We are staying with friends at Glenn Innis and they needed to come to Armidale to do some shopping. They are kinda geocachers but as they do not own a computer and do the internet every time we come through they gladly come caching with us. Today Ken was in charge of the GPS and was the one to find this nicely hidden cache. SL TFTC

Spent a little bit of time wandering around looking inconspicuous as only a geocacher can, eventually muggle departed and signing duties quickly performed. Now what to do with the rest of the day.

Final day of a three-day road trip from Melbourne to the Gold Coast...today it was Armidale to Broadbeach via Tenterfield...but first I had to find a cache in Armidale to fill in the final 10km band for "The Well Travelled Cacher Challenge: Vic" cache...and for that I chose this cache.

With a reasonably early start for a big day's driving, there was hardly anyone around at the lookout...which meant a free hand to search for a cleverly camouflaged cache. With the log signed and photos taken, it was now time to hit the road.

DNF. It started getting dark and I saw a couple of shady people so I went home after receiving a lovely scrape on my leg and seeing some pretty flowers and fungi.

Went back later with dad and found it!

Tftc, we decided to take the kids down to the bike track, on our way back up there was a fire so we called 000 and watched as they put it out.

I believe this cache has been muggled. That is from someone who has previously retrieved it.

Admiring the view i thought i knew exactly where the cache would be. Headed down, had a look - nope! Hmm, it has to be close by though. I wonder if it could be here? A-ha! [^] Approaching from the other side meant i could remain mostly out of the sight of the loud youths passing the time close by. Cache in good condition. Thanks Edisimpson.

There was a van parked very close to GZ but I was able to search unseen and found the cache in the second place that I looked, and the second time that I looked there!

On the way home from the QLD Mega Event and staying at Armidale. Visited some trackables. TFTC Edisimpson.

I was looking initially in the wrong spot. There was two other people sitting at the lookout but they took no notice to what I was doing. When I found the cache I was out of sight of the muggles and signed the log without being noticed.
I will come back here in the night time when I am here in July and see Armidale by night.

We grabbed the cache, started sign the log when some muggles pulled up. Luckily they were out of view and more interested in the views than us and we could pop it back.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.

Day four and we were off from Tamworth to Armidale. There was a bit of rain about today, and it did modify our journey a bit, but we still had a great time and saw the first of some really creative hides in this region. Last for the day, time to hide from the rain for the night. Thanks.

The cache was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.

We are heading north for the Mega Event at Stanthorpe. We are camping for a couple of nights at Uralla to search for the caches here & at Armidale.
Today we travelled to Armidale to find the local caches.

We couldn't leave Armidale without taking in the view from the Apex Park. While Ian retrieved the cache I collected up all the rubbish that laid around the ground right by the garbage bin! Some people are such grots.

We spent a while admiring the view before venturing on to find cache #2 in the area.
