it was time to replace the blue face with a yellow one. Had some problems for the GPSr to lock in a location, and we searched around in a few possible places, before asking ourselves 'What about in one of those?'. And yes, there it was. We should really have found it last time, but that is Geocaching.
It was the first thing we saw, but didn't realise that it might be what we were looking for until we gave up searching for trolls. Great camo... Definitely need a TOTT. Tftc!
We returned after doing a loop of the park but this armed with a GPSr. None of this smartphone business anymore. And sure enough a quick find was made... After literally spending half an hour here before!
