After finding out spot to park up for the night nearby, we made the short walk to GZ and quickly found the cacheTFTC
After a very leisurely morning we got ourselves ready for the day. We are camped here at the moment so headed out and collected this one before going off on our caching adventures. Lovely spot and a few kayakers on the water.Such a lot of loo paper here - yuck. Was glad the cache was not in amongst that. Husband made the find here TFTC
Unfortunately got spoilt by me reading some previous comments, but it was a good hide x
After spending a quiet night here with some fellow campers, I made my morning cuppa and watched the mist rise off the water. What a beautiful way to start the day. Then it was time to take GeoCleo for here morning walk and find a cache. On our walk to GZ we got to watch some good size fish hanging around a large rock. I guess they were getting their breakfast and fish wasnt on my breakfast menu so they were safe A quick find and back to the van for some porridge with apricots.TFTC chrisamuelKeep smiling
Heading through Sawnsea, so stopped to get some caches.Upon getting to the cache GZ, it was clear the cache was hidden in the rock wall. Yet a bit of searching was required to find the cache.I went to this location for the cache, and discovered it was also an overnight stopover. So needing a place to say, I spent a pleasant night here (with 2 other campers).
Such a pretty spot me beautiful morning to be searching. Looks like someone left their camp gear behind found the cache with no issues. ️
I seem to be having a bird theme with my caching day today, and this cache didn't disappoint as there were lots of swans, egrets and other birds about. I have been here before I was a geocacher, so it was nice to revisit with a find in mind. It was still on the river and there was a keen fisher person out in his boat. Had to go back and get gps as iPhone didn’t like the terrain here, but found the cache in the end. TFTC.
My most northerly stop this morning, thanks for bringing me here - a beautiful spot.
Don't think I've been to this location although certainly played a fair bit around it's lower reaches nearer it's mouth.
It's a weather-perfect Autumn day here on the East Coast.
There are so many spots to visit that require turning off the road, but I never have, despite driving by many times over the years, - but always going somewhere else. So, making amends and today I'm just "going caching", and I will stop, and turn-off wherever I want!
Thanks chrisamuel, for the cache and the adventure. A Fav
Cheers, EPs.

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to chrisamuel for the generation of this nice cache Swan walk (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Lovely spot for free camping, pity people are such pigs and leave their used toilet paper and tissues scattered everywhere thru the bush. Almost gave up on this as the compass was struggling with all the rocks everywhere but as often happens, at the last moment I found it.TFTC
Found it luckily after doubling back to drive to it because of no signal + took me a while with no signal, my map wasn’t accurate!
Im from canberra to visit Hobart see my friend 63ROOS take me to drive around to country and find few caches.. the weather is ok,,,, tks
Beautiful sunny day today, enjoyed to twin for some caches before way to home from coles bay for weekend..

Small trek with limited reception. Cache in good order. Mozzies at GZ were very friendly.

A 4x4 Trip with my good mates ToolboxTas and Swampy (aptly called our 'Fluid Tour' because we made it mostly up as we went along) brought us to this cache.
Great campsite but apart from the cache the highlight was ToolboxTas made up fishing net from a stick, bit of fencing wire and a fly net which allowed Swampy to net a fish with some tinned tuna as burley! TEAMWORK at its best!
Thanks for the cache chrisamuel

Found on the Fluid February Tour of Tasmania by ToolboxTas, red tag & Swampy.
Even though Toolbox has already found this one, it didn't take me long to spot it from a distance. red tag didn't believe I had until i showed her my hand....
Found it just on dusk when I realised there was a cache close by to our campsite.
Thanks for the cache chrisamuel!

Didn’t catch a bream but did find the cache quickly enough. Nicely tucked away and in good condition. Stayed nearby and exploring the area on our way home
With the day getting on and with over 130km to travel, i made this my last find for today (before returning to Swansea and points south of it to Triabunna for part 2 of my Eastern Sojourn Caching adventure next week all going well).
Parked at the huge parking area with it's own dock and seating area, then took the lower track walk to the cache.
Hides in these rocky areas can be found immediately or takes ages i find, but today it was found pretty much in the spot i first looked at, Gotta Love That!

The cache and contents are in A1 condition

TFTC a quick find along our journey. Beautiful location but a toilet spot for visitors
This morning after staying the night with nettie knows in Swansea, we decided to find all the caches in the area before heading back to Launceston. A nice morning out exploring the area.
A nice and peaceful spot here and a great place to bring the kayak for a paddle. The cache was found easily enough and I all good

Accurate coordinates made this an easy find . All's good at gz . Thanks chrisamuel
The cache was found by TaurusSix and me on a nice day. There was a school of fish in the water below which I watched for a time, and they appeared to watch back - spooky
So to finish off this little collection, after lunch back at camp, we headed to Dolphin Sands area, probably only the second time ever. And never to the Swan River where the mossies were relentless. Managed to sign the log before being carried off in a swarm. Thankyou for the experience chrisamuel.
Easier find when eyes open, beautiful river and peaceful. Too nothing, left mumma bear and cub, signed log. TFTC will be back one day soon I hope for a break away and paddle
Thanks for bringing us here chrisamuel, it is s place I have not visited before. Love the river and expect I will be back, with the kayak next time. I expect this will be our final East Coast find as we return home after the road trip with Reperio to attend Geocaching 20th anniversary events. It has been a great weekend.
Nice little stroll around the lake with a prize at the end, the logbook. Having a good time away for the weekend finding caches on the way.
On the way to events down the east cost with Merilyn Tas we dropped in to find this cache.
Such a neat beautiful spot
Easy find

Many years ago I used to fish here in my little tinny so it was nice to be back here. A short walk along the river bank and accurate co-ordinates enabled me to make a quick find.
Today, on our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to travel to Swansea for lunch and to collect a few caches on the way and after. In total we travelled over 400 km and this was one of the caches we found. After leaving Swansea we diverted into Dolphin Sands and followed a track to GZ.There were a couple of caravans free camping in the area. After a short search the cache was located and signed. TFTC
Couldn’t find ️ Will have to try again next time we visit from Ballarat! Maybe put in a hint or clue? Thanks
out and about with the RAFAS for a weekend at Swansea this was on the list. TFTC TNLN log dry a pleasant drive around the area and then back to Hobart
Thanks for the cache chrisamuel.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I were staying with friends in Swansea for the weekend, so we made sure we had time to find some caches that had appeared since our last visit to the east coast.
This one was published before our last visit to the east coast, but we ran out of time to find it, so this was one that we were keen to turn into a smiley. After dropping of my muggle son and his girlfriend for a swim at nine mile beach, RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I went searching for the caches in this area. This was a quick find. Cheers.

After a little search we did find the cache. Nice weather today on our route through Tasmania.
Tftc found by inspectorrexteam on our way back to the Spirit grabbing some caches before we leave this great island we call home we will be back soon.. sad it looks a bit like an open toilet getting here
This weekend was spent on a caching trip up the East Coast with Porkchop6977, staying overnight in Swansea before returning home on Sunday afternoon. In total we ended up finding seventeen traditional caches, two mystery caches, one multi and one EarthCache, with one DNF.
We picked up the other caches in Dolphin Sands on the Saturday, but had left this one due to running out of time. Naturally, we returned on the Sunday to complete the set.
This one was a fun little walk beside the river, a great place to explore! There's no chance we would have ever discovered this spot if it wasn't for the cache, so thanks for bringing us to this lovely location!

Hi chrisamuel thanks for the cache, NatalieC1234, her Geohubby, Mr & Mrs PC, Miss A, Miss I and Miss L headed up the East Coast for a weekend of caching sightseeing and enjoyment. A lovely wander to GZ on a lovely path winding along the Swan River. Kids enjoyed the puddles while we wandered along, logged and all good at GZ.
On our Trip around Tassie we had a quick stop and we enjoyed the view. We could find the cache after a short search.
But around is a lot of paper and trash. But the cache is fine.
Thank you and greetings from Germany

Really pretty little spot here. Thanks for showing us. Would love to bring a canoe out here. Sam and Jo from Geelong, Vic!
Didn’t find it but didn’t really want to spend anymore time in this location. It was disgusting! Nearby Australia Day free-campers has obviously all used this as their toilet spot with the bush littered everywhere with toilet paper. It was horrible and very disappointing.
Don’t bother, especially if you have kids. I suggest this cache be moved!

I’d suggest this cache be moved. It’s surrounded by toilet paper and is a horrible place to go searching for anything, especially with kids. Very disappointing.
Walk very, very carefully. The place is a toilet. Paper and rags everywhere. I only glanced about and left without touching too much [xx(]
Not a great place for a cache.
Not a great place for a cache.
What a lovely elevated view of the river but as a previous cachet said shame the area is used as a toilet TFTC
This trip was a last minute change of plan since myself and Goose needed to find a Earthcache this weekend so we would have to drive to Bicheno from Hobart as it was the nearest one we both hadn't found already.
Well we couldn't just find one cache so we pulling in a few others we had missed in the past, I found 22 GC and GCA caches all up.
Thanks to all the CO for the caches.

A 3rd find for the day. It's especially good to be able to see an area we wouldn't have otherwise come to. Tftc
After pulling a Toyota out of the boggy ruts near the river, I went off searching for the cache.
Quick find once I got past all the fishermen.

Unfortunately, it seems some people believe this is a good area to relieve themselves. Such a shame as it is a great place for a cache. Thanks for the cache.

Hi there chrisamuel.
We found your cache **"Swan walk"** at 3:30:00 PM today. (This makes our grand total 18855).
Another great day for caching. The sun is shining and there aren't too many clouds in the sky, so we decided to drive to here from the nearby caravan park. The walk to the cache was white - - - not with snow but the poo tickets left behind by inconsiderate campers. After our stinky walk, the log was signed and the cache replaced.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes. Our cache count was 3 caches today, with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in fair shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
