Not sure where this came from but all of a sudden, it was on the screen of one of our two appliances. It was a little way back but it said that it was archived with a TB in it, so a U turn was done, the cache was found and yes, there was a TB in it which we have now collected to move on. Not sure why this is archived but thanks anyway.
Heading south from Toowoomba to fill in some distances for the Well-Travelled Cacher Challenge...task complete we slowly made our way home finding caches of interest. The favourite points drew us to this one. Like monkey maker said...cache is fine but it just felt there should have been more to it??? Replaced as found. Thanks TeamPaulsen.
A two night stay in Stanthorpe and with time to kill before the wine tour a find was in order Found the cache quickly enough and then spent a few minutes accessing the log. All replaced as found and everything seems to be in good order here. TFTC
I was off to Stanthorpe to grab some challenge caches, Geo Wife had sent me off with her blessing as she thought she'd hold me back but it was nice to get away anyway.
I couldn't just do the challenges so I planned a list of caches that flowed easily.
Interesting puzzle here for a traditional cache, very well designed!!
Thanks Team Paulsen TFTC SL Thanks for the challenge of solving this puzzle!!

Found while in town for the long weekend. A very interesting find and clever. TFTC.
1921 - I didn't have plans to grab this one, but when you are driving past it, who can resist the opportunity to stop and grab one? I parked up on the side of the road as I didn't realise there were some much better parking options much closer to the cache. I found the container easy enough, but getting access to the log book proved a bit of fun. After a bit of this and that, I had signed it at 11:12am. Thanks for a different sort of cache TeamPaulsen, the cache and log are both fine.
Not sure about the location but the cache itself was worthwhile and deserves to be added to my favourite list.

Great cache, loved it, location was a bit 'untidy' though, why do people have to spoil the countryside with rubbish.

Wow I loved this very well done cache, sure wasn't expecting this type of Xmas Tree. Thanks TeamPaulsen and a favourite point from me & TFTC.
I was looking forward to seeing and of course signing this cache as it has quite a few favorite points. It was darkish by the time I got here so by torch light I wandered in. It didn't take long to spot the hide but unfortunately I don't think I found it the way it was intended. It was unmuggled and the log sheet was fine, I just think there is suppose to be more to get into it. I could be wrong but it might be worth checking on it TP.

We were unable to get to the MEGA Event earlier in the year so decided to come caching in Stanthorpe for the long weekend. This was our third day of caching.
This was a quick find once we found the closest approach. We ended up parking about 20 metres from the cache. There was a lot of rubbish around but the unique cache made up for this. A favourite point from us for the cache. TNLN TFTC.

We got a new car this week and needed an excuse to take it for a drive, so why not head to Stanthorpe for the day. We found 39 caches in total today, a new record for us. Hoping to complete some more of Stan's Apple today and enjoy the beautiful area of Stanthorpe. A quick easy find. Thanks for the cache TeamPaulsen.
What a great cache idea - definitely something a bit different. It's disappointing that so many places like this end up as make shift dumps. Eventually worked out how to extract the log and it was suitably signed and all put back as found. Cache in good condition, thanks for placing this one Team Paulsen.
In true form (with no less than 4 separate GPSr's operation on board the campervan) we went down the wrong track on our approach & had to carefully turn turtle. The right track could have accommodated half the Qld Mega contingent in it's spaciousness. Shame about the tip hereabouts but you've got another fav point to add to your hoarde. Well done TeamPaulsen.
Out collecting Apples and this was spotted on our GPSr while driving around.
Not sure we got the log out how, it was intended to, but log signed and replaced as found
Thanks for the hunt TeamPaulsen

Hi there TeamPaulsen. We found your cache "Xmas Tree" at 9:52:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 10875.
[Blue]
When the Mega Event was on over Easter we spent the majority of our time socialising, and very little time 'caching. So we have returned to attempt some of the caches that we missed out on.
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious construction.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Managed to park close to this one considering all the rubbish about. I spotted the cache and let Gunnie69 go in for the retrieval.
Day 2 of the return trip to Stanthorpe to collect the caches we couldn't find during the Mega weekend, due to lack of rain and too much rain, and to see off Team Robins on their epic adventure around Australia. Today the plan was to collect Stan's apples and a few other caches before heading off to Team Robins for an event to see them off on their adventure.
Thanks TeamPaulsen for the cache.

A quick trip to Stanthorpe for the traditional but a little early Xmas in July event for 2015. I took the opportunity to tackle the caches along the once was Mt Lindsay Highway but is now Mt Lindsay Road.
I had travelled the dirt section while at the mega to get to Bald Rock but that was just about sight-seeing. Today was different. I saw the sunrise at Amberley, bypassed the traffic jam at Aratula and made a beeline for Liston and the nearby Undercliife Falls. I headed south to Tenterfield and tackled everything along the way, before heading north to Robins Nest and the event and the overnight stay.
Missed this one at the mega as the rain was just a little heavy. Interesting cache construction but maybe showing signs of mega fatigue.

After making our way to GZ, Ghostgums quickly spotted the prize and we took a second or two to work out what the go was, in order to retrieve the log. With a little playing around, we successfully extracted the log, but had made it harder than we needed to. Naturally... It was only on replacement that the last “handy” element to the design was identified, which made it much simpler for the return… Always the way…
Nice to see a cache with some creativity and thought in the design, thanks for the effort you have put into this one. It gets a favourite from me… [^]
Cheers TeamPaulsen.

Out and about for the day to climb Bald Rock and to find some geocaches. This one was a real beauty. Very clever container and TFTC Team Paulsen.
cache find #3076. The last of the caches for us to find in Stanthorpe before heading for home tomorrow, after attending the Mega. We do like cleverly constructed caches. TFTC. A favourite point from us.
Found by Mary & David, at 1655. Enjoyed this well-constructed cache. A favourite for it. Our thanks to TeamPaulsen.
Out caching with HappyFeet an Grumpybump while attending the OZ Mega 2015
Thanks Team Paulsen
Thanks Team Paulsen
Absolutely this cache, very ingenious and definitely deserves a favourite point from me. TFTC
I was keen to come and find this cache as it's one of our few green boxes around this area. Today we stopped off here while geocaching after the QLD MEGA held nearby. Loved the idea of the cache container. We had just replaced it when another pair of cachers came looking. We quickly moved away so as not to spoil their fun. I think they found it quicker than we did though. Thanks Team Paulsen [^][^]
Out for the last day in Stanthorpe with Mistraluna and the Better Half.
Found the cache without problems.
Was in interesting container.
Thanks TeamPaulsen for the cache.

Bit of a sad day today, being the last day of the Queensland 2015 Mega Event. Many cachers are already packing up and heading home. Not us though - we have another day to fill in, hoping to find as many of the unfound caches around the Stanthorpe area as we can. This was the first of our finds for today. Interesting location for an unusual cache. Thanks for the smiley TeamPaulsen
Final cache before leaving Stanthorpe after the Mega. The gps in the car got confused and led us here, geo hubby was very happy. Tftc
What a clever design. It's so nice to come across an unique cache container. Mr. Herbz spent a while carefully working it out. It took a while to replace as well. TFTC TeamPaulsen
Great cache, first one we've seen like this so have a fav point, TFTC staying on in Stanthorpe after attending the Q'land Mega which was first class!
Out with Bristracker and Aussie Liahona to finish off Stan's apples and the lab caches and a few others along the way. This was a very cool cache, nice to have different ones. TFTC
What a clever cache! Love the concept. We are currently looking for some LARGE caches to help with the "Bingo" Challenge, so this one was on our radar. Found at 3.10 pm on 6th April 2015. TFTC.
Catching up with mega logging. Have recollections of this being a clever cache (I hope that I;m not mixing it up with another one)
Thanks for adding to a great weekend.

In town to attend the QLD Mega with Calypso62, Skyebomonkeytown & Ali600. Returning to Stanthorpe for the Flash Mob, stopped to do this cache. Took the wrong track, bushed bashed a little but still found GZ. A quick find followed then back to town. SL TFTC

Happy Easter!! sharkiefan and I decided to try and pick up as many of the Stans Apple puzzle series as we could today in between events. We had quite a big day, found lots of caches and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Found 16 Trads, 15 Mysteries, an event and of course the reason we are all here... A Mega!!
Another quick find along the way. Cheers.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day ten and the day of the actual Mega had arrived. There were a few events to get to but otherwise it was another day of caching on the local Stanthorpe area getting the final apple caches and anything else we had not yet done yet. Happily the weather had come good for the day. Thanks.

Found at the QLD MEGA! With MinkosDes and mtill17

Another Night run to polish off our Stanthorpe visit and so that the boys could get their 100 geocaches in one day. Nice Work boys!

A great days caching and road trip at the Oz Mega 2015 with Taurus1955 and Misschief18. Lots of experiences and adventures we had lots of laughs along our travels some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
very clever well done I liked this one !!

Found with Phetlern on a day when we concentrated our efforts around Stanthorpe town as we also attended the events.
Day 3 of our weekend at the Mega in Stanthorpe and we are out and about in the rain, yet again. Only ducks and cachers would be silly enough to be out in this. Anyway, onwards we went and found this cache quite quickly, a good hide. About with misschief18, B/dale Bandits and Bentley TB

Had a great day out caching with Zobo04 and Lazzal. The weather was much better today so we managed to get out and find a few caches in some very interesting areas. Thanks to all the CO's for the hard work in placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy. TFTCTeamPaulsen
So todays target was to get as many icons as possible and after some working out, we managed to get 8 icons today (missed out on the Earthcache icons as we logged it the day before ). I was happy with 8 icons today
We started off on the Wherigo, then off to get some traditionals, followed by doing a CITO around Quart Pot Creek while collecting caches along the walk. We then went and completed the Multi, followed by a Letterbox Hybrid, then off to the Flash Mob we went. After the Flash Mob was completed, we went off to get a puzzle (and I went for a swim for a puzzle lol) then to finalise the day, it was finally time to log the MEGA event.
We had a wicked time at the Mega this year and met lots of new people, did heaps of path tag trading and enjoyed the entertainment provided.
Thanks TeamPaulsen for placing this cache for us to make a find on

Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
The plan for RW and I for the day was to collect as many cache icons as we could, which ended up being 8 (we logged the nearby earthcache the day before ), as well as picking up any puzzles and random trads along the way.

Setting out with Alansee, to reign in some caches close to Stanthorpe, we were treated to a dry day with some periods of warm sunshine. This is one of the caches we found as we picked some more of Stan’s apples, walked beside the river, collected rubbish, followed the trail of a bushranger and waved for the camera at the Flashmob Event.
This novel hide is certainly deserving of a favourite point.
Our thanks to TeamPaulsen for bringing us here.

Sunday of the Mega...winery drive south of Stanthorpe. Still time for caching in between wine tasting...
This cache was found on 5 April 2014 and is Geocache 1189 in my bag of smilies. This find was part of my Mega Long Easter Weekend... 'Why Mega?', you might ask. Well, the answer is easy, The QLD Mega Event - http://coord.info/GC4X31B in Stanthorpe!
This event is something that I have been waiting for for over a year now. Now that it is here, it is time to get our Mega Geocaching Geek on!
After a very busy day mtill17 and I did a quick cache count... WHAT, we were only like 20 caches off 100?!?! There was no way we could leave it at that, it had to be rounded off.
'Xmas Tree' was powergrabbed by ZoolandR, mtill17 and I as we made our way through the many, many Geocaches that Stanthorpe has to offer. Nothing beats country towns, National Parks and the occasional Geocache along the way.
Have a Happy Easter TeamPaulsen and Thank you for the cache.

We were heading back from a trip to NSW (ho ho: a very, very short trip!) when I spotted this one along the road, which attracted us for various reasons. After going up the wrong road initially, we pulled into the wasteland and made our way over. Intriguing design and well-executed. We think we left it better arranged than we found it, but all good so TFTC.
